The hotel had everything you needed and the facilities were amazing. The room was very clean and the staff came in and refreshed the room everyday. The bed was very comfy and there was great storage in the room.

The only (very minor) downside was the location. We were a little further from town than we would’ve liked to be but the buses made it really easy to get in and out (and the bus stop is very close to the hotel). The staff did also say they would send over the check in information by 3pm and I did have to send q reminder at 4:30pm as I hadn’t received it- but was very minor and they responded quickly.

The hotel is very clean, we had super clear communication about check in etc.

Everything was good except very loud noice from the unloading/ delivery at night. they brought some delivery to the hotel, probably bed linen from the laundry. And they loaded it into the hotel on carts so loudly at 3-4 in the morning that it was simply impossible to sleep. I think such noisy work should not be done at night, when the hotel guests are sleeping. Otherwise, everything was fine, although the hotel location is a bit far from the historical center.

Shower head - too high. When they built it, they probably didnt think about people who are shorter than 2 metres. I had to stand on my tip toes to reach it. Also shower pressure was not the best. Bed side light was not very useful. It was very bright to have it on while other person was sleeping and in the same time it was not bright enough to read. Microwave would be useful as well as some plates and silverware for the common room.

Clean, modern, great amenities in the room as well as in the lobby. Good soundproofing and even though it is not in the city center, there are so many buses getting here that you are close to everything. The walk through the beach is also fabulous. Great bars and restaurants all around. We would 100% come back. Cannot comment on the staff as we didn't meet anyone but the room was always spotless and we knew how to get in touch should we need to. They gave us loads of info through Whatsapp prior to our arrival too without us asking for it, it was super helpful.

The check-in process is really horrible. it has to be done online prior to arrival with scanning your ID but once on arrival, we had to redo it all over again. It didn't recognize our EU ID. It was honestly infuriating and after 5pm, you are on your own battling a machine and tired after travelling. The smart tv was also a pain and believe me, we are tech nerds. Cannot fault anything else as all the rest was perfect !

Friendly & helpful staff on reception. Generally quite good value for money. The site & rooms were clean & fresh, a bit basic/minimal but that is not a criticism, it is everything you need for a base to explore from.

Nothing really to complain about. It is a bit of a walk from the old town (20 minutes or so) which is really where all the pintxos restaurants are located - this was not a problem for us & is a pleasant route around the bay, but others may prefer something closer or to use a taxi. However, the location of the hotel itself is still very nice, close to a few places to eat & drink and very near to the beach & funicular.

Incredibly clean, with everything we needed. There is a good shower, soaps, shampoo etc. and towels. bed is very comfy, and the room is a fair size for the one night that we stayed. There is a big area by reception with sofas and tables and an excellent coffee machine (free coffee). The staff were lovely. We parked in the car park and got a discounted price. This worked well for us, it’s a short walk from the property - again, we were only there for one night so didn’t have much luggage.

We were being a bit dense and google maps let us down a little, but we found the property in the end - then it all became obvious. Have a good look at the street view before you go. Check in process once reception is closed is on a machine, again, this was an us problem, I thought I callus navigate it in Spanish, but couldn’t, so if you’re English, do it in English and it’s a very simple process especially if you have put your info in on line before you get there. You’ll need your passport/id.

Fantastic little boutique hotel. I really enjoyed my 3 nights here. The room was bright, spacious, nicely designed and very comfortable. I had the same feeling for the common area where one can enjoy a nice coffee or tea, offert. The hotel is located in a very quiet area of San Sebastian, maybe too quiet. It is close to the best beach in town, and one can find nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. We even found the best bakery with the best Tarta de queso I have ever had. Go on and look for it... The only little bad thing is that the hotel is a bit difficult to find, and especially when traveling by car. But overall I highly recommend Umma suite hotel.

Ok, maybe we are a little old fashioned but it is nice to have a friendly face on reception, however we fully understand that automated booking in is the way forward. That said it was easy (even I could do it!). What the company saved on front of house they certainly put the money into the facility. The room was very clean and well equipped. Parking was a bit of an issue but location to the sea front was great. Now we are conversant with the check in we would certainly come back

Very spacious room and a pleasant bathroom. The free coffee machine and chilled/carbonated water dispenser in the hotel lounge are a nice touch. Exceptionally high cleaning standards and great location for the beach and the Miramar castle.

This may not be the property for you if you want to stay close to the old town. It takes about 30 minutes to reach on foot (although the promenade is perfectly pleasant). There was no clothes line in the bathroom, so you may have to be creative when it comes to drying swimwear.

The property is close to the beach and there are a plenty bars and restaurants nearby. There is a regular bus service into the old town that was almost door to door. The toiletries were good quality and the hairdryer was powerful. Coffee facilities in the room were fine but the machine in the lobby was excellent. There was also a water dispenser for unlimited fresh, cold water.
