The hotel is very beautiful, it is well located, in a quiet zone. The breakfast is amazing, very high quality, I don't remember another breakfast like that.

We paid about €280 per night but if you ask for coffee for the coffee machine in your room, you have to pay for that, € 1 per capsule, it is ridiculous and totally outrageous. If they want to be paid for that, they should includ some capsules in the price of the room. It is the same to pay €280 or €282 per night. I couldn't believe when I asked to the receptionist to send me 4 capsules and she responded the price was € 4.-

Very spacious, very clean and modern. The rooms had nothing to complain about.

It was so loud. The first night we were so confused because we woke up in the middle of the night and it sounded like someone was opening and closing the world’s largest metal microwave over and over and over again. The next day when I heard the same thing I went to go investigate and came to find it was just the sound of the room and elevator doors opening and closing and echoing up the stairwell. It’s unfortunate because everything else about the hotel was awesome but my sleep was ruined.

Every staff member was friendly and eager to help us any way they could. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The hotel is within a minute’s walk of both train and bus connections. There are many restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops nearby. It is a bit outside the main tourist areas which was wonderful. The bed was very comfy.

Our room on the ground floor was a bit dark, but otherwise quite comfortable.

Very spacious room with super king size bed,sofa bed,mini fridge and cofee machine and tea. Cleaning was done every day,everything was spotless. Great location,few meters away from bus station and underground. Many bakery shops and coffee shops open from early morning until late night. Plenty bars and restaurants in the area. Walking distance 30 mins to Parc Guel and 40 mins to Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlo &Casa Mila 30 mins walking distance from hotel. One way bus tiket €2.55 or €15 unlimited public transport for 48h. Higly recommended,worth the value of money!

Staff were very helpful and provided us with places to eat if we wanted. Location was fantastic, roughly 15-20 minutes drive to everything. They had dairy and gluten free options for breakfast which was great for allergens

It was a rather noisy building but from other individuals in the building. A little more variety for breakfast would have been good but no complaints with it.

We enjoy our stay at Atenea Rekord. Since we came, the reception is very nice and friendly. The room is big enough for 3 adults and a crib. The bed is wider than expected and sofabed is comfortable. The breakfast is basic but place is clean and the lady there is lovely. Location is not too far from tourist place but far enough that its quiet. Definitely a good place to stay.

Maybe the elevator being small but i think its all around here in Spain

It was not a noisy neighborhood. Appropriate soundproofing, rarely heard people from other rooms. Cleaning service every day. Good breakfast with very kind staff lady taking care of everything. Kind and helpful staff.

The comfort of the bed was not on par with the rest. There could be better amenities, refreshed regularly without asking.

Hotel is located in nice residential area - we were there during Easter holidays so Barcelona was less crowded than usual - streets were unusually quiet so I cannot tell if you can hear the traffic in usual circumstances. Room is large, clean and well maintained. Hotel offers breakfast, but we did not use it. There is a grocery shop just around the corner, bakery across the street and a garage in the next street (pricy though but if you cannot find a place on the street it is an solution). Metro station is some 2 minutes walk from the hotel. You can reach some touristic spots (Casa Mila) on foot but it is some 20 min stroll.

Door lock was broken and it was not possible to lock the room from inside - not a big deal as hotel is safe and entrance is monitored 24h.

The location was great. Just in front of Metro station, or approx 25 min by walk to Placa de Catalunya. The room and bathroom were spacious. At the arrival, we got a room in a basement and asked to exchange it to a floor up and the staff fullfilled our request without any extra charge.

We have been explained that A/C works now only for heating, no cooling, because of weather in May, which wasn’t enough warm. We tried to sleep with open window, but it waa to noisy. It was pretty hot and lack of air without A/C.

It is the second time we come here and I would gladly choose this hotel next time as well. Nice staff, comfortable rooms and bed, room equiped with all you need. Very good breakfast. Close to public tranport, shops and restaurants.
