Owners went out of their way to ensure we experienced the beauty of Mbombela and KNP, even allowed us to check out later after our morning game tour at the park. Packed lovely breakfast packs for us to take on the drive to the park.

The hostesses were awesome, they were helpful and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was 5 stars, they remembered my vegetarian option and catered for me. We had a very large breakfast spread. My allocated room was private and overlooked the nature reserve. Beautiful view.

It was quiet a long haul with suitcases from the parking to the room. Perhaps there should be a person allocated to helping guests with their luggage whose rooms are further away. Beehives in the patio and cobwebs in the room could have been cleaned out. I don't particularly like "open" showers as bathroom gets very messy.

The facility is tranquil with the view of the game reserve. We really enjoyed their breakfast specials. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to swim in their pool but it looked clean and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and willing to assist with all your requests. We upgraded our room to a bigger one. We're definitely going to be booking with them again.

I will say that we found the bathroom to be outdated (style wise) compared to the initial room we had booked. The showerhead could do with a replacement.

We loved the tranquility they provided. What truly set La Roca apart, though, was the exceptional hospitality. The owners and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, providing storage for our bags while we explored Eswatini, which made our travels so much easier. Their helpful advice and local insights were invaluable, ensuring we made the most of our time in the area. I can't recommend La Roca Guesthouse enough! If you're looking for a luxurious and welcoming retreat, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

We traveled to Mbombela for our kids kickboxing tournament. Our stay at La Roca was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The photos don't do this beautiful property justice. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we only had the best service from the moment we entered the property. Rooms were clean, well laid out and scenery was beautiful. Breakfast is made by the owners, you won't find a better breakfast in any restaurant. Thank you very much to LA Roca for a fantastic weekend, we'll definitely be back again.

There wasn't a thing not to like! Oh wait, my kids didn't like that we had to leave LA Roca.

The breakfast is amazing. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place has stunning plants and nature.

I stayed on the small beds and it was ok. I think it could have more lighting in the bathroom mirror. And the small bedroom don't have AC.

When we first arrived, we were welcomed by such friendly staff. The property was beautiful, the attention to detail was very evident as we walked through the property from the reception area to our rooms. The rooms were immaculate and the decor was so beautiful. We ate a delicious breakfast, which was so delicious and the owners are so welcoming.

I wish there is much more dishes and cutlery to eat takeouts on.

Perfectly located, feels like a get away from the city but so close to great places as well. The property is beautiful, overall tranquil environment with amazing staff and owners.

Best Guest Lodge in Mbombela!!! Marlea and Rob, the owners and their team are very friendly and helpful. The Guest House is immaculate, with big luxury, beautifully decorated rooms. Huge, very comfortable beds with good quality linen. The rooms have a small fridge, good wi-fi and Tv Channels, tea and coffee station with rusks. Great silent aircons and ceiling fans. The pool is big surrounded by gorgeous gardens. The birdlife is great. Very good security, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast and dinner was scrumptious. Stunning views from the dining area too.

A well-situated B&B, with very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast were special and the thought behind a the " breakfast special" was highly appreciated both visually and in the taste.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable and perhaps needs changing in room 6 , seemed small for the base provided.
