Really good explanation on how to get the key when the reception is closed already, was super easy and no problems with that. The staff were very friendly. The aircon worked very well, which definitely was needed in August. Nice as well that you can always make yourself a cup of tea or coffee there :) The location is easy to reach with public transport and good to get to places in the city. To go running it's not far to the area of the olympic stadium. The neighbourhood itself has some good places for breakfast and the peruvian restaurant across the street is definitely worth visiting!

We needed to change the dates a day before the updated day, and the owners answered us quickly and assisted with the date update. We arrived very late and left early in the morning so we didn't even meet anybody from the stuff but the check-in process was very well described and there were no issues. The room was not fency at all but was just fine to stay for one/couple of nights. The location is easily reachable from the train station/airport

When we ere changing the dated we were hoping the hotel can easily do it by themselves but the could help us and said we need to call the booking. Also there is a city tax over 11 euros (2 people/1 night) which would be nice to include in the price/add a possibility to pay with card since we didn't have cash with us.

Staff were really friendly on check-in. Helpful and showed us a map of the area and how to get to the metro station and which metro line to get on to visit Sagrada familia and other sight seeing activities and told us about areas such as La Rambla to be careful. They also gave information about how to get into the hotel out of hours. The reception isn't staffed 24hours so this information was helpful. There is an out of hours access code for the reception. You have to pay a local city tax upon arrival it was just over €9 euros for 2people per night. This can be paid by cash or card. There is free tea and coffee available in reception. Reception speak English. Noise is managed well with reminders of sanctions for noise breaches. Nice clean smell on arrival into reception. Rooms were basic but had all the amenities we needed and they were clean as were the communal areas in the hotel. Reception has a range of discount cards you can take away to use across Barcelona for various tourist activities. Hotel is on a quieter street we were not disrupted at all during the evening despite Sants being a busy area for locals. Really liked the local area of Sants, we went to a restaurant called Casa Violi at the top of the street, (turn right out of the hotel) for food and drinks. The hotel is within walking distance of the metro Plaça de Sants. Definitely a more local vibe in Sants, which we enjoyed. We visited the local square which is within walking distance with good restaurants and tapas bars close by. Locals were friendly. There is also a convenience store opposite the hotel open until 11.00pm which was good for getting anything else that we needed. Would recommend and stay again.

Maybe a bigger tv in the room.

The room was like a dorm room - space used to the max, minimal furnishings, but everything one needs.Actually, I admired the use of space and the compact nature of the room and furnishings. The person who staffed the front desk during the day was friendly and helpful. She made it possible for me to do the things I wanted to do in the time I was there - much help on directions, transportation, etc..

The room was like a dorm room. I also saw no one else when I entered and left the hotel until the afternoon I left. At 4 or 5 in the afternoon, people were in the lobby.

Clean rooms, the showers were the best in all the places we stayed at in Spain, France and Italy. We needed a place to stay overnight and this hotel was perfect, the neighborhood was a little disconcerting, if you are concerned about going out at night. We heard the lady on duty explain to a young lady not to go into a particular area near the hotel because it was not safe. However, no problems during the day or in the areas we visited.

Nothing to dislike

Clean and comfortable room with air-conditioning, which was important given the temperatures in Barcelona during my stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

My only issue was the location, which was not the most accessible and caused some problems when I was leaving because the taxi couldn't find a way through to the property. For walkers, no problem, but I was hampered in this respect and so dependent upon taxis.

Clean and close to the metro station. There was a mini supermarket, Condis, right across the hotel opening 7 days a week. Love the sign of Silence. The cleaning staff was friendly too and able to keep my room clean and tidy in these 7 days.

A few broken things including the shower door (When I pulled the door, some wheels were floating in the air) and the bin pedal inside the bathroom. One male shopkeeper at the supermarket was not honest about charging more money from tourists. (I bought the same thing every day and noticed that)

Clean, convenient for the station, perfect for a short stay in Barcelona travelling by train. Seemed to be in a less touristy part of Barcelona which was lovely. We enjoyed the walk to the centre, but it took a while. Clean, simple, warm, small private balcony, large comfortable bed.

There was not a lot of space around the bed, so it was perfect and convenient for a short stay. A distance from the centre but perfect for the station. Able to hear the guest next door snoring all night

This is an ideal place to stay when alone and on business: close to public transport, plemty of restaurants in walking distance, the place is quiet, and very easy to get in and out. Check-in was a breeze. The rooms are very basic but offer everything needed for the prupose. Staff is very friendly and supportive. I can recommend and will book again on my next visit.

Can't find a fault here...

Location is perfect - near to Spain square, where airoport shuttle stops, and Metro and bus station in 5 min walk. Across the street - small supermarket with all neccesary things, in 15 min by walk - big Mercadona. We found a few places around with authentic breakfast (tortilla and sandwiches with catalan bread). Room has all needful things - comfortable bed for relaxing after a big travel day, bathroom and small patio, where you can have supermarket or delivery dinner or just dry your swim wear. Personal were extremely helpful and nice, and btw there are coffee, tea and water on the reception. So if you are planning to spend all days walking around stunning Barcelona and use room only for having shower and sleep - this hotel is perfectly for you.

Some of room parts were not new and needed to be renovated. But we were prepared for it. Be carefull with AC - we haven't found out first how to choose it properly, so my husband got cold and catch a flu, but nothing serious, just take your time to understand, or ask stuff.
