Superb location for using metro. Newly decorated rooms. Daily cleaned, staff super friendly at the reception. Accessible (yet in typical fashion a very small) elevator. Towels and soap given. Convenient stores, easy dine ins (local empanadas are fab, or coffee and more in 365)

if you are a light sleeper train noises is gonna may disturb you before they finish for the day. You can hear them at night and hear the shaking / but it didn’t bother me (similar to living near railway). Some of the decorating didn’t have practical thoughts in mind - like the light switches were too close to the pillows and can spontaneously turn on if you roll over at night. The shower head is fixed quite high with no middle ground.

We were pleasantly surprised, probably because the name Hostal suggests something less in Australia. Modern looking place with a clean and comfortable bedroom and a good bathroom. Wouldn’t want to stay in it for a week but perfectly fine for a couple of days.

Like so many Euro hotels, a kettle and tray of coffee/tea sachets just doesn’t come into their thinking.

The room was modern and well-equipped, with a powerful shower and a very comfortable bed. An extra blanket would be useful, as it was a bit cold at night. The hostel was quiet at night, though earplugs might help in the morning due to traffic noise. I stayed one night for work and would return. WiFi worked well, though I didn’t test video calls. There’s a chill area for working after checkout, which I enjoyed. A kettle is provided, but no tea bags. Plenty of breakfast spots nearby, and the train station is a 10-minute walk away.

What I didn’t like: one bed light wasn’t working, the shower door didn’t close properly, and it was a bit noisy, as expected. The cafeteria area is really nice, but adding cups and tea bags would enhance the experience.

We had a fantastic experience at this hostel! Everything was very clean and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the room has shutter, so we can darkened the room very well. + There was always someone at the reception who could be contacted, The location was good — just a 15-minute metro ride to the Sagrada Familia, and the public transport in Barcelona is efficient and easy to use. Thanks to the great location, we also had the chance to explore some amazing local bakeries and pubs nearby, which added a lot to our experience.

If I have to say one thing, it's that the walls are very thin, so you could hear the street noise in the room.

Friendly staff. Very helpful in advising us on places to eat. There was Sans Beer just round the corner that did excellent tapas as well as drinks - a friendly place with pavement tables in a safe area. There was a brilliant coffee and croissant shop next to Sans Beer - best coffee of the holiday. We had lots of drama over our room on arrival but the 5 attempts to get the right room were dealt with with humour and comedy by the reception staff- computer problems. The property is very convenient of Sants Station, and the Metro.

We booked a twin room; I emailed the property to make sure we had a twin room but the first night after being relocated to a number of rooms (one twin room already had a man in the bed!) we had to share a double bed. After that, they gave us an up market twin room. We and the staff were in stitches after sending us up and down to floor 6 to find key didn't work, then bed wrong, then man in the room. A hostess tray with a kettle; tea and coffee would have been good.

Exactly what I expected, and maybe a little better. Clean, comfortable, with all necessary facilities. They provide good accommodation at a reasonable price in a good location. Two metro lines practically at the front door get you to the tourist hot spots in 10-15 minutes. Walking distance to Sans train station. Many shops, restaurants, bars convenient. My room had a/c and heat, although I needed neither. Plenty of plugs and very good lighting. My only slight reservation is that the walls are very thin…you can practically participate in next door conversations.

Location is great and practical, two metro lines and couple of bus station right next to property! Hostel is really clean! Staff is great and approachable.

Wifi did not work in our room, but they were nice and offered a different room which we did not take because it was smaller. Also, there is no kettle in the room nor in the cafeteria, it would be really great if at least kettle was in the cafeteria so guests can make coffee or tea in the morning :))

Good reception, well cleaned room, bathroom, daily housekeeping. Good locality, bus, metro, variety of restaurants just outside the hostal.

I was unable to purchase essential items like water in the kitchen area due to the payment booth being out of service. Additionally, considering the amount I paid, I was expecting a larger room with more amenities such as a coffee maker, drinking glasses, a mini fridge, and a larger LCD screen, may be a working table even which were not provided.

The best shower I've had in a months traveling. Their concern for water saving. Their flexibility in combining my 2 separate bookings into one room so that I didn't have to move rooms.

The repeated request for days beforehand to precheck in , online, when it only took a few minutes to check in on arrival..

The area is good, located a few minutes walk from Sants railway, and with a metro stop just a few yards away. There are plenty of bars & restaurants nearby, as well as a main shopping street. 20 mins by foot to Nou Camp stadium. The rooms are small, but clean and well kept with clean white linen and hot showers The staff at 24h reception were helpful and friendly.

The shower curtain is a nuisance, as shower cubicles are quite small
