There is a lot I loved about this property. Possibly what I most loved was the attention to detail. The same qualities that earned it its four star SA tourism rating, are still present. I really enjoyed breakfast (it was a la carte, not buffet). Muesli, fresh fruits and yogurt is first served, and then patrons can select a hot breakfast from a menu as well. The hot breakfasts are heaven for meat-lovers, but small changes might render most meals suitable for vegetarians as well. The staff were wonderful - shout-out to Nozi who was really helpful and considerate.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was lucky to get a space in the wine tasting event in Zest, and the food from the restaurant was delicious. I really appreciated the touches in the room, like an espresso machine, rusks, and a small sherry. Comfy bed and chairs.

I have no complaints, but as the room is close to the restaurant and car park, those sensitive to noise/light sleepers should maybe ask for a room a little further back.

Very nice set up with parking outside rooms and lovely restaurant built into the premises . Very nice reception staff . Breakfast was ok without being great . Restaurant food was nice and the pace was modern and with great decor .

A couple of waitresses frankly should find another job where being miserable and totally unattentive is acceptable . When i ask a question i expect someone to look me in the face and actually look like they give a monkies . We were 4 and everyone noted the exact same thing on more than one occasion. I must add 1 or 2 were execptionally nice and helpful but the bad apples spoil the experience . The customer pays your wages ladies and without them you have no job !!!!!!

The room was spacious, very well appointed and modern. It had a very nice coffee machine and all of the toiletries were of a very good quality. It all had an upmarket feel to it. It was a bonus to have a quality restaurant on the premises.

Our room was on the bottom floor and one could hear the guest walking on the floor above.

The room is great and the restaurant (zest) has great food. Easy check in, safe and secure, and comfortable room.

My shower water went everywhere (even though I adjusted the head) but I've stayed 3-4 times and that's the first time that's happened. The main issue is the noise in the a.m. from the street/other guests. It can be a bit loud.

An exceptional guesthouse; I always stay here as it is simply superb - from check-in to departure. The breakfasts are fabulous, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. Staff and management are excellent. The on-site restaurant (ZEST) is absolutely excellent!

Booking.com oversold the room at Lowveld and the location was fully booked. Lowveld kindly accommodated me at Execustay, their sister property. I really appreciate their efficient help on this. Petunia at Execustay is amazing - friendly, helpful and resourceful. Execustay is clean, quiet and very nice. The breakfast was yummy. Great value.

Luxury room, clean and tidy. Quiet and peaceful. Exquisite Zest Restaurant. Ceaser Salad was an absolute winner, room service. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Coffee - add a Nespresso Pod Coffee Machine - you can even add it as an extra to pre-order on the booking.

BREAKFAST WAS GREAT. the omelettes were delicious and i am sure this would be a reflection on the quality of food served at ZEST which we will definitely try next visit. Location also really good. Nice quite neighbourhood.

On arrival we checked in. Then went into the restaurant to have a beer and glass wine. Service was not great by the gent who served us. Won't mention his name. But he is lucky I still tipped him. I doubt I will do that next time if I receive the same service.

Rooms are soooo comfy and tastefully decorated, from the mattress, pillows etc. The shower is awesome 👌 The liquor in the room, gives the extra touch. We slept like babies. The restaurant Zest is a great add to the place. Love the rustic, farm, modern vibe and the menu is also very elaborated. Breakfast a la carte, nonetheless with everything we could ask for (or we could have cakes 😂). My partner and I loved the place.

Very limited outdoors areas to hang out. The pool has little light at night.
