Location was convenient, 5 minutes walk to the nearest subway, accessible using public bus as well. Around the area were lots of restaurants reasonably priced since its near the university. Breakfast is nourishing enough, aside from the usual toast, cereals, and coffee, they will have hot food ( eggs, sausage or bacon, pasta ) on rotation. Breakfast was from 7 to 9. As for the room, what we liked is that they upgraded us, and since we are in a quadruple share, it is convenient that the room had a separate toilet from the shower area , and the sink was outside, so it allowed us to be able to prepare simultaneously.

Breakfast ended a bit early at 9am, would have been better if they extended til 930 or 10am. Also while the room was spacious enough for a family of 4, it doesn't have enough wardrobe space. instead they had this high tech LG Styler which we couldn't figure out how to use as all text were in korean, and even after googling the instructions, we didn't feel that it made our clothes any cleaner :) Lastly, no more free pizza from the GM as all the other reviews says haha. We asked about it and they said this was offer during pre covid. Just to manage expectations :)

I was staying somewhere else in Seoul and ended up moving to this hotel after I had to extend my stay for a week. After being trapped in a corporate hotel shoebox for a week it was a joy to move to bigger/better rooms with windows that open. The staff were super accommodating and (unlike the other hotel I stayed at) speak perfect English. The building is a bit quirky, in a good way, and the lobby is plastered with photos and letters from appreciative guests. It feels a bit like a cross between a hotel (hotel amenities) and a friendly B&B (atmosphere). It really is a gem. The location is also really great. I had initially wanted to stay somewhere more central, but this is better. The surrounding streets are full of restaurants and bars and it's very lively in the evenings (and full of young people, perhaps because it is so close to two universities). It has the same kind of street food stalls as other busy areas, a fresh food market nearby, all the amenities you could ask for. The metro station around the corner is very convenient for access both to the centre of Seoul and to multiple trailheads in in Bukhansan National Park. It is less touristy than some other places and for a tourist that is both a pro and a con -- no tourist-trap prices but also don't expect, say, the English/Chinese/Japanese menus you will see in Insa-dong and Myeong-dong. The breakfast was simple but good. I really liked this place and would absolutely stay here again.

This is our 2nd time staying at DH Naissance. Kids love the bubble bath. Spacious and clean rooms with all basic things one needs: airco, fridge and wifi. Room amenities, clean towels and waterbottles are provided daily. Regarding the location, convenience stores and many other shops plus eateries, and subway station are within a few minutes walking distance. Nearest 24/7 affordable laundry self service is just 3 minutes away, evenings may be quite crowded, but if you go early mornings there is hardly any waiting time. Usage of washing machines on hotel premise is limited depending on card key availability, so if you want to save your precious time and don't wanna wait go to the self service shop just around the corner of Sungshin women's university. The guy at the reception was so kind to let us check in earlier than 4 pm as the rooms were already available and cleaned - free of charge.

Airconditioning can be unexpectedly and extremely noisy. Although clearly stated not to take any breakfast food items out of the dining room, during our 10 day stay we frequently saw this rule being broken by other guests. Also food waste is not uncommon. Would be good to enforce the rules set by the hotel.

Great location just 2 minutes walk to metro station. friendly staff, decent sized room for Seoul, and decent sized towels for showering. Complimentary water in the fridge was nice. lots of dining convenience options less than a minute away.

Only one elevator and no stair access for guests means long waits to your room…one day we had ten people in front of us waiting for the elevator. No stair access also is a safety concern for us. This alone would be our reason not to return; when got back after a day exploring, waiting over 5 minutes or longer for the elevator was frustrating, as we would have preferred to take stairs at that point. The bathrooms had no outlet or exhaust fan, making the rooms very humid after showering, and needing to use the outlets in the sleeping area for blow dryers and such. the humidity issue was a bigger issue, as they had a power strip near the fridge was could stretch out to be able to see the mirror.

The staff was friendly and allowed early check-in. The very best thing, the location! It is very convenience and vibrant neighbourhood itself, very near to Nice restaurants, convenient stores and sub-way station. We can still have midnight shopping and supper after back to the hotel. The subway station also just few stop away from most of the must go place like Dongdaemun, Gyeongbokgung, Hongdae, Miengdong. It is really convenient.

The room was cozy but unfortunately, our room has only a small window that facing opposite buildings wall, no view....

This is our second stay and this time with a bigger group. love the area, as there are many shopping stores, restaurants and cafes nearby. myeongdong is just a train ride. everything is acessible. the staff are okay, the room is always cleaned. there is no laundry service, but we are able to look for one outside. its several meters walk. just use google and u’ll find one. the usb plugs in our room our not working, but no worries as we have our own plugs to use though a bit disappointing but yeah its just okay, nothing too troublesome. love how they have an LG Styler clothe steamer in our room.. we always use it really appreciate having one in the room.

The hotel is located just 2 mins away from Sungshin Women's University Station Line 4 (walking). Location is very accessible! There are many restaurants next to and around the hotel area such as Korean BBQ, fried chicken and other local Korean restaurants. There are 2 small convenient stores as well that are open 24 hrs where you can buy snacks and drinks. The hotel roon was big enough as well as their toilet. They have a bath tub and a separate shower area, toilet and sink. The floor is heated, they have air conditioner and room heater too. The staff were very helpful from the day we arrived up to the day we left. They arranged our pick up transpo from the airport and going back with an extra fee which is reasonable. They speak English fluently that made it easier for us to communicate with them.

They do not provide breakfast due to Covid 19 so it was pretty challenging for us to find breakfast as most food shops around open at 11am or 12 noon. We had to buy food in the evening for the kids to eat the morning. (We are breakfast lovers so it was sort of a big deal) The rooms were dusty especially the bed head board part as the housekeeper would just normally change sheets every other day and get your trash so we had to wipe then ourselves as my kids are allergic to dust. They have a shared microwave located at the lobby which is good for reheating your food however, it gets very filthy as many people use it and they dont really clean up the food spills. It would be really nice if they have a staff to clean or at least wipe it regularly.

We booked a Duplex Family Room Breakfast Included. There is one one single bed downstairs, another one + a queen bed upstairs. The hotel is very well located, very close to subway station Sunghshin Women's University (exit 1 or 2). There are 2 buildings. The main one where you access to the breakfast (2nd floor), and the other one where we stayed just next to the main one (our room was on the 9th floor) You can find many restaurants around, if you want to stay in the neighborhood.

Our neigbours were noisy. We had to call the reception. In the main room, we have to be very careful of the stairs (see the picture). The free toileteries llok like individual samples.

The staff is super friendly and kind. We tried the manager's free tour and that was amazing. Got to see a lot of the hidden parts of Seoul. The breakfast was simple and not traditional Korean or American but still tasty. Tried the hotel's lasagna, it was good but as an American I would have liked a little extra salt lol. The bread was amazing.

Some of the outlets in the room did not work. I thought the hotel room I selected came with a bigger jacuzzi. Not sure if I didn't look at the pictures well or if it was misleading but our jacuzzi was still nice.

Hotel staff was very helpful and kind, besides with very good English still. Plenty of selection of restaurants around and used by many local people. Hotel breakfast main dish changed every day so it was nice for a several days stay.
