The location is perfect, handy for the beach, walks etc. also bus stop across road for very cheap bus routes to travel around the island. Breakfast was very enjoyable catering to all tastes and appetites, very enjoyable

Cannot think of anything in particular, happy with everything. Just one point they provide water stations on most floors to refill bottle they provide or refill your own bottles. At dinner in evening they ask if you would like water, naturally you say yes because of heat but they don’t tell you they charge for this which seems wrong. Asked about it at reception they explained for service which is ok no problem and it is quite reasonable. Just seems strange c

Fantastic location, great hotel. The food in the hotel was great and at a fair price in my opinion. Breakfast was very good (a variaty of fruits, pastries, juices etc). The nearby beach is very nice and you can reach other great beaches at walk distance which was great for us because we didn't have a car. The rooms were confortable, I didn't love the pillows but for a few days it was alright. The swimming pool and drinks were a highlight! I will def. consider staying at the same hotel for a next summer vacation in menorca.

We had a bit of a hard time getting towels in the pool area. For breakfast the coffee was from the machine but it was okay (I couldn't find a barista around the area, the hotel coffee was the best we could find haha).

We had a room overlooking the pool and it was as described, spacious, well cleaned and in good order. The pool is well maintained and its setting is lovely. On a couple of evenings we were disturbed by noise from one of the local bars' in the early hours but this is something that the hotel cannot contain. The staff are well trained and are very helpful to guests'. The hotel is situated in a prime location in Cala Galdana with walks to other popular beaches nearby. We visited in May and public parking is free. We did find parking a small challenge. I would imagine it would be a nightmare in the summer if you were using a car.

The hotel management need a pool policy. There were guests' that were hogging sun loungers when not in use. It was unfair to see guests' arriving to find no space. The Oliva Restaurant a la carte restaurant is under utilised. At best 20% capacity comparing that to the Galdana Restaurant where you struggled to get a table at 7.00 to 7.30 p.m. because of lack of capacity. The wine list was too restrictive. You had a selection if Menorca wine's which very few guests' knew. If a taster was offered you would be encouraged to buy. All the wines from the spanish mainland across red, white and rose were dry, chardonnay, oak based or had tannins. This was a big disappointment as we enjoy a glass of wine with our food.

Spotless throughout and friendly staff . Paid extra for a side sea view room and glad we did

Swimming pool area taken up mainly with The View bar seating and sun beds taken very early so gave up and used the lovely beach . Only 1 chair in the room so had to bring one in from balcony each evening. It was an expensive 8 nights too and didn’t know until packing to come home that water was charged to the room . No signs - would not have used them at 2.50 euros for small bottle but would have got al we needed from nearby supermarket at 1 euro for a large bottle.

Everything was great. The location is incredible because, although it's not directly on the beach, you're just 1 minute away from it. The facilities are top-level, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Also, the hotel is just next to the start of the trail to the best beaches, "Cala Macarella" and "Macaralleta", so this is a plus.

The only drawback I would say is that Cala Galdana is not very well connected with public transport. You would have to take several buses and spend at least 2 hours to get there from the airport. Also, the pillows could be more comfortable, but everything was perfect.

Hotel puts a lot of focus on the environmental care (e.g. beach towels can only be changed every 3 days, refillable water bottles from a couple central points, take the stairs not the lift, etc.) but a more efficient measure should come from the management of the hotel, not the guests, and should be related to downsizing the hotel which is massive for the area. These policies put on guests are just greenwashing and an excuse for the hotel to cut some costs. Hotel is a bit too pricey for the quality. Breakfast: good variety but lack of quality. Spa should be complimentary (1 session per room per stay). Sunbeds at the swimming pool were always fully booked. None of the personnel were doing anything about it.

The stay exceeded our expectations. The location was fantastic, with a room overlooking Cala Galdana. The rooms were practical, clean and very pleasant to stay. The quality of breakfast and dinner buffet was outstanding. We enjoyed the dinner at the hotel much more than at the local restaurants. The biggest asset of the hotel it´s its staff though. From the reception, through restaurant staff and chefs to the cleaning team - everyone was always nice and with a smile on, which is extremely important taking into account how busy they were. We never felt not welcome and this really makes a difference - well done for putting customer service as your priority. You don´t mind spending extra more money when you feel so well taken care of. During our stay it was also my mum´s birthday and we were pleasantly surprised with the kindness of the hotel yet again :) The SPA and thermal circuit were great value for money and not crowded at all.

Tiny thing that I would try to be more aware of (although I understand it might be difficult with so many guests and keeping the quality high) - when sitting next to the dessert and pastry station during the dinner I notice that when staff were replacing the almost finished dessert trays, the remaining few pieces of cake were thrown away to the bin. I understand that due to aesthetics you can´t keep them on display but just felt bad for seeing it being put into waste. Maybe preparing smaller quantities or smaller size desserts would help here - not sure. It just didn´t go in pair with the eco-approach that we loved but I understand it is difficult to have a solution that would please everyone here.

Every member of staff we met was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good, amazing choice. And thank you for providing a ‘mini-breakfast’ as we were leaving early on our last day. We loved the fantastic view from our balcony. The room was lovely with some nice touches like the light switches by the beds. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Love the whole ethos of this hotel and its eco-focus. Great gym. The pool is lovely- cold, but big enough to swim decent lengths. Excellent location with nice walks to nearby beaches Macarella and Mitjana.

My only suggestion is more comfortable sunbeds. Something cushioned would have been so much nicer.

Great venue in an excellent position. Close to beach and the local small boat harbor. Friendly and helpful staff. Great gym facilities and a great sports team. Rented a bicycle which was a good brand and quality. Pool area spacious and well staffed. Breakfast and dinner had good variety and always fresh.

Hot meat selection at buffet were not the best, almost always overcooked/well done. Everything else was great and fresh

Good location, decent breakfast, good pool and leisure facilities,. There was a mix up with our second room which we had requested as a twin but we were allocated a double. To be fair to the hotel they fixed this as soon as they could although this took a few days as the hotel was basically full. Rooms were very clean.

Room sizes - we paid for deluxe double/twin rooms with balconies - but there was not enough wardrobe space at all especially for anyone planning to stay for a fortnight as we did. A lot of clothes simply had to stay in the suitcases. Secondly while the rooms were cleaned very well the timing of the cleaning was very variable and sometimes a lot later than we would have liked. Lastly the rationing of the pool/beach towels to one towel every 3-4 days was a pain especially as our balcony only got the sun in the mornings so often we had to go to the beach with damp towels.
