Having the spa free for guests was nice. The spa hours were a little early closing at 9pm if you like to be out for a while but they open up early at 5am so there's time in the morning if anything. It's a small detail but I like the scent of the sea on the towels in the room. The surrounding area is nice and the mountain view side was quiet enough to have the window open if you wanted.

The biggest thing for me was having no control on whether to make your room hot or cold. It could be the lowest temperature and the room would be very hot because my room was locked to heat. I was sweating on my first night and hugging water bottles to sleep with the air conditioning off and window open because I couldn't have control of the air conditioning.

Location was great, we traveled to Busan for 2 days and this hotel located perfectly in Haeundae area, next to blue line park and beach. Hotel stuff are amazing and friendly. There is a pretty good cafe downstate where you can find decent breakfast and a wending machine where you can purchase all the necessaries. There is also few convenience stores right next to hotel. I forgot my passport in the hotel and the hotel team was so nice and quick with sending it back to me to Seoul.

Facilities are a bit old, still clean and maintained

Nice hotel with a good location. Easy to access public transportation, also the beach and restaurant area is near. There's also a whole street lined with cherry blossoms if you happen to visit during April. Sauna and hot bath were lifesavers after walking the whole day.

Room is quite sizeable with enough spaces for 3 people. Great location close to Haeundae Beach and just in between Haeundae Traditional Market &​ Blue Line Park despite a bid distant walk to Haeundae Metro. Front office attentant was very helpful in arranging a Jumbo Taxi to take us to Busan Station.

Heater in hotel room was very dry, dehydrating & quite uncomfortable. We felt like needing to drink some water most of the time. Room temperature adjustment did not work as well for us and we needed to open the window during our stay. Amenity like soap & shampoo is quite limited and we had to ask for more from the front office.

Great location, clean comfortable rooms and a bargain for the price! Could not control aircon without notifying staff. Was way too hot!!! Even after we went down and changed to cool during the night it went back onto heat.

We liked everything. It's true that the hotel operates like a motel and you don't get a tooth brush, parking is paid and so on and it also looks slightly dated but that's what we expected, therefore, we were perfectly happy. The reception was kind and helpful, the sauna was great, we used the coupon for the coffee place, the location couldn't be better and the price-value is probably the best in all of Haeundae. We would stay at Benikar again and can recommend it.

Sauna, restaurant, everything.

Front desk was friendly but less friendly than I expected. But very good. They could have explained the sauna a little more. The lockers were confusing for foreigners. The room was warm and there weren’t many instructions on how to manage the digital services.

I read some reviews that made me worried, but I had a very good stay! The staff was so kind. The room was much bigger and cleaner than I thought it would be. The water pressure in the shower was so strong and the temperature was great. Although we left our room as do not disturb, the staff left us new towels, waters, and bath products outside our door. The cafe on the first floor has excellent coffee, and we recieved two 1000 won off coupons when we checked in. The location is great too!

I love the bath tub, if you are short like me 5'3 then you can swim around the bath tub. Definitely worth it.

No room service for food.

Location of hotel was central to beach and night life areas. Spa inside our bathroom was great as it used the mineral water form the mountains. Very clean and spacious room with plenty of towels and a comfy bed. Air-con was very effective and refreshing especially during 35+ degree heat.
