I had a really pleasant stay at Soo Guesthouse. The hosts are really kind and friendly as they try to make you feel comfortable. The room I had was really nice, with a clean bathroom and a bedroom with a TV and air conditioning which is a must in summer. Plus, it’s really well situated, in Myeondong but not in a crowded area which is nice since it’s quieter and more comfortable at night. The subway is 5 minutes away so it’s really nice every time you need to move around Seoul. I would recommend this guesthouse a 100% and will definitely come back next time I’ll visit Seoul.

The two sisters are very friendly and welcoming. Lady Koukou was very careful with me so that I didn't miss anything. I was out for 2 days to visit Sokcho and she kept my luggage, offered me a banana and upon my return she was waiting for me with the room with the air conditioning on and my luggage brought to the room. All day long, she cleaned up the places and looked for everything. A real Guesthouse ! P.s. For Europeans used to the western hotel and breakfast style, they might not be enthusiastic. I have traveled a lot in Asia and see things a little differently, so I knew how to appreciate this host. 감사합니다 !

Nothing, taking into account the price !

Momo and Gugu were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. They also kept the place meticulously clean. The place was spotless. The location cannot be beat, being just across the road from Myeongdong Main Street. Close enough for convenience but far enough that you’re away from the noise and bustle. There’s multiple restaurants and convenience stores on their doorstep. Myeongdong metro station is only a few minutes walk away. Could not recommend this place enough!!!

The room isn’t massive, but likely wouldn’t be an issue if you’re like us and were out all day shopping and sightseeing.

I really recommend staying here specifically if you are a solo traveler. It was in a great location and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything

Friendly owners who give you instructions upon arrival. The owners do live on site but your basically left to your own devices. There is no reception. To me it was more like at staycation than a guest house. My single room was small but adequate. Clean throughout. Aircon, fridge & TV worked fine. The bed had clean linens & doona cover. The bathroom was a wet room but slippers are provided. Excellent hot water & water pressure. A unique accessory is the bath towels are small. You placed your used towel(s) in a basket at the kitchen & take fresh ones. I found out later that many hotels around Korea have small towels. Breakfast is self service. Eggs you cook yourself, bread to toast, orange juice & milk. You have to clean after yourself. Overall, given the expensive cost of accommodation in Seoul this offers good value in a quiet location & only a short walk to the subway.

Not the easiest to find given the shortfalls of Gmaps & Naver.

The hosts are two sisters who run the guest house. Although small, the rooms are homely and immaculate, and having access to a kitchen and dining area is amazing. We were looked after so well, they even did our washing! Breakfast was simpleand much appreciated. We loved exploring Seoul from the convenient central location. It could be tricky to find but the hosts provide excellent youtube videos explaining how to get there. Than

The room was too hot for us and we weren’t allowed to change the thermostat. This was not unique to this guest house however, we encountered the same throughout Korea so I think it is general practice to have the insides of houses well heated. Otherwise I could not fault them. Thank you!

This is a nice, cozy apartment at a great location with a lovely host. We felt welcomed from the "get-go", and enjoyed our stay. While we had our private bathroom, there was an open kitchen for all booked guests. Breakfast was also provided there. The apartment is just a good 5-minute walk away from the subway station, and around 7 from lively streets where you can go shopping, eating, celebrating. Perfect apartment for people, who are looking to explore Seoul, starting from a central location.

The room felt a bit on the small side and the door towards the floor is not very noise-restricting. While the bathroom - or the room in general - was quite clean, you could see that the apartment is already in use for quite a while.

Oh God! This was an amazing experience, indeed it was great! The location: super amazing. A five minute walk from myeongdong subway station, which was quite convenient, because it is super central. This is the station with the gorgeous night food market. It was also super practical to go to the airport early morning. I could only have breakfast one morning, as the other ones I had to leave before seven o’clock in the morning. But that was tasty and handy (you prepare your own food - I liked the idea!). The sisters who run the place: they are amazing, organised, funny and super cool! On my last day, they gave me a couple of Korean CDs, which I really, really liked. All in all: a superb experience!

Breakfast is great. Staff are nice and friendly. They are also fangirls themselves and loves to interact with their guests. Accessible to the metro.

I was not told which road to access going there. Because it was raining, Uber dropped me off at an area that is a bit far from where the guest house is. I mean it was the other upper side of where the guest house is. It would have been better if I was told the exact direction coming from the subway. It would have been more convenient that way.

Location, staff, flexibility. The owners were super kind, they opened the door despite I arrive late at night and let me storage my luggage and charge my phone after check out. Location is perfect just next to the commercial area and easy access to all touristic places and monuments to visit. For tours also the metro station of Myendong is a typical point of pickup.

Even thought location is amazing … it is a little bit tricky to find. I think puting as a reference the street where it is the Pacific Hotel or Seoul sign may help to find it easily. Also shower is not defined but not bothering at all you just need to make sure to leave your clothes out to avoid them to get wet. It would e nice if they can put a curtain to separate the toilet and to have a dry space. But shower pressure and temperature are good.
