Their Check-in and out process is very straight forward and the staff let us check in early - they also have luggage storage which was very useful. The biggest positive for me was the amazing location. The property is a 30 second walk from Euljiro-4 (exit 3), and in a more quiet area - good for sleeping. It’s even in walking distance to Myeongdong (15-20mins) if you don’t want to take the Metro. There is a microwave and fridge on site (not in room - communal). There is also a Laundry place about a 10min walk away. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful - giving us some good tips on places to visit and getting around Seoul. They have advertisements for tours to the DMZ and other attractions in the city - they can help you organise these. The city itself is so exciting that we didn’t stay in the room for much more than a shower in morning and a bed at night and this place does that well for a very good price that is hard to find elsewhere for such a excellent location.

The mattress on the bed is quite hard - fine for a couple nights of sleep. The comfort level is as expected for what you’re paying.

The room is just like the pictures. We stayed in January for which it was very cold outside but the room had a good heater and it keep us very warm and cozy, the staff was helpful and nice and let us use the laundry room many times, they provided clean towels for you to pick up. The location is good since you have the Line 2 and 5 just in the corner of the guesthouse and is very convenient to move around Seoul, there is also a convenience store across the street.

The facilities are a bit old but I don’t think is a dealbreaker, overall the experience in the guesthouse is good!

Started with Mr. Jun greeting me at the counter at check in time (15:00) and helped carry my bags up to my room, he was very courteous and professional 💯 The room was sound proofed so I slept extremely well, the hotel provides clean daily laundered shower towels and I liked that the private bathroom was ensuite which was quite spacious and came with a tub 😍 both hotel slippers and shower slippers were provided along with shampoo, body wash and even bar soap. The mattress was firm and comfortable, the ambiance of the room itself was fun and funky, clean lay out and quaint yet somehow spacious and fun at the same time. I have already rebooked for my last few days in Seoul. The location is a couple blocks south of 2 (of the 5) great palaces of Seoul, half a mile east of Insadong (big party area) and a mile north of Myeongdong Street/Myeongdong night market. Busses, subway station and many food establishments just steps away. It is an older part of the city but the hotel has been very well kept and modernized (tv allows you to watch all sorts of movies, Netflix, ect, and wifi is fast and room/floor specific. A.C worked like a dream. I would say I'm a pretty fair but sometimes overly critical critic.... There are certain things I absolutely MUST have and Hipzy guest house checked ALL my boxes. ✅Cleanliness/Amenities ✅ Privacy/Noise ✅SPACE/Comfort

I didn't like that I liked it so much, 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 I tried to extend my stay but unfortunately it was pre booked out one day, so I had to check out for that day before returning for the last week of my visit in Seoul. 💯

Great location in the heart of the city. just few minutes walk from Euljiro 4(sa)ga Metro station. The staff named Jun was very helpful in doing the arrangements and contactable thru whatsapp. They let us keep bags and go till checkin time. Rooms are comfortable and the bathroom was great and they give unlimited towels. Floor heating was available. Good value for money. highly recommended for travelers.

Wish the towels given were large sized ones.

Fantastic location - walking distance to many famous sites around Seoul and also super close to the 2 and 5 metro lines and not too far from the 3 line either, making getting around super easy! Fairly well equipped - the kitchen has everything necessary to prepare meals yourself. Lots of electrical outlets in the rooms for charging, AC and floor heating and plenty of towels as needed. Nice staff - the member of staff we met was nice and spoke English well. He did his best to accommodate our requests and was quick to help out where possible.

Comfort - the beds are fairly “traditional”. In Korea this means rock solid mattress and small duvet. As a European this led to some poor rest over our stay but this is standard across guesthouses in Korea and isn’t just related to this accommodation. Facilities - unfortunately no iron or steamer. The iron couldn’t be purchased on grounds of fire safety apparently. Each floor is also used as a storage facility for old boxes and seemingly broken appliances - this means the mirrors in the hallways aren’t very usable. These are rather smaller issues though that didn’t impact our stay much.

The staff Mr Jun was very accommodating and provided fast response whenever we asked for help. We were allowed to leave our luggage after check-out so that we could spend more time in the city before our flight. We will surely come again to Korea and pick this place

we washed our hair frequently as the shampoo and the conditioner were so good :)

The staff were so helpful to everyone. Didn't need to use them myself but saw them doing lots for others. Great location, metro on your doorstep with a nice food market across the road. There was a great industrial area behind in the backstreets with loads of traditional metal working literally on the street.

Only thing I could say was that it's not the ritz but it doesn't claim to be. Great value for money to get you right in a great location if you don't mind a basic room.

Manager Jun is extremely helpful and easy to contact. The location is a quick 2 minutes from subway. Kitchen / eating area is convenient. Filter water for refilling portable containers! Heated floors and mini fridge in room!

The facility, in general, can use a deep cleaning.

The place is well placed near metro station, the area is not the best in terms of cleanliness but is near palaces and the central part os seoul. The room was good and the beds where comfortable, there is a small shared kitchen. The host were of help and answered quickly.

There is no elevator so if you have heavy luggage it can be a bit problematic. The bathroom was mostly clean except for one soap that had hair in it.

Location is very accessible. It is few minutes walk from the station. You get what you paid for. The staff is accommodating as well.

There is no elevator, if you are bringing big and heavy luggages, you will have a hard time carrying it. There is a towel shortage, in our entire stay (5 days 4 nights) we only got 2 small towels (face towel size) and we were only able to get it twice. Usually, there is no available towel.
