Lovely stay in St Lucia. We had Nelly welcoming us, she was so friendly and explained very well. Also one of the best breakfasts we had, you had multiple options to choose from and the yoghurt was great. The room itself is clean and has a separate bathroom and toilet, which is nice. We had a lot of space and a little bench to sit outside.

Only thing I can think of is that the soap in the shower was not great

Spent 4 nights in this comfortable and well priced B&B. Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the Breakfast was excellent. There is a nice small pool available. A Solar electricity system was installed during our stay which seamlessly trips in at times of the all too frequent “Load Shedding”- this is a major improvement and much better than relying on a noisy generator. If you like nature there is loads to do in the St Lucia area.

We loved our stay here and found Ursula and her staff to be so welcoming and helpful. They seemed to anticipate what we needed for a relaxing break and made sure we were well looked after. Breakfasts were good. Rooms were very clean and comfy. Doors open onto a stoep to chill on and we were kept stocked with plenty of ice for our wine. Overall very good value.

Loadshedding. No permanent electricity backup but Ursula did offer to start up the generator if we were desperate and did when we requested it. We did understand how expensive and difficult it is for small guest houses to keep the lights on so didn't want to push our luck. The loadshedding is not the establishments fault but generally does impact on people wanting to travel a bit. Just be aware that there may be times with no power due to loadshedding.

Location, swimming pool and breakfast were all very good. Rooms are well furnished and everything worked. Neli on Reception was extremely helpful and arranged a tour for us.

It would be good if filter coffee could be provided at breakfast. On our second afternoon there was some some sort of party going on round the swimming pool, which is not allowed in the house rules and deterred us from swimming.

All that i want to say is that i will book again at Marlin Lodge. For sure. And it will be in room 4 again! Kick starting the day with a breakfast off the menu or a pack going out early to the beach.

Staff very friendly. Special thanks to sis Nelly who took good care of us and made our stay possible after some confusion and complications. Clean rooms and pool. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect 👌

On my day of departure I found that my car had been washed. What an amazing extra mile service without asking for it. Staff were incredible as well.

Would have preferred butter at breakfast but really not an issue. Breakfast was excellent regardless.

Rustic and we had a gorgeous braai facility. Lovely breakfast and Nelly was an awesome hostess!

Not so much a didn’t like but could have done with extra coffee 😜

The service was great. Thank you to the personnel, which supported us with some loud party people. The second time we where there, willing to come back again.

We were missing the 2 cute dogs this time.

Isabelle is a great host and her personnel is really friendly and welcoming. Isabelle had really good tips on what to do in St lucia. the rooms were very clean, looked very nice and had everything you wish for. the breakfast is amazing! We liked our stay so much that we decided to stay for two more days.
