one of the best hostel i have ever stayed. beds are wide and so comfy, curtain is so thick so u dont see any light around and feels like more private. lockers are large enough for every type of luggage. everyday they have daily trips, free dinners, drinking events, bars and clubs with free entry. staff are so lovely. location is okay. it s close to metro and bus station. there is night bus so everytime u can reach to the hostel.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and Onefam Sands in Barcelona set the bar high! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a great rooftop terrace and easily accessible showers—a huge plus. For its price, it offers incredible value. The biggest highlight, though, was the exceptional service. A special mention to Lucas at reception, who truly made my stay unforgettable. He was super friendly, always smiling, incredibly helpful—and super cute! His positive energy created such a welcoming atmosphere. During check-out, I met another receptionist, and she was also very kind and caring, taking the time to ask me about my stay. That level of attentiveness really made a difference! Unfortunately I don’t know her name to mention in here. Other great perks: strong WiFi, towel rentals, and a great social vibe. I’ll definitely be back—especially because of the outstanding service!

Great stay overall and highly recommended. Ambiance was great and friendly, from start to end. Every day cultural activities are planned in the afternoon, then dinners and/or drinks in the hostel, and afterwards going together with the party leader to a pub and club. Staff is well organized and friendly, respecting their shifts for cleaning. The hostel has 3 floors with dorms, with 1 wc and 1 shower room per each floor. Cleanliness is well maintained. Rooms are comfortable and allowing privacy. Respectful for keeping party/sleep hours. It’s really up to you how you want to make of this experience and stay!

Everything was perfect and great! Some recommendations maybe to make it even better: - Keep the pre-dorm doors closed by default, in the morning can get louder even if it is with earplugs - Consider having some activities also about basic European/Spanish culture and history, simplified, especially for those coming from outside Europe

I'll be honest, I was a bit worried abt staying in the hostel since it was my very first time. However, Onefam Sants really exceeded my expectations! The staff - especially Lucas, Yves, Carol, and Diego - was super friendly and helpful. And I mean it :) The accommodation was also comfortable for a hostel - a nice bed with the curtains, a personal light, and a shelf. Also, there are multiple activities, such as guided tours and parties with people who travel and explore Barcelona like you. A big THANK YOU to the Onefam Sants team, you really brightened my stay! I'll be back one day <3

Issues with electricity bcs of heavy rain. Other than that, everything was great.

I loved the entire experience! This is a very social hostal so it is best to book when you're looking to meet and interact with others. They have activities each day and if you're looking to go out you have free access to the clubs and even a party leader to guide you through the night. Each night you will get a free veggie meal! You will feel at home here. Shoutout to Michelle, Rafa, Mateo, Lucas, Majay, Angel and more for an amazing weekend that made me feel like family! :)

A longer stay would have been better! But I didn't have the time.

Can’t complain about anything other than the fact there is only 1 toilet/shower per floor. I was on the second floor meaning 24 people sharing one toilet/shower on a morning/evening. Sometimes you have to go hunting for a free shower/toilet across all the floors. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. It’s pretty social but there’s no pressure to participate if you don’t want to, they have a free tour every day and go out every night, there is also free dinner every day. The hostel is super super clean. The beds are comfy and the curtains mean even if the light is on you can sleep. It’s in a great location close to a few different metro stops.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The location is great—relatively close to the city center, with numerous supermarkets and cafes nearby. The hostel was clean and well-maintained. The receptionist, Ángel, was very welcoming. He explained the hostel’s rules and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hostel offers daily programs, including walking tours and party activities, providing great opportunities to socialize and meet fellow travelers. During my stay, Luiza and Yves guided us to the meeting points and made sure we were enjoying our time. Additionally, the staff serves free dinners every evening, which is a thoughtful gesture and adds to the communal atmosphere.

If you're looking for a comfortable hostel experience, Onefam Sants is a no-brainer. The location is great, just a short walk from several cozy cafés, and close to the metro. The rooms/beds are pleasant, and well-maintained. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating (shoutout to Lucas!). Optional dinners and group activities are organized every day/night, creating a welcoming atmosphere for solo travelers. Whether you’re looking to meet new people or prefer to keep to yourself, this hostel strikes a perfect balance.

I stayed in Onefam Sants 3 times over the past month (just a couple nights here and there while travelling around northern Spain), but I can safely say this is my preferred hostel whenever I'm in Barcelona. The concept of this hostel is what any hostel should be: a place where travelers can come together, have cheap lodging, and have a good time with the other travelers/staff. It's a simple formula that most hostels seem to have forgotten over the past decade, but not here!!
