We choose to stay here every time in Barcelona. It is in the trendy neighbourhood of Poblenou with enough to do at night to match the city centre and a 10 min walk to Bogatell beach. Llacuna metro is a 5 minute walk away. Rooms are basic but are super clean and comfy. Staff are friendly and the reception is well laid out. Facilities including the bar and snack bar are handy too. Look forward to our next stay.

Note that there is construction work going on literally next door to the hotel so don't expect a good view! During the weekends and holidays, there is no work activity happening so no disruptions however during the weekdays, there was some construction noise from about 8am. As at January 2024, the building work looks far from complete so this may be ongoing into 2024 - could be worth checking beforehand.

Great location - short walk to beach and metro. Considering the hotel was fully booked it was very quiet, minimal noise from other guests. Good breakfast selection and no queues for breakfast. Staff very friendly. We would definitely stop at this hotel again.

Should let people know when checking in at reception that tea and coffee / kettle tray and hairdryer needed to be requested they are not supplied in room unless you ask for them. This isn’t a complaint, a suggestion of what could be better.

The hotel is a standard travelodge in a quiet street near to the underground and public transport. It is situated right near to a main shopping area with lots of bars, cafes and shops but there was no noise from there at all, and if you walked to the end of the shopping area you were right on the beach, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. As stated there is easy access to all public transport to take you into Barcelona but also if you felt up to it, the main city centre was only about a 30 - 45 minutes walk. The rooms were standard rooms with all amenities provided, and clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was very good and plentiful and certainly sustained you for the day. All in all a very nice place to stay which i would recommend if you want to be just outside the centre but in a main popular area

The location was near the sea and also close to the metro station. It was a good experience overall.

There are no rooms with balcony. You have to go in front of the hotel/on the terrace in order to smoke.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location close to the beach and within walking distance of the City centre and all amenities. Poblenou has it's own Ramblas with great shops and restaurants which is just round the corner from the hotel. Great transport links into the City if you don't want to walk. Room was clean and a good size and there was nice soap/shower gel provided.

It was a bit noisy from the neighbouring rooms with people coming home late and slamming doors. Also, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which would have been useful. However, the location more than makes up for this and Poblenou itself is great.

We couldn't believe this is a one star establishment. Everything was perfect with our stay, the staff was magnificent and always welcoming you with a smile. The restaurant always had space for us during breakfast (I was worried that it looked small and was not sure there would be space for us to sit). The rooms were exceptionally clean, the location was close to everything we wanted to see via the metro station which was 10min walk away and a bus stop right in front of the door. The food was always fresh and tasty (with the exception of the scrambled eggs which were not very good). I would say the eggs were the only thing that I didn't like and with so many breakfast options it wasn't even a problem at all. Let me finish my saying that I rarely rate anything with the maximum rating because I am a strong believer that everything could be improved even further, but I need to rate this place with max! It is an amazing place to stay at if you plan to go site seeing and don't want to break the bank with hotel stays but would like to stay somewhere clean and comfortable I strongly recommend! We were there for a concert in the Razzmatazz club which was also conveniently on a 15 min walk away.

Please use fresh eggs if possible, the scrambled ones seemed to be made out of a powdered mix.

Great location and accessible for public transport and main attractions. 20 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia, it is worth it as you can see the neighbourhood plus 3 minutes to La Rambla de Poblenou where you can find great restaurants and shops. The beach is at 10 minutes walk and on the way is a children's park , if you travel with little ones . The rooms are good size , basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is almost the same each morning but with plenty of choices.

We are not fussy , so as long as everything is clean and we feel safe in that place , we cannot complain of anything.

Check-in was smooth, room was a nice size with a comfortable double bed, clean with a good bathroom and shower. Great location for the beach and shopping needs. Fast elevator. Room was quiet most of the time.

Sometimes the cleaning in the morning was noisy. Wifi wasn't always reliable but it was usable. I couldn't connect to the paid wifi service, this would probably be better added to the hotel bill before checking in. Room was sometimes a bit cold at night, no duvet in room, just a sheet and the thermostat was locked to 19-24 range. No fridge, kettle etc. Discovered on check-out that a kettle could have been requested. TV was very small, 20" or so. Didn't use the food service/breakfast, wasn't entirely clear how to use this.
