Clean & cosy

When we came the tv wasn’t working & something was leaking from the balcony, I was told I’d have to wait till the next day to be sorted however they came the same day, only 2 rooms the air con worked in. Pool isn’t heated. Maintenance man walked in the outside area of the villa whenever he wanted without asking which was abit strange as we have kids who could’ve been changing from the pool

The trees in the neighbouring property totally obscured the view which is the main reason we stay at the top of this hill. The pool was not clean on arrival. The mattresses on the bed were very very uncomfortable, I have had to have physio on my back since returning home.

Unusually for me (as I can normally sleep anywhere) the beds were very hard

The villa was spacious, clean and well kitted out with everything we needed. Although the pool was cold (because we went in April) it was nice to jump in after a hot day hiking around Cala Galdana. We ate outside by the pool every day (April temperatures were 20 degrees in the day and around 15 in the evening so shorts and jumpers was totally comfortable). The villa was set up best for eating outside in our opinion. Rooms were large and everything was clean. Showers were decent although some interesting older shower heads upstairs. The villas are located at the top of a fairly steep hill above the beach. Walking down takes around 10 minutes and is suitable for young and old with no difficulty (our kids are 9/7 and 4 and all made it) walking up is harder in the heat, I'd imagine summer would be very draining. There's free parking all along the front and along the hill just before the sports bar so in the end we just drove down and parked up there every day to save the kids legs. April is still very much in the Menorca low season so a lot of things were shut. The Alaska restaurant on the sea front was good for quick service, friendly staff and tapas. We had a great stay and will happily return if we come back to Menorca.

The kettle tripped all the electrics every time. We got a replacement one but same issue. It's written in the welcome pack so is clearly something they're aware of.

Clean, spacious, good facilites, clean pool, air con, close to restaurants and a shop.

At the top of a rather steep hill, the kids got quite tired and we had to carry them most days. Little tricky to find and only found out about the dedicated parking on day 5. The pool is 1.2m at its shallow end so the kids are out of their depth as soon as they get in.

There were ants in the dishwasher so we weren’t able to use it, we never had a safe key, and we didn’t have new linen mid stay like it said

The Villa was great, we loved the pool and terraced area. Fantastic location, only a short walk to the beach and bars. We appreciated the privacy and quiet surroundings but no doubt that is because it was not peak season. (We went in April)

Initially the name of the villa given on the booking was wrong so we were trying the wrong lockbox to get the key. The Kettle kept tripping the electric. There was no heating facility in the main living room.

Villa was nice & clean same as Pool.
