We choose to stay here every time in Barcelona. It is in the trendy neighbourhood of Poblenou with enough to do at night to match the city centre and a 10 min walk to Bogatell beach. Llacuna metro is a 5 minute walk away. Rooms are basic but are super clean and comfy. Staff are friendly and the reception is well laid out. Facilities including the bar and snack bar are handy too. Look forward to our next stay.

Note that there is construction work going on literally next door to the hotel so don't expect a good view! During the weekends and holidays, there is no work activity happening so no disruptions however during the weekdays, there was some construction noise from about 8am. As at January 2024, the building work looks far from complete so this may be ongoing into 2024 - could be worth checking beforehand.

Great location - short walk to beach and metro. Considering the hotel was fully booked it was very quiet, minimal noise from other guests. Good breakfast selection and no queues for breakfast. Staff very friendly. We would definitely stop at this hotel again.

Should let people know when checking in at reception that tea and coffee / kettle tray and hairdryer needed to be requested they are not supplied in room unless you ask for them. This isn’t a complaint, a suggestion of what could be better.

It had everything we needed so we were happy. Decent breakfast, clean rooms and lobby. We were also offered locked space to leave our luggage before our flight after we checked out which was great. Close to metro and close to the beach. If you need a hotel for sleeping, eating breakfast and leaving for the day it's a great chocie. Several markets close by.

The area around the hotel wasn't very nice. Lots of homeless people and stinks, we didn't really try any food close to the hotel for those reasons so can't say if there's anything good. Small minus for no butter at breakfast.

Simpel but good breakfast. Rooms that are in every Travelodge (and I have been in many all over the world). Reasonably quiet (except for the cleaners in the morning who shout and slam doors that woke me up every morning early. After I had a chat about that to one of the cleaners she was very apologetic and it was quieter after that) Great location. Poblanou is a great location with great restaurants, ice cream parlours, bakeries, and near the beach. I had convention partly in town and partly in the forum and it was easy to take the metro or walk.

Maybe the airco, that I couldn't seem to get working properly... I think it's all on automatic... And I think the price is very high. But this is all over Barcelona nowadays. It's gone up more than 100% since my last stay 7 years ago which was pretty surprising! But still: 290 euro per night is a lot for 1 person in a room for 5 days...

The location was near the sea and also close to the metro station. It was a good experience overall.

There are no rooms with balcony. You have to go in front of the hotel/on the terrace in order to smoke.

This is a very good price per value hotel. The location id perfect, 12 minutes walk from the beach, 5 minutes walk from the metro station and multiple buses stops just at the hotel. In the street behind there is the Rambla del Poblenou with many shops, restaurants and cafes, but the hotel itself is quiet. The room itself was quite spacious, we had a small fridge and a big TV. The breakfast was good with hot meals ( scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, mushroom ), and the usual toast ham, salami, vegetables and pastries). It was wort the money.

We have found hairs in both in the bathroom and in the beds so the cleaning was not perfect. There was no wardrobe in the room, just 5 hangers and 1 shelf on the wall for the clothes. There is no free wifi in the room, only if you pay some extra for it.

The hotel is a standard travelodge in a quiet street near to the underground and public transport. It is situated right near to a main shopping area with lots of bars, cafes and shops but there was no noise from there at all, and if you walked to the end of the shopping area you were right on the beach, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. As stated there is easy access to all public transport to take you into Barcelona but also if you felt up to it, the main city centre was only about a 30 - 45 minutes walk. The rooms were standard rooms with all amenities provided, and clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was very good and plentiful and certainly sustained you for the day. All in all a very nice place to stay which i would recommend if you want to be just outside the centre but in a main popular area

We had no complaints at all

Very basic but very comfortable with a fridge and a spotlessly clean bathroom , although on the small side was more than adequate, location of the hotel more than makes up. Everything is on the doorstep, supermarkets, nice restaurants as well the beach just 15 minutes walk away. Amazing Italian ice cream shop nearby as well. We were staying for a night to catch a morning flight post cruise and uber fares from cruise terminal and then onto the airport next day were £14 and £19.40 at time of writing. There was no real need to get a travel card as everything we needed could be found in the "rambla" just round the corner. Would i stay again, would be on my list for a night.

Being picky there wasn't a kettle or coffee facilities in the room but most folks just went to the passistrie next door or the bar downstairs.
