We had an overall good stay despite those small issues. Place is awesome

The fact that we had to take the stairs to the 2nd floor and we were not informed about that in advance. The staff didn't tell us about the wifi and also didn't inform us that there is a back generator in case of loadshedding. The issue that breakkfast period is only 1 hour long. Normally, it's more than that, especially to accommodate guests who come and need the extra rest the next morning and can't afford to attend breakfast so early but would have really loved to have it there. There was no answer on your smartchat.

I stayed a total of 3 nights at Harmony Guesthouse, 1 night before my overnight Kruger camping safari, then 2 more nights after the safari. The location of the guesthouse is in a quiet neighborhood away from the busy center. It is gated so the place is more secure. The property has a nice swimming pool, though I didn’t get to use it since it was still winter time, plus I was busy with tours all day. As for the room, it is very spacious, bright, and clean, & the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern & clean, and the hot water shower was fantastic. They serve English breakfast for an additional fee, but it is worth it as the portions were big & it was very good. The guesthouse does have a generator, which helped a lot, since the power went out, due to South Africa’s load-shedding schedules, a few times during my stay.

Only downside for me was that since I didn’t have a car, I couldn’t walk around the area or to the city center to buy what I needed since I was advised that it’s not safe. My flight into Nelspruit arrived late in the afternoon so I arrived late to the guesthouse. I was then hoping to walk around to get dinner; luckily, I had some snacks with me that sufficed. But for those with a car, there is parking at the guesthouse for convenience.

The place is breathtaking, flowers make it more beautiful

When I booked via booking.com breakfast was included , when I arrived I was told the money I paid doesn’t cater for breakfast . Is it because I’m at a genius level on booking.com and I get discounts ? Now the money I pay doesn’t match people who get breakfast so I have to be punished ?

The room was nice, the communal bathrooms were very clean, the braai area I loved ..it was a great stay all together We enjoyed using the pool. We really had a good stay altogether. Great value for money , we definitely will be coming back.

The staff made it difficult to navigate around the place, you sort of had to navigate your way around. We did not even know what to do upon check out, leave the key on the door? Leave it on the desk? But now, how do we exit the gate without the remote , there was no one to assist..

It would be much convenient to find the wifi information in the room.

Perfect location, comfortable clean room, aircon. Highly recommended at the price.

A few small niggles: towel rail in bathroom missing, bedside power adapter (window side) faulty. I think we got a smaller room than we booked. None of the were deal breakers, though.

Almost the environment and facilities of the guesthouse are exceptionally superb, which made my stay more conducive to my requirements.

During my stay or visit, nothing really bad I experienced, either disliked or encountered. 🌹🫶🏻🌹

We had a very pleasant stay. Friendly staff, helpful and kind. The room was well prepared. We had a special request of 3 seperate beds, and when we arrived, it was excactly as we expected. 5 * * * * *

The fact that we only could stay one night * * * * *

The security is so good, felt very safe especially for cars. A very clean and quiet place to relax. Easily accessible.

The swimming pool has restrictions for swimming at certain times, I am of the opinion that as it is a private swimming pool but not a public pool, less time restrictions should be considered.

First impressions last, the manner in which we were received by the owner set a very good and comfortable stay for all of us. Hospitality at its best
