The house was big and beautifully furnished with all the amenities we needed and more. The solar power was amazing given the storms and power outages. The pool and pool deck were amazing. The gardener and maid were always available and so friendly and engaging. Bianca was the perfect host and responded so quickly to questions etc. Be sure to close the driveway gates, last night there were 3 hippos munching on the lawn opposite, fantastic.

It is nice, clean, has enough room for two families. We loved the fact that everything you need is there. It is self catering and has a daily housekeeper and gardener. The location is very close to town within walking distance to town. We all felt very safe at this property. It is in a very quiet neighborhood with no distractions or disturbances.

how clean it was, if I was into cooking for myself this place would suit the bill as you have everything there to help. bed was super comfortable . the shower was awesome, lovely dipping pool perfect at the end off a hot day exploring. I put my dirty washing in the machine intending to do later but the daily maid surprised me by the time I got back all washed and folded wow that is service. Wi-Fi is great and no load shedding as the owner has her own energy.

for me everything was perfect but if you have a family who needs to charge phones iPads etc there is a lack off sockets. but please it’s only a small gripe .

Stunning house with all the comfort you need. Shame that our itinerary only gave us one night here as we would loved to have stayed longer. Looking forward to place to stay: this is it! Thank you Bianca, Karel and your lovely welcoming staff!

the house is perfect, independent, walking distance from the little town, the pool is perfect for young kids (6 and 7). Bianca was checking on us genuinely to see if we would have need anything. the house is clean : very very nice time there

I won’t remove any star for it because that is nothing to do with the house and the owner but every day and every night we had power cut because South Africa experience power shortages. so it’s more a comment about St Lucia. But the house has its own generator and Bianca was sending us the schedule of the cut every day.

A twin tub washer rather than automatic and the TV connection would fail every 45 mins for about 2-3 mins before coming back.

Beautiful well equipped spacious house in a great location near to restaurants and shops. Lovely outside patio area around the pool. Good communication with the host.

Pelican' nest is truly a home away from home. It is family friendly with play areas for the kiddies. Karel and Bianca together with their team keep the place immaculate!

The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could possibly have needed. The host, Bianca, was really attentive and kept checking in to make sure that we were comfortable and having a good time.

It was really cold during our stay and we could not enjoy the pool.

Main shower could be better. Would be great if it could be renovated like the ensuite. Electric gates would also be very helpful.
