The most amazing thing about this hostel is the vibe, you just instantly love the atmosphere when you arrive and all throughout your stay! All the people that work there are extremely kind, friendly, professional and helpful. This hostel TRULY exceeded my expectations, I usually stay in nice 4-5 star hotels and have only experienced staying in 3 hostels total in my life, but this hostel was truly up there for me in terms of all standards! What was extremely impressive for me, was the fact that everyone that stays there downloads a 'Goki' app and from there you can open the front door of the hostel and the door to your room, like how you'd set up a remote control on your mobile phone that connects to your smart tv! I just think, how cool and convenient is that! On the app, you have options to extend your stay, get the address of the hostel should you need it, and also you can contact the concierge downstairs. Like honestly convenience and comfort is top class when you travel, and I was very surprised that a hostel offers such a thing! I was literally in bed around midnight when I messaged Pavel who was downstairs working the nightshift at the front desk of the hotel, and I just said how cold/noisy it was in my room and he immediately responded and turned off the ventilation system and the noise stopped and i was able to sleep! I've stayed in 5 start hotels in dubai and not received such convenience and personal customer service like this to the point where i am so impressed and happy to be staying somewhere. Jacobs Inn Barcelona was truly a fantastic experience for me! BEDS ARE MEGA COMFY OMG! LOVE the curtains on the beds too, gr8 for privacy! I also LOVE the layout of the hostel, honestly i can rave about my stay forever haha!

I know that they are a sustainable hostel but it's just annoying to have to keep pressing the taps in the rest rooms for the water to come out very 10 seconds, same goes for the showers. Maybe if the showers ran for x2 longer than the current time limit that would be a big improvement because when you are washing yourself and shampooing your hair it's just an inconvenience to always have to press a button for the water to be constantly running. Other than this, no issues!

Everything was great. My friend and I stayed in the six-bed female room, which was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the curtain provided privacy. The ventilation system is excellent. The bathrooms were clean and toilet paper and soap were always available. The showers are also clean, and we never had to wait for a shower or hair dryer even though the hostel was full. The location is also fantastic because the beach is only a few minutes' walk away, the metro station is also close and the main attractions can be reached on foot, which is even more interesting for getting to know the city. The staff was accommodating, they kindly answered every question and everyone was great to me, especially Lucio (sorry if I spelled the name wrong :) ) and Margarida. I would definitely come back again.

Really close to the beach, you can basically get all you need around the neighborhood, café, bar, supermarket, restaurant etc. 8 mins walk to the Metro. The room is nice and comfortable, you won’t make a lot of noise when you open/ close the door because it has buffers, little detail make big difference! Common areas are quite chill, best kitchen experience ever, good facilities, all kinds of kitchenware, a lot space and always clean :)

My 1st time solo, staying in a hostel but was there for IBJJF European championship so felt it was the best time (May 2025). The room was great, everything i expected. Very comfortable with the curtains on the beds so it gave privacy. Great facilities to cook or prepare your own food and all the services you would need, including laundry, immaculate showers, seating areas and outdoor space. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach and good bars, shops and restaurants around the area. Overall really enjoyed it and I was very comfortable staying there.

Clean, big kitchen with a lot of pots/pans/utensils, nice bunks with lockable drawers. Good breakfast buffet. Amazing people to meet there. Very close to the beach and the metro station. Great choice for budget and solo travelers!

There were no physical keycards - everything happened in the app GOKI which always made me stressed that my phone would die. There are codes provided tho if you would prefer that!!

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel — and what truly made the difference was the incredible team that runs the place. Nacho, Aitz, and Mariano at reception were always welcoming and incredibly helpful — they really make you feel like part of the family. I had a small issue with my locker, and Alejo from maintenance took care and fixed it right away. Everyone works together and creates such a warm, friendly atmosphere. You're not treated like just another guest — they truly make you feel at home. The hostel is recently renovated with top-notch facilities. The beds are super comfy, the lounge is perfect for relaxing or meeting new people, and it’s just a short walk from the beach. I ended up extending my stay because I felt so comfortable and cared for. I’ll definitely be back!

The breakfast 3 woman crew of Patricia, & Demaris were fantastic. They, along with Liz at the front did a great job of being friendly (all other staff seemed the opposite of cheerful) The location is quieter & closer to the less touristy beach & area of town Facilities were clean and well maintained

The vibe cultivated by the rest staff is much more keep to yourself and avoid eye contact/greetings. This is fine in general but seems odd for a hostel setting Also I mistakenly booked 11 nights when I really needed 10. Manager refused to allow me to cancel 1 night despite the reservation being a month later and requesting within 2 days of original booking. Again, in a backpacker centric hostel I would expect more of an effort to help guests with similar circumstances rather than penalizing them All in all, it would be a place I would return to but a little more friendly and helpful environment would make it all the better

The main advantage of this hostel is its location. If you love the beach and plan to spend most of your time there, this place is perfect for you. There's a spacious lounge area where you can relax or take care of personal tasks, and the kitchen is also large and well-equipped for cooking. There are big refrigerators available, so storing your food is no problem. The location is also conveniently close to Aldi, with plenty of bars, cafés, and restaurants nearby. There are enough toilets and showers to accommodate guests without long waits, and there's even a balcony where you can unwind or smoke.

The personnel were so cool and helpful The bed was enough, but specially the Cabinet for the luggage was a life saver The ground (first) floor was cool, I really like the places for work, you can charge your computer while working which is fantastic

The distance between the beds

Everything was great! The curtains make it so much more comfortable, there’s light and sockets by the bed, super convenient 🙌🏻 You don’t really hear others because of the way the beds are arranged. I had a window right in front of my bed and a wall to the left, so it felt really private. In two days, I only ran into two people from the whole room. The showers were also comfortable and clean) The metro is about an 8-minute walk away)

The breakfast was just okay, I came right when it started, but the bread was already stale, things didn’t feel very fresh, and some dishes weren’t clean. Still, you can find something to eat. Also, there’s street construction going on right outside the entrance, so it’s a bit inconvenient and doesn’t look great , but that’s not really the hostel’s fault 👌
