New staff at reception is very friendly and helpful. They were very kind and informed us of all the services and made themselves available for anything we might need. We had been staying there for many years, and it was nice to see that finally the rooms have been upgraded.

Can the hotel have more TV channels, please? Towels and bed linen had a funny smell.

The rooms were so clean,the stuff member very welcoming and available for anything ,any time.The pool very superb although we couldn’t use it because of the weather and that I was not well and it’s 2 second to the biggest mall what a bonus

The fact that there’s no heater and we were not provided the iron we had to ask it

Everything was clean. We had all that we needed for our holiday. We cooked, relaxed and enjoyed ourselves

Only once did the “ house keeper “ unlocked the door and opened it while we were still sleeping .

Bed was comfortable, room clean, staff friendly, even at 2am.

The menu in the restaurant is completely traditional food. On the off chance a local comes to the hotel to stay, they may appreciate it. But for Guests from out of town, plate of potato chips or a simple burger, or a toasted sandwich available would go down well. Have the options for 'normal' restaurant food as well.

I really loved the location it is right next to ilanga mall so we were able to walk and save alot on transportation. The best part of our stay was the hard working staff they were friendly and patience with us. The whole place was more then what we expected we even saw peacocks such a beautiful creature. Definitely coming back next year.

Location and the apartment,not just a room. Reception staff very friendly and helpful Rooms very neat and comfortable once I was moved to another apartment because of a broken door lock in the 1st apartment.

Maintenance let Mercure down 😌I reported a faulty door lock when I arrived,came back at night to find the lock still broken,😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨I was told all the apartments are being upgraded..

I loved that it’s a hotel, while still cozy, and parking right outside the unit. Loved that it’s located right across from a Shopping Mall, so hardly needed to drive. A good balance of pretty scenery, while still close to ‘civilisation’. Load shedding ….not an issue at all!!!

Apart from nearly tripping over the tree roots that are beneath the paving, it was perfect.

We checked out from the room Sunday around 10:30 around 10:40 we went back to the room because we forgot a card and money but it wasn’t there anymore and the maid had been there so there is theft in the hotel and I was very upset. I sent an email but nothing was said to me. I’m still waiting for our belongings

The staff really went above and beyond for us. Thank you to the Administration team, THE BREAKFAST team and the DINNER team. You all deserve raises for your outstanding work.
