the old manor house is breathtakingly beautiful, the location remote and the views stunning. Everything has been very tastefully restored and exudes graciousness and charm. Our room was large, well equipped and quiet. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. With two swimming pools, gorgeous gardens, ones own garden/sitting area and nearby beaches, it is tempting to never leave the hotel!

We felt that a better equipped gym would have been nice. The food generally was good though we had the idea that there were almost too many waiters wandering around and were a little bit put off over dinner on the first evening by the headsets/earpieces they wore - surely not necessary in a relatively small and oversee-able dining area? They had the effect of making normal conversation with the guests somewhat difficult.... We loved our stay all in all but (having just spent a week walking around the coastline and staying at very good 3/4* hotels for EUR 150 per night) we believe that the EUR 600+ per night pricing is on the high side.

This hotel is PERFECT. I've been to many luxury hotels and none of them match Vestige Son Vell. I think because it simply cannot be very profitable to be this tasteful and attentive to detail? If this were a normal luxury hotel some tedious finance guy would've come along somewhere in the development process and insisted on cheaper outdoor furniture, or floor tiles, or fewer gardens, or whatever, for the sake of the bottom line. Not here! The concierge service, food, pools, cocktails, beds, breakfast, and service are excellent but also, like, I've never seen more gorgeous umbrellas? A hotel really needn't care very much about outdoor umbrellas, but this one does, and all these little details add up to an experience of a new type of luxury - a luxury derived from good taste rather than expensiveness - that I've really never had in a hotel before. Whoever was behind this hotel had a ton of money, flawless design sense, time to make it right, and it shows. I can't wait to go back one day.

Nothing! I liked everything! Even the fire extinguishers were housed in gorgeous containers!

Beautiful tranquil location, extremely relaxing , immediate access to walks along the coastal path, very good food, peaceful room with large outside patio

Like hospitality in so many places & countries around the world it is now difficult to retain staff and Vestige Son Vell is no different- many keen young staff but still needing more training & experience.

Restoration of the property is exceptional and estate is incredible yet comforting. The staff were really friendly, human and helpful too - especially Gary and his guest experience team - who kept us just the right amount of busy during our stay.

Remote. It felt like we were the only people in the property at times even though it was completely booked.

The long skinny road to the property can be difficult to navigate when there’s any oncoming traffic. But it’s worth it when you arrive.

Beautiful location with pretty gardens and generally nice and healthy food. Well designed spacious rooms.

Food was brilliant one day but disappointing on the next.

Beautiful property & gardens, the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Superb swimming pools, lounge areas, pool bar, dining areas. Our room was outstanding with a cosy garden. Spotlessly clean, wonderful food & excellent staff.
