The staff at Marianne Wine Estate were most welcoming and the added bonus of staying here is the fabulous wines that we got to enjoy with the help of very knowledgeable Willy! Maureen, the chef also served us the most delicious meal. So many items were complimentary that you left feeling very spoilt.

We got a room upgrade but unfortunately due to chilly weather conditions, the room was uncomfortably cold. The Aircon was ineffective and it appeared that the thermostat had gone! We needed either electric blankets or hot water bottles to take the chill out of the linen. It was a pity as it meant we didn't sleep well after what was a fabulous wine tasting and dinner!

Location was stunning, so peaceful, room spacious and beautiful, bathroom so big and bath was lovely. Everything very clean! I was upgraded to a room closer for my convenience by the very friendly staff and I appreciated that very much.

Breakfast was good and as I was the only guest it was a small buffet just for me. As I am quite a fussy eater who doesn’t like waste I would prefer if asked what I would have liked first. Or explained what was coming my way so I could let them know ahead of wasting anything.

The setting is gorgeous! I wanted to stay at a winery in Stellenbosch and Marianne delivered with gorgeous views from the breakfast/wine tasting area. Our room was comfy and clean though not ready when we arrived even though I'd been told early check-in wouldn't be a problem. Staff were friendly and kind.

The load shedding is a problem as was water availability! Had to have a bucket of water at the ready to flush at certain times, but this is life in South Africa. Place is about twenty minutes from Stellenbosch town but you can arrange transport to and from rather easily though more expensive than Uber. Hope they get their restaurant up and running soon!

Our room ( the honeymoon hut )is in the middle of the vineyard, and provided a secluded and peaceful location. Its a couple of hundred metres from the shared pool, and a further few hundred metres to walk to the main building for breakfast / wine tasting. But if you're lazy it's a 2 minute drive ! All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and the wine tasting was good fun and v reasonably priced. Breakfast was ample, with a good choice of options.

There is no evening meal available, we were informed of the on site restaurant being closed in the evenings a few days before our stay. Not sure if this is a permanent change, but worth checking before your stay, as other locations get fully booked and are a drive away.

Very beautiful Vineyard, with an amazing view, especially the terrace to watch the sunset. The rooms have an exquisite interior, they are very spacious. There are cool mirrors. The wine tasting is included and thanks to Wilson, an extraordinary wine connaisseur, we spent an unforgettable and insightful evening, getting to know the interesting, pricewinning Marianne wines. The Chef Jason accompanied the tasting with a great menu. Both were very attentive to our needs and made the best of the experience.

Lovely Wine Estate, with fabulous breakfast and a beautiful view over the wine yards. The room were we slept was extremely big and had such a luxurious bathroom! After having a wine tasting we walked through the wine yards of the estate and had a far looking view all over Stellenbosch!

The only thing what we didn't know was the following: all the hot water did not work, and we had to open up the taps of the shower, bath and sink for 2/3 min and let them breathe some air before they started to give hot water. Secondly the WiFi did not work at all because of the weather, but the place is beautifull enough to stay there without.

Lovely accomodation in a wine estate. Due to stormy weather, we were moved from the originally booked Chalet in the vineyards to a room in the estate - which was perfect for us as well:) Room was very spacious and cozy and we were provided with a free bottle of wine and wine tasting. We really enjoyed the stay!

There could be a few more options for breakfast and dinner.

We started with a wonderfull winestasting with a cheese and meet platter. Ther is a beautiful calm surrounding with nice views over the vineyards! We had a specious room with extra room for the kids. A big shared living room and garden with sunset! And also a big kitchen. We have booked a very relaxing massage from Joy. Marianne has lovely staff and a nice driver! Kevin brings us everywhere and was very helpfull. We loved to come back!

Fantastic experience here...the best place we stayed at on our month long trip. Beautiful huge room with lovely bathroom and staff could not do enough for us...Yolanda and Cathy were stars...Breakfast and wine tasting were excellent...Grounds/pool area and views stunning...Lovely view of table top mountain in the distance...Would definitely go back

Only downside was restaurant was closed on a Monday night which was the day we stayed so about 15km drive into Stellenbosch for dinner...Other than that...fantastic

Marianne Wine Estate didn't get an update when I changed our dates on booking.com, so when we arrived, there was no booking for us. However they were very friendly and luckily had a room available for us. The wine tasting + platter is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Late check out was no problem, that helped us a lot!
