Ipe Tombe is one of the nicest B&B's I've stayed in. From the lovely, lush grounds and early morning birdsong, to spacious, comfy rooms and super clean windows, it is a tranquil haven. Pat and Chris are exceptionally welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is superb, as were the optional dinners. As a solo traveller, having the option of an in-house dinner was great. Fantastic hosts, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere make this a fabulous establishment, which I highly recommended. Thank you Pat, Chris, Boots and Thomas for a wonderful stay.

-Friendly management and staff and very professional, always ready to go the extra mile -Excellent clean environment, serene, calm and green -Delicious, filling breakfasts that can be varied if needed -The most magnificent gardens with the swimming pool, which, unfortunately I did not try. -A very spacious guest house with additional work areas such as a lounge, a Lapa and the garden -A few DSTV channels which was a plus for me as I’m not a Netflix person -In a gated community and therefore I felt very safe -Spacious room with a balcony and I ended up booking another week in a more spacious room😀 -Pat the owner & Chris the Chef together with all the staff really make it a wonderful, welcoming environment and I highly recommend the establishment

-An area for improvement could be the cleaning of the bathroom in particular, the floor and the glass basin which was in my room -Loadshedding is a bummer and not the owners fault. I had booked the place because it was advertised with Loadshedding back up. For economic reasons the generator wasn’t always turned on. I totally totally understand this and the owners tried their best to accommodate the times when I needed electricity/WiFi during loadshedding.Kudos to them

Loved our stay here. Very friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

Quiet and calm. Very clean.

Breakfast was adequate. Location good, for where I needed to be.

Could be a little modernized, feels very dated. Feels a little "hostel-y" having to be buzzed in and one feels like you have to rush to get back, when going for supper, so as not to have to wake anyone up to get in.

I liked the garden and the pool, and the atmosphere, in general, was excellent. The house is as advertised on booking.com. Breakfast was a highlight for me. The hosts are so friendly. I struggled to find the place, so I arrived at the hotel at 11:12 pm. Chris waited for me, and I checked in.

It is not easily accessible.

The food was absolutely fantastic and reasonably priced. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the establishment. The staff members were incredibly friendly, and Pat made sure that we were well taken care of. They even had games for us to enjoy and a lovely pool area. We would love to return in the future.

Limited TV channels

The staff at the lodge were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms were very spacious (including a massive bathroom), the outdoor area and pool are perfect for hot summer days. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend!

Beautiful location, comfortable bed with effective AC. Spacious room.

The only signage is on the lights by the gate. I drove past it the first time. If there was a better sign outside to identify the gate it would be great.

Unfortunately I did not have breakfast because I was catching an early flight. But the dinner was great. I like the fact that they have provision for dinner meaning no need for a guest to eat out. Management is super!!
