We absolutely loved this apartment during our stay in Barcelona. If we were to return to the city, we would book here again without hesitation. The location was incredibly convenient and the area was very safe and walkable. We walked multiple times to the Sagrada Familia and made our way on foot to the gothic quarter as well. In all instances, we felt safe when walking. We also enjoyed the holiday lights and window displays along the main shopping area just down the street. It wasn’t until our last night that we walked the opposite direction and found a wonderful grocery with fresh produce and plenty of other food options that would’ve been great to know about at the start of the visit. We appreciated having a staff person in the office to assist with questions and to provide recommendations for restaurants upon our arrival. We were a family of 4 with two young adult sons. We were assigned to unit 103, which had one bedroom with 2 twin beds that they shared. We enjoyed the master suite that overlooked the back terrace. The unit was spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was quiet, making restful sleep easy. While the kitchen area is very small, it was well appointed with everything we needed for the stay, including a full-size refrigerator and freezer. While there were coffee supplies in the room, there was also the option to go to the reception area when it opened and enjoy a coffee with freshly ground beans in the machine in the lobby area. One thing for guests to note: the washer/dryer in the unit does not actually dry clothing. As explained to us, the dryer setting tosses the clothing with cool air only. However, there is a large, fold-away drying rack provided in one of the closets and the apartment is large enough for it to be used without restricting the flow of traffic through the unit. If you are planning to do laundry, please plan accordingly for drying time. If you are considering a stay in Barcelona, I highly recommend Be Mate.

The location was perfect and central to be able to walk to different tourist attractions, yet still felt like we were in the heart of the city. Great location for restaurants. The apartment itself was clean and exactly what we needed. It was quiet and the air conditioning was great for the hot summer days. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially after the long travel days with a baby.

The location is great. It is nearby some most popular attractions and within walking distance. The room we booked is quite big for us 3 people (2 adult and 1 kid). The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. There are some supermarkets nearby so we can buy almost anything to cook ourselves with a relatively low cost. On top of that, the reception is super friendly and with passion. We got a warm welcome and immediate supports when needed.

Not sure is because of the Metro or the construction nearby, we can feel the room shaking from time to time, but not serious. The faucet at the sink is difficult to adjust the water flow, and the shower door cannot be fully closed.

The apartment is very clean and even better than the pictures. The bed is super comfortable, and everything was perfect , I highly recommend it! The location is excellent and in a safe area. Thank you for making our stay in Barcelona wonderful!

One thing we didn’t know, and it left us a bit confused, is that they only provide free room cleaning if you stay more than 5 nights. Otherwise, you have to pay €55 per cleaning. They do, however, change the towels for free.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Be Mate Paseo de Gracia, and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. Yasmin was also helpful and showing us the map of the city and recommended some good restaurants around the city. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the park. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep and the cleaners make our rooms clean everyday! Overall 10/10!!!

The location as well as the apartment-style room was excellent for my short vacation to Barcelona. Very luxurious feeling. I had friends over and we cooked dinner as well! The reception desk staff was very friendly and able to help with giving tips on what to do in the city.

I was checking out the regular room and the apartment. While reviewing the regular room, the AC was not running at the time and was a little smaller than expected. Nevertheless, I upgraded to the apartment because I wanted to have friends over. The shower was a tiny bit tricky to use and would flood if I stayed for too long but apart from that it was fine.

Be Mate is secure and with friendly staff at checkin! The property is located conveniently at the end of Passeig de Gracia, the shopping district - and host to a number of restos and where the Gaudi Houses are located. The property is well equiped.

Condiments like coffee, sugar, creamer; laundry and dish washer soaps were very limited - so i would suggest consider buying on your own if you are a group of morning coffee drinkers like ours. Some fixtures need love touches - like knobs on the overhead showers, blinds, which do not function very well. I think the shampoo from the refillable dispenser is diluted with water. I would also prefer hotels/accoms to be well lit.

Beautifully decorated apartment, great location, clean and the entrance code and key were very straightforward. The staff is also very responsive and friendly on WhatsApp.

I find it a bit overpriced, we stayed on a similar property in the same area for cheaper, I couldn’t justify the hike in price. Also there’s a strange muffled vibrating sound that you can hear regularly (train? Metro?). If you sleep soundly you might not hear it, but if your sleep is light, it’s annoying.

great location and relatively quiet considering.. great terrace and rooftop and the staff is very helpful, welcoming and bending backwards to make our stay memorable. we arrived at 1 pm, before the 3 pm checking time, but the apartment was ready so we were able to enter it right away, yay.

the coffee machine was not functioning, but problem was solved when I mentioned it to the staff. Then I had trouble with the washing machine; it was taken care of within the hour! so, great staff. thank you all.

Very spacious, great location, clean, good facilities - perfect for family of four

Check in arrangements were a little stressful as we were arriving after 6pm when reception was closed. The online check in was more complex and lengthy than it needed to be - and for some reason it incorrectly said that we had two babies in our party which made it really hard to complete the process. Once we managed to do the online check in, everything else was fine - we received good instructions on how to access the building and apartment via WhatsApp.
