The property was clean. We booked a family room which was perfect for us. It had a loft where my 11yr son could sleep by himself. He enjoyed that. I slept with my daughter on the big bed downstairs. The restaurant on site was the best. We didn't have to go out for dinner. My boy just wanted a burger which was not on the menu. He settled for oxtail under duress.

My kids were not too happy with the open plan bathroom. My daughter is 13 and my son is 11. You can imagine☺️

When we arrived, we were not happy with the room and the internet speed was not great. When approaching the manager (Ellie, spelling may be wrong) she showed empathy and offered to move us to another room. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and even offered to pay for extra data due to the slow internet. The Staff, breakfast, pool area and view are amaizing.

As per above, internet speed and some rooms need an update.

Moreover, the restaurant itself is nothing short of spectacular, offering not only breathtaking vistas but also a delightful culinary experience that is sure to captivate all who dine there.

In my humble opinion, three aspects could be improved: the price, the quality of the internet, and the breakfast. The price is significantly higher than the provided service. The Wi-Fi internet connection is very intermittent, limiting functionality. The breakfast could offer more options.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The lodge itself is stunning, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and beautifully maintained grounds. Our room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, with all the amenities we could have needed. One of the highlights was the food at Orange Restaurant – the meals were delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to all tastes.

Absolutely loved my recent stay! The people were warm and welcoming, the reception was efficient, and the restaurants served delicious food. The rooms were spotless, and the views were simply breathtaking. Breakfast was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. Everything was just perfect – I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing bush escape !!!

It was located close to where we needed to go early morning so it was very convenient. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. Kids loved to stay upstairs by themselves whereas I enjoyed the spacious queen bed . The room is equipped with fridge, kettle and microwave and usual amenities like shampoos with a hair dryer. Came with a bath tub and a shower. Added bonus is the property does not seem to experience load- shedding. Maybe I got lucky but looks like it seems to apply to the neighborhood around. Great place all around. Close to restaurants by car.

Fantastic views, lush gardens, great breakfast, nice swimming pool. Everything we needed for a family of 4. On-site restaurant was a bonus.

Having the restaurant on the property, parking becomes a bit of a challenge in the evenings and it was somewhat noisy/ disturbing when all the people are leaving later in the night. Toilet is not enclosed.

Our stay was really amazing, reception staff was so welcoming and explained some house keeping rules to us before we went to our room. The room itself was awesome, clean, spacious and everything was working perfectly fine. And the breakfast was great including the dinner we had on our arrival with some beautiful ambient live music. We would consider coming back to explore the pool.

Maybe a buffet breakfast or even extend the breakfast hours to at least 10am. Oh and a room telephone for enquiries is a need.

The attention to detail is absolutely amazing. From the darker towel in the bathroom for ladies that's got freshly coloured hair, to the bowl of mints next to you bed. The mini and snack bar well stocked with a wide variety. The breakfast pack that was provided was wonderful, thank you. I will definitely stay here again!!!

Stunning property with lovely views and AMAZING breakfast which was included . All the staff we encountered were very courteous friendly and helpful . We stayed in the family room with our 2 adult children . Had a wonderful sleep . Didn't mind the shared bathroom as it was only for 1 night . Lovely place to stay when in Nelspruit
