The location was excellent for exploring western Andalucia. The staff, although none spoke English, were very helpful and friendly. The Spanish ambience. Local people used El Cortijo.

Only very minor things, like my door handle was broken. Didn’t matter as the key ooened the door.

Perfect place to stay for a night or 2. The cutest restaurant and makes one feel very local. Definitely need a car or bus to get there but it's worth it.

There were some issues with the wifi in our room but I think it's temporary. We used the wifi at the restaurant and had no issues

the building was an authentic andalucian courtyard we had a lovely view from our room across the hills the staff were very helpful and courteous and the resaurant was extremely popular with the spanish

might be tricky ordering breakfast if you didnt speak much spanish but the waiter would be very helpful and understanding and I am sure you would manage fine

Comfortable room with lovely view of garden, mountains and horses next door. Traditional inn is lively with good food. Staff are nice but busy! Great place to go hiking up mountains from.

Lovely view from the room. Very authentic Spanish hotel. Great restaurant - very reasonably priced. Delicious secreto iberico! Will definitely return.

A little hard to find as the sign has worn out! But well worth it when you do find it!

We had our meal later in the day as we arrived when it was very busy and with the flies outside didn't fancy sitting there. We have been to the restaurant many times at lunchtime when we have been in that part of Spain and it has always been delicious and got there earlier so that we could get a good table. This time we went to eat at about 6pm and it was not nearly as nice and seemed expensive. Our fault for not eating at lunchtime I suppose!!

Amazing food and for the money the room aswell! Don't let its hostal name put you off :-)

I guess it could be more modern but that really didn't bother me!

The internet initially. However when we mentioned this, the manager had a different room prepared for us as quickly as possible.

A very economical option. Cleaned every day, Close to town for food (3 min drive) . Ideal if you fly all day and come back to sleep. In general the region is very inexpensive, if you come for paragliding you will find what you are looking for

Don't expect much, but for its 30 Euros it's superb. It's quite cold in winter, heated only by air conditioning. Had to buy another cushion, they are very high for my taste. IMPORTANT: DO NOT leave your key in your room if you check out early in the morning. I did and had to get out via the emergency exit (covered in cleaning supplies) as the exit door was suddenly closed.

Pretty well everything. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The attached restaurant provided good food at reasonable prices.

I couldn't get WiFi in my room. However, it was available in the main building/ restaurant.
