reception and rooms were very nice, bathroom was straightforward and easy to use. beds were quite comfy, not my kind of pillow, but still decent enough to sleep on. Aircondition is great, although it can get really cold at night sometimes.

unfortunately some rooms are very adjacent to each other, separated only by a locked door. on the final night of our stay, our neighbours were quite loud so it made it hard to sleep. i spoke with them to keep it down, so the issue was resolved peacefully, but it could be annoying for future customers.

I recently stayed at the NH DIAGONAL HOTEL, Barcelona. Let me start off by saying if you are looking for the Hyatt, Hilton, Four Seasons, etc…. This is not the place for you. If you are looking for a CLEAN, Economical hotel with an AMAZING Welcoming staff. You won’t find better than this. Though it is not in the city center… finding food and things to do was no problem. You are steps away from the largest Club in Barcelona… “Razz Ma Tazz. Not to mention the amazing food & Hospitality at Sonora Sport Tavern. Tell Brenda & Alicia… HELLO!!!!! Now back to the NH DIAGONAL HOTEL. The rooms are CLEAN, though there are minimal amenities…. The AMAZING Staff… including: Tim, Alvaro, Titiana, Lina, Rashid and some names I have forgotten from check in, makes up for any amenity the hotel lacks! They guided us to places to eat, how to order on Glovo, Uber eats & some of the best local eateries. They shared how to purchase unlimited transport passes, which we were able to travel to all the attractions on any mode of transportation. Even the though weren’t in City Center. We traveled EVERYWHERE. Busses and Metro were all in walking distance to this hotel… oh yes…. We will be back!!!! Very clean. Hotel does not have a lot of amenities i.e, Room Service. But loved the welcoming staff who gave GREAT recommendations! Walkability Not in City Center, but safe to walk and very close to food an nightlife activities… including an Amazing Sports Bar a

It was unfortunate that the hotel restaurant or bar was not open, however, they provided great restaurant recommendations that were in walking distance.

Location OK, not the nicest area but we quickly warmed to it and found some nice bars / restaurants nearby and settled into the area nicely. Not too far from the main city's attractions especially on the metro, where there were 2 metro lines 5 mins away from the hotel. Staff really friendly and even game some local recommendations. Also fixed the hairdryer in room very quickly when it wasn't working. Bit expensive but would definitely stay here again as it was very comfortable and pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for us - it is much calmer than other areas we stayed, it close to the sea and great cafes and vintage shops but also close to the lively streets of the centre. The breakfast was amazing and the facilities were great. The staff was kind and helpful. Would defenitely stay again!

The location was really good with different bus stops around. It was good for us to reach the city centre and to go to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Martina, even though she was checking us in in someone else’s room 😅

The room wasn’t really clean, the pillowcases were dirty and there was some hair in the shower. Also; the day before the check out, we booked a taxi for 3.30 in the morning and we specified it was for the day of the check out, but Anna booked it for the day after. Luckily I went to the reception 15 mins before and confirm the booking and the lady in the night team said that it was booked for the day after but they quickly managed to call someone that came at 3.30. So I managed to get to the airport and take my flight.

Good location near beach and near metro to get in town centre. Good beds, airco and friendly staff.

We saw a cockroach in the hallway too our room, but that's really all we can sayy. housekeeping was always super and in general we didn't have any problems on hygiene. The breakfast we found too expensive for what was offered and also in general it was expensive to stay, but of course the location is counted in to the prize, so no real problems with that.

Well placed for Primavera Sound festival , for jumping on the metro and for Poblenou restaurants and bars. Great breakfast, friendly staff and a very comfortable room and bed

Struggling to think of anything - couple of niggles like an out of order lift and they turned the water off for maintenance for a short while. It is a bit pricey too.

I've traveled with my mother here and we were more than satisfied with this hotel. The staff is very helpful and welcoming, giving us a map of the metro and info of what we must visit. The room was cleaned every day (made beds, empty trash bin, soap, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion). We ate ouside every day (2 coffee, 1 croissant, 2 sandwich, 2 orange juice- 15 eur en cafeteria 365, Granja Mabel or Granier, near Marina metro ), cause the hotel offers breakfast at 17-19 eur/pers. Marina Metro is close, 400-500m. If you want to visit Parque Guell , buy your entrance on https://parkguell.barcelona/es. Exists other websites with double prices.

Nothing bad to say! Maybe the only inconvenience, there is no shop near by to have a water, coca cola, chips, peanuts, etc.

Location - easy access to city on foot/by metro. Room was comfortable, clean, good temperate, well equipped for our needs. The view was of another building - not essential to have a nice view but not a plus either. The window opened, there was good air circulation, and also the air conditioning worked. Other hotel facilities were nice, including gym and breakfast buffet. Reception staff were very friendly. The housekeeping staff were friendly.

It would be good to have an extractor fan in the bathroom. We hung up towels so they wouldn't be changed but they were changed anyway, which is ok but not good for the environment since the sign said to do that to indicate no change required.

Very nice and comfortable hotel, large and airy rooms, clean bathroom, helpful and friendly staff, always ready to provide information, superior breakfast.

Nothing the hotel itself could help: the location, a bit far from the main touristic attractions, but still possible to do most visits on foot.
