Very clean, comfortable room and kind, helpful staff. Perfect location for visiting the education faculty of the university on foot. Easy parking right outside the hotel. Good bars/cafes nearby for breakfast, lunch and supper, also offering takeaway service with hot food being allowed in the rooms.

It would have been great to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a long mirror could be useful for some but there was nothing not to like!

Hostal Campus rooms are very clean and comfortable with high-quality fittings. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location handy to Burgos main attractions, epecially the monastery of Santa Maria Real de las Huelgas, not to be missed. The facilities are more basic than an average hotel, for example no fridge, but the price of the room is much lower also. Overall good value for money.

The gentleman at reception was super helpful and friendly. Even with the language barrier we managed to understand each other. He also got us a booking at a restaurant that was 100% fully booked. There was a laundromat downstairs which was great.

It would have been helpful to have a kettle/coffee station in the open area.

Our room was hotel quality even though we had booked a hostel room. The room was beautiful with fluffy towels and toiletry samples. Bed very comfortable. Wifi very strong. The property is close to the Camino route. Washing machine and dryer available next to a vending machine, which was great.

The shower head was a little faulty for such a lovely venue. But otherwise not much not to like.

I wanted to pay for the stay in euros, but there wasn’t this option: we were just told that the payment would be taken via Booking.com (contrary to what was said on the website). The staff should have asked if it was ok to take payment via booking.com: I wasn’t anticipating payment to be taken this way.

We were looking for a place that would be reasonably priced and would not cause problems with parking. Hostel Campus is clearly the place. Getting there is easy, and one avoids driving through the city centre, and there are ample parking opportunities in the streets around (we managed to park right at the door). We received very hearty welcome and check-in procedure was easy and friendly; we also received plenty of information and materials about the city of Burgos (special thanks to the person on duty on the day of our arrival! - you are great :)). A few cafes in the vicinity serve breakfast (although not very early in the morning...) and evening snacks/drinks. Historical Monasterio de Santa Maria la Real de las Huelgas is 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and in 25 minutes or so of pleasant walk along the river one reaches the historical city centre. For a short visit, including exploration of the Burgos area, this hotel is definitely recommended.

Very convenient, inexpensive hostal on the edge of town near to the university. Plenty of free parking nearby. The cathedral and historic centre is a 25 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and efficient.

It was difficult to find reception ( round the corner, under a different name). It would be good if breakfast was available nearby but I had to go into the centre to find some.

Breakfast was not available however we knew this before booking as we have stayed at the hotel before. This is a great value for money accommodation in a quiet location but within a good walk from the main city, cathedral etc. The private parking was brilliant.

The weather during our stay could have been a little better!!

FANTASTIC beds, very nice and helpfull personnel, when we asked for a watercooker it was brought immediately. Bus to the city at 110 m.

Not really hot shower, quite noisy, from above.
