- location is great. 1 min walk to subway and the 6011 airport limousine stop is just 5 mins away. - it is a green hotel, no disposable items will be provided - we booked 2 family rooms for 6 if us, room is spacious - there is a self-laundry service which is convenient for travellers who stay for longer time. - Room is clean and spacious - Staff are friendly and helpful. We left some of our luggages behind for 5 days when we went to Japan. We stayed a few more days again after we were back from Japan. - there is a coffee shop at the lobby and at least 3 convenience stores on the same street. The bakery that is a few shops away from the hotel has great bakery that you must try. - There is a small Olive Young is just opposite to the hotel.

We stayed in two rooms for six days. The rooms, towels, and bedsheets were clean, and the cleaning service was excellent! Even when we left the room at 2 or 3 p.m., it was still cleaned. The rooms were exactly as in the photo: big, clean, and bright, with a great view. The rooms had many storage spaces, a safe, a teapot, an iron and an ironing board (by request), bathrobes, shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash, and body lotion. The breakfast was great. You have a variety of meals: omelets, fried eggs, sausages, croissants, fresh salad, dumplings, holland waffles, toast bread, jam, butter, good coffee, and black tea (rare in Korea). The hotel's location was perfect. It has a cafe with coffee and desserts, a convenience store, an ATM, and many restaurants and shops nearby. The bus and metro stations were also close.

We found the check-in time (15:00) a bit late. An earlier check-in costs 10 EUR for every hour before 15:00 (for each room). Besides that, everything was perfect! :)

Great location, 2 mins walk from Metro Station; good size very clean rooms; plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel; coffee shop at reception area; friendly staff at breakfast! Washing machine and dryer for guests' use. Also Japanese style smart toilets were great:)

Staff at reception could be friendlier and more helpful! Beware of hotel policy charging for early/late check-in. We arrived 40 mins before 3pm check-in, after travelling for 24 hours and hotel wanted to charge us extra for our room, which was already prepaid!! Absolutely mad stuff!! I'd understand if we arrived hours before check-in time but not 40 mins early!

Literally everything was fine. Lived in some airbnb before a few days moved into the hotel was just a good transfer and just up my mood really well when the room is pretty big with a small couch with pretty big desk in front is the window and a pretty big bed and nice and clean bathroom. Everything is good but do not expect too much because my opinion was different when I got the room.

Just the location is that nice but the price was affordable so I decided to give it a try. But there is a bus stop right literally in front of the hotel so bus stops are around the hotel so commute will not be that bad but it is not center, 3-5km away from Myeongdong and 2km from Ikseondong probably.

The hotel is Walking distance to train station but need to climb up by staircase, not convenient for heavy luggage. Airport bus 6011 reach bus stop nearby, is about 10mins walk across the street. Nearby many food stores. The room for twim sharing is big and bathroom look clean. Reception staff are helpful.

Location - very near to metro station line 4. Easy to get around. Airport bus to Incheon about 5 minutes walk, very convenient. Many small eateries and convenience store around. Room size was good for 2, luggage could be fully opened and still have space to move around easily. Rooms were cleaned with fresh towels provided every day.

Room heater temperature was centrally controlled, quite stuffy and hot at night. Hotel provided a portable fan which helped improve the situation.

Rooms were clean, modernised and decent sized for Korea. Room amenities were great and in good condition. Beds pillow and linens were very soft and comfortable

Lobby space is a bit small. Space on level 2 was not really available to hotel guests and was more for the cafe downstairs. Gym and laundry area were small and would get packed at times

The location was great. We enjoyed the more local/less touristy feel of the area. It was still close to main attractions, and extremely convenient for all modes of public transport, including international airport limousine bus, and taxis were also readily available. All staff we encountered were proficient in English, which was very helpful as our Korean was very limited, making our stay much easier. The hotel was modern and efficient and met all standard traveller requirements: beds and bathrooms had good quality products and were very comfortable; breakfast buffet had a range of food adequate for most palates, although limited with fresh fruit and pastry options; the cafe offset in the front lobby space was very handy for a quick coffee, although while food was fresh and attractive, only very limited options were available. (This however, was understandable, as there were so many food outlets and services very close by, with a great variety of cuisines to choose from).

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We did stay at several more sumptuous hotels that had larger lobbies and restaurant options, as well as a much greater range of food options, in our travels across South Korea, however Arirang Hotel was very pleasant, more than adequate, good value, efficient and had more the feel of a professional/business persons hotel.

This hotel is very close to Sungshin subway station and the nearby entertainment district is only a few minutes walk away (as this is a university area the entertainment is largely chicken restaurants and karaoke but there are some nice galbi places). We got a room at the end of the hall which was really quiet. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom new and well-maintained. Cleaning staff were prompt and helpful with requests. There's also a coffee shop in the lobby which offers a 10% discount if you show your room keycard.

The nearest subway exit (exit 6) only has a stairs up so I would recommend taking the escalators up at the exit across the street (exit one) and then using the crosswalk. You can see the hotel name from across the street.
