The bed and the blankets are very comfortable

We were provided with only 2 towels There are cockroach

The premises were clean and well looked after, the food was also amazing.

The staff's response to other tenants eroding our experience was dreadful. People were drunk making noise late at night in the passages whilst we were sleeping (with a little child). When I called the receptionist she said she would get security to resolve it but unfortunately the noise persisted. Even when I stepped out to speak to those people they simply laughed me off. That was really unpleasant and ruined the entire stay for us.

The place was exceptional and enjoyed it , except for the single bed that was meant for my 6 years old, the bed was old and not comfortable at all , you could feel the springs that’s how comfortable it was, . I would recommend the place to single people with no kids , and the staff was lovely and hands on. Loved the place.

Our tv was not working,no one attended the matter until we checked out,room did not hv pool view like we requested and our balcony was dirty

The room was cleaning, very quiet and we had privacy. The reception lady she welcomed us with warm hands, your security guards well trained. Didn't ask the name of the security guard with dreadlogs thank you for the excellent service and showing us around.

The was not enough toilet tissue, the swimming pool that we preferred to used was dirty. But other than that ikhaya lami is 1 of the best hotel in Mbombela.

Pamel at the reception was super welcoming,she can work with people KEEP IT UP LADY . The breakfast was very good fresh and tasty. Their rooms well cleaned and have that thing to say sleep for the whole day and relax.

Another pipe for ventilation especially on the toilet, once the windows is closed for long bad smell comes up. But the rest was super.

There was no “PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB SIGN” that one puts out of the door so that they may not be disturbed… Coming back from running Kaapsehoop marathon and trying to rest, our sleep was disturbed because there was no sign to hang out of the door.

Breakfast was perfect, the hotel reception personnel excellent, the kitchen disappointed us, we asked for dinner and agreed, we dressed up with my family for dinner and we were told when sitted in the restaurant that food is freezed and we cnt have dinner at the hotel, we had no food at all, we had to drive at night in a strange town to get food, that's the only disappointment but the hotel is awesome, the security guards are also warm welcoming and patient with guests.

Restaurant management

Location was perfect and the staff were welcoming. We asked to check out later than normal and they agreed wanted to shower before we leave. We will definitely come back with my crew

The service was very good. The staff is kind. Very accommodative. Great views from my room.

The towels were not clean. They were rather slightly brown and old instead of white. They could wash them better or buy new ones.
