Overall, our experience at this hotel was exceptional. The combination of its prime location, picturesque courtyard, and luxurious rooms made for a truly unforgettable stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch hospitality experience.

The air conditioning unit in our room proved to be unreliable, cutting out repeatedly throughout our stay. Although the fan provided some relief, keeping us cool, it was not an adequate substitute for a functioning air conditioner. We hope that the hotel will address this issue to ensure a more comfortable stay. Another concern was the disappointingly low water pressure in the shower. We strongly suggest that the hotel investigates this issue and takes corrective action to improve the water pressure.

Lovely big room! stunning location in Whiteriver, love love casterbridge, restaurants, and the general vibe.

Though the room was big and comfortable, setting not suitable, next door to our room were a room full of kids, screaming, running around, slamming doors, just extremely noisy, as we don't have kids, not being used to that, and just wanted to have a peaceful quiet weekend away...the room is also ajacent to the main road, entrance to the hotel and opposite Magnolia restaurant, perfect for a family thats used to noise, but not for a couple that just wanna relax without all the noise! BUT not your fault, when I made the booking on booking.com it was the last and inly room available.

The hotel is lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There are some lovely touches, such as a welcome snack in the lobby and real filter coffee and espresso available in the room and a very comfy bed. The dinner and breakfast in Magnolia were delicious.

Not an issue, but the lighting in the room was very bright or very dim. A bedside lamp (rather than just a reading light on the bed) would be a positive addition.

Restaurants, Magnolias and Picassos were great. The pool was amazing and the little bunny rabbits all over addrd to the atmosphere. All the shops and boutiques, car museums etc were extra things to do. Not too far to drive for sightseeing, ziplines, bungee, beautiful waterfalls.…

As we were there for a rugby tour, we were quite a large group split up into several rooms. One night about 19:30 one of the hotel residents complained that we were noisy. The staff were very helpful and arranged for us to leave the pool and take our party to the veranda at Magnolias. Since it was still early we felt it unreasonable and respect should go both ways for eg. Tone it down after ten. All thanks to the staff for helping us to continue our celebrations elsewhere.

The location is central between the City and Hazyview. I enjoyed it’s proximity to an ATM, a variety of restaurants to choose from, galleries and art shops etc. I liked that buffet breakfast was included with the total cost and that their restaurant which is open to the public also doubles as room service. The restaurant’s cappuccino is very good - that easily could have been my highlight. The customer service was really good.

I don’t have much to fault only that room 24’s wi-if connection was not that great. But it seemed fine in other areas like the pool and the restaurant. My room only had a shower.

The rooms are spacious, clean and all look out out onto the pool. Breakfast is simple but tasty and it helps that it is served early from a work point of view. Have stayed here a number of times and will continue coming back.

Don't love the noise of the traffic you can hear from the rooms near the bottom end with all the trucks at night.

Great location and freindly staff. Nice adjoining restaurant and bar. Lovelly pool area, Comfy beds.

Our family room had an interleading door to another guest room that was not soundproof so we were disturbed early and late by the adjoining room on 2 nights with noisy neighbours. Being asked to keep the kids quiet in the pool while a business conference was on the go in a meeting room facing the pool was a bit obtuse.

We booked at the hotel with adjoining restaurant as we were arriving from a long car journey and we hadn’t eaten the whole day travelling. when we arrived at the hotel restaurant we were told by the restaurant staff they couldn’t seat us as they were full, and the restaurant reception staff made us feel most unwelcome. After some time they managed to sort it out and find us a table. the restaurant wasn’t full even when we finished and left, so we were not sure what it was all about ! I reccomend you ensure your dinner booking when you make your reservation !

Large rooms. Quiet. Beautiful pool and garden area. Air conditioning. Large shower with good water flow and water heated up quickly. Adequately sized desk and suitable chair with accessible plugs. Large comfortable bed with perfect pillows. Balcony. Suitcase stand. Lots of seating. Spacious airey restuarant in very easy walking distance.

No dedicated foot path to restuarant - walk up a section of road with no pavement. No bottled water.
