Lovely hotel, all staff members very friendly,polite,helpful. Facilities are good, room size good , air con. Small kitchenette area ( although not a lot of equipment, however we ate breakfast in the hotel & ate out for all other meals so not a problem for us & I’m sure if we had have asked for kitchen utensils etc. the staff would have provided). The hotel is at the top of a hill which might be a problem for those with restricted mobility/agility. Breakfast was really good, excellent daily choices. The pool is good, different areas to suite swimming abilities. Plenty of sun beds, pool towels provided & a staff member there daily for safety issues. Open bar area around the pool for drinks/ ice creams etc.

Equipment for the kitchen area.

The staff were excellent and went out of their way to be helpful. We had a couple of issues but they were sorted quickly and we were very satisfied with the response. The location is up a steep hill from the beach which was fine for us but may not be for others. Their were two restaurants close by and the e staff and food at those was very good and if you want somewhere posher, we would recommend Trevis in Cala Galdana.

Being picky, a few of the tiles around the pool were cracked and the bars by the pool table were wobbly but overall we were very happy with the property.

Staff was very friendly. In fact, someone we met who was staying at one of the beachfront luxury hotels mentioned their staff was unhelpful and rude. The staff at Illunion couldn't have been nicer. I was surprised at how good and varied the breakfast options were. Rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. Our plan was to be out of the room all day anyway, so it met our needs as the beds were comfortable and there were additional seating areas. Parking is not easy - since you need a car to get around the island, parking in general on Menorca is difficult. But we were always able to find close and safe street parking near the hotel. I did not visit the pool so can't speak to that, but I noticed a metal gate separating the shallow and deep ends - that looked a little strange. Didn't bother me, as I didn't use the pool and don't have small children any way. The only other tip I have for travelers is to ask about beach gear. I noticed only upon check out that they had some used (left by guests) beach umbrellas and toys in the storage room. Would've been nice to know ahead of time, instead of purchasing those for our short stay and giving them away on the beach as we were leaving.

Excellent location 5 min walk from the beach. Beautifully clean & very friendly helpful staff. Swimming pool lovely & well kept. Hotel is very modern & feels fresh and up to date. Kitchen in bedroom apartment very sufficient, very helpful having a fridge, microwave. Definitely recommend and would go again, especially good for a young family, good fun entertainment at night.

A minor observation is the bedroom decoration could do with a little refresh, although nothing to be disappointed with during your stay. Beds and bathroom very clean and comfortable.

It was very beautiful, the apartment was clean and the staff was friendly and smiling. The swimming pool is nice too and the food was awesome (breakfast and dinner were very nice for the whole week)

Before our arrival I needed to contact the staff and it was just impossible even after calls to the booking staff, no one was able to contact the hostel. Also, only 3 people there spoke English (these ones were very nice, welcoming and professional) Other people from the staff were quite lost when we spoke with them.

I liked the breakfast and the breakfast room which was very comfortable and well decorated although unfortunately I picked up some dishes that were not always very clean. The beds were also comfortable.

As for the receipt we didn't receive it at the time we checkout and they said they would send it via email. Two weeks after I had to send an email requesting it, but it still wasn't provided. We had to cal the hotel and just them they send it to us.

Really good value for money. Clean apartments and well sized. Good location on the hill and relaxed vibe.

When I checked in at 2pm there was only 1 person on reception. It took over 20 minutes to get to the front and I was shocked they didn't have any other staff to help. It was very frustrating, and if the hotel knows what time you can check in it should be staffed for this. Buffet breakfast quality could be slightly better, more fruit options etc but overall decent value for money if included in the rate. Would have been good if there was a gym.

Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly staff, pool was perfect, lots sunbeds and shades available. Poolside bar serving healthy lunches & snacks, the rooms were clean, beds comfy, quiet a/c, balcony inc table and chairs & fully equipped kitchenette. Reception supplied a kettle for us - thank you! Hotel is 10 mins downhill walk to gorgeous Cala Galdana bay with shops, bars and restaurants.

Nothing. However an ice tray and mugs rather than small coffee cups would be nice!

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great! The swimming pool area was very nice. Everything was clean. Location was great, close from everything. Our bedroom was comfy and clean. It was quiet.

The main thing that bothered us, was that we could not have a good sleep. You can hear people moving chairs, in the next and on top bedrooms. We sleep early and most people were awake till midnight, so that was very annoying. It would improve if the hotel would stick soft covers in the chair's legs, so they wont do noise against the floor. We also had some mold on the wall of our bedroom and our black out curtain had some holes and it was not very good attached to the rail, so some light was coming in.

We loved the quiet location and that it was away from the touristy part of Cala Galdana! We also loved the extra facilities like Padel! Room was super spacious and very clean!

We both said the kitchen could have been a bit more stocked with utensils and things (we had to ask for a sharp knife to cut tomatoes / onions etc) and there was no kettle. Just if you’re planning on cooking dinners like we did it was a lot easier to have those utensils! Another thing we both said was that there needed to be a toilet brush in the toilets! Only very minor things though!
