Phil was a welcoming, helpful, and charming host. The suite, an excellent bathroom, a very comfortable bedroom and separate sitting room remained cool on very hot days. Breakfast in the internal garden was a treat. Free parking available a few metres away. The apartment is located 200m from the main picturesque placa of Chinchon. A 40 minute easy drive to Madrid airport. Casa San Roque is a wonderful start or finish to a trip in Spain, and a very good base for exploring the surrounding area.

It's a piece of paradise in a small pretty town. So tranquil, beautiful, comfort and spacious. The owners have done everything to make visitors stay perfect. Coffee, fruits, high quality beds and towels. Always shade place to sit in the garden. The beautiful square nearby with very good restaurants. Opposit of the Casa is a small crocery offering local stuff, wines etc. We've been many places in Spain, but this was above all of them.

Absolutely everything! the lovely host! the gleamingly clean suite, the antiques, the furniture, the bedroom fit for kings, a very spacious bathroom, the detail of the fruit basket and the coffee maker, the magical garden that we could see from the living room, the relaxing sound of the fountain, its fireplace and the peace that is breathed! Just perfect and exceptional customer service! I am looking fordward to coming back!

Casa San Roque is the perfect escape in Chinchón, which is the perfect escape from Madrid. If you decide to go down there, Phil is an incredible host. The garden surrounded by the old walls is a place to lose yourself in.

The house was fabulous in a perfect location near the square. Easy parking and sociable host.

Would have liked a small fridge in the lounge for water, milk and wine.

It was more than expected, it was absolutely great. Phil was very nice and took care of everything. The unit was very clean, well decorated and everything worked to perfection..

Gorgeous!!! The hosts, Phil and Emilio, have beautifully restored their home that dates back to at least the 1600's. It's a spotless, meticulous and really amazing place worthy of being a destination on its own right.

the garden was nice and I can only imagine how beautiful it will be later in the summer. the host was proper english gentleman, so no complaints there either. breakfast served on the table was nice touch.

the lack of TV-set was not an issue since staying only one night. the internet service had dual nature; once in range it was super-fast (>100M), but sadly the range was limited to front patio. maybe relocating the router or adding range extender would solve the issue.

Spacious and in centre of medieval Chinchón with an amazing host and very civilised (served from silver coffee pots) and and relaxing breakfast in the private courtyard, with no noise other than the birds.

The owners have brilliantly redone this old Chinchon house. The gardens and courtyard are lovely. The guest suite first cabin all the way
