La Rochelle is a great holiday place. The kids enjoyed the activities, pool and the play area. The cleaning staff were amazing and very friendly. The reception staff are very helpful.

I need to mention that we were very uncomfortable with the security trying to open the doors to the unit just after I left in the morning and my family had stayed behind. I didn't understand why they would be checking for locked doors at 5h30am and not even knock. Wife and kids were terrified luckily the doors wear locked.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Very safe. Great amenities with entertainment for family, friends and children. The flats seem newly renovated or well maintained.The stove is old but still works well. One flat had a new fridge and the other an old one so it seesms they are in various stages of upgrading. All in all, spacious and comfortable.

Only 1 problem we had was that the TV only had 1 channel in 1 of our flats but we were not watching TV anyway so we didn't bother to report it. I am sure they would have fixed it as everything else is well maintained.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was very relaxed and it was a great place to spend a few nights while taking in the sights at the local game reserves. Close to local shops so very easy to get hold of food etc. and some nice eateries nearby too

The only small negative was that there were a couple of items missing from the list of items provided within the apartment, but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay, these were noted on the form which was returned to reception by us and there was no fuss made about them.

Sihle in the front desk was efficient and great with customer service, venue very good for families with small children, the kid facilities and toddler pool was just a win! The place was clean and comfortable. There are too many positives... We will definitely be back!

The aircon in the main room was not working, even after paying for aircon (unfortunately bad luck of the draw... I think it just needed a little vent clean and maintenance, nothing major wrong). The other rooms were fine however.

So far the best stay in St lucia by far, we will definitely be back, the service, and amenities cater for all yours and your family needs, kids activities to keep your kids entertained, the pool area was a life saver and all round friendly staff. Aircons in all the rooms. Already planning the next trip.

There were no cancellations to extend our stay.

THE STAFF AND SECURITY WERE FRIENDLY, AMAZING AND SO HELPFUL. IT WAS MY 57th BIRTHDAY AND WHEN I GOT BACK FROM OUR DAY OUTING AT HLUHLUWE GAME RESERVE THEY HAD MADE THE BED UP WITH FOLDED TOWELS , A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE AND CHOCOLATES WITH A BIRTHDAY CARD ON MY BED . IT WAS SUCH A SURPRISE AND REALLY SPECIAL. MADE OUR TRIP AWAY VERY MEMORABLE.

NOTHING TO DISLIKE

Well equipped kitchen and apartment. Neat and clean. Cleaning service was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Peaceful location, main street is close by. Nice swimming pool and kids facilities which my little one enjoyed. The toiletries and towels was great. Beds comfortable. Sufficient TV channels. WiFi was okay.

There were four single beds and one double. Since we had two couples was a bit difficult we had to join them. Didn't like the Aircon concept being prepaid because we always have it included when we travel. The toilets need to be soaked or changed because the bowels are discoloured.

The independant house is very well-equipped and functionable. Beds were confortable, pool is perfect for the kids and adults, and the monkeys bring some actions! The staff is very professionnal and give tips, useful and accurate information, kudos to them!

The paying elecrticity for air-con was not advertised before the booking if I am not mistaking...but we were lucky, the precedent guests paid too much and the staff is honest and let the credit at our disposal! We left some of it for the next clients ;o)

The place was amazing!!!! Not at all what i was expecting for the price that we paid. The entire place was spotless! It beat Southern Sun Hotel JHB hands down just in that alone! Decor is beautiful! And the beds were sooo comfy! Fun activities available are great, especially if travelling with littlies - our family consist of grown up kids, but they had fun anyway spending time in the jacuzzi! The braai area was awesome - covered for the rain with table and chairs for mom's comfort while the boys braai'd. Being close, but not too close, to town and shops was great! The staff are the cherry on top! Kerry is kind and friendly, very helpful and keen to help, with a beautiful smile!! It makes the world of difference. Vumani was awesome! His friendliness and kindness, making calls to arrange our game drive and boat trip - yes, it may be a service that is provided but to do so as he did is awesome! If anyone ever feels down, all they need to do is call La Rochelle and have Vumani answer with his "How may I make you smile?" It is enough to take the wind out of any agitated person sails! Our stay here is ranked highly by all of us and La Rochelle is highly recommended by all of us. Well done and thank you for making our stay in St Lucia so amazing.

There is only one complaint that I have: we had to leave! And that only because we had a limited time to spend in St Lucia! If we could, we'd have stayed a lot longer.

The site was very clean and tidy, the chalet had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. we will stay here again.

The load shedding was a bit frustrating, although the staff came around with flasks of hot water so we were able to make tea, it would maybe be an idea to give every chalet a single plate gas stove. The aircon meter was also a little frustrating to keep checking if we needed to load vouchers or if it would run out.
