⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really enjoyed my stay here! The property was super clean, cozy, and had everything I needed to feel comfortable. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the place well looked after. The best part though was the staff—they were so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help out with anything. They made the whole experience easy and stress-free, which I really appreciated. Overall, it felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay.

We were very happy to be able to park our car in the hotel parking lot, which seems possible most of the time. Our room had a nice view towards the ocean, and was practically on the beach front. The hotel is located right next to the quieter end of San Sebastian, with a great beach and some good bars and restaurants in the vicinity. A special mention to nearby Cerveceria de Antiguo, who whipped up the best pintxos we had during our five nights in San Sebastian. Bar Antzara on Kalea Matea was also good for breakfast and pintxos. Minibar was a plus!

Room was a little bit cramped, and the bed a bit narrow. Breakfast was disappointing. The hotel is 30-35 minutes walk into San Sebasian’s old quarter, which is fine for doing it once a day, but a bit too long for going in several times a day. On the other hand, we ended up preferring the area where the hotel is located (Antiguo) and regretted not spending all of our time there instead of getting lost in the tourist traps of Parte Vieja.

The property is lovely and very comfortable - we enjoyed the location on the other side of Donastia with easy access to the old town. Good access to beach and great walking around the bay. We also discovered the local area for pintos!

We were not advised breakfast was not included and had to pay €15 per person for this service. The breakfast is not worth €15 person and ran out of some products. We were also told parking was included but then had trouble parking - staff could have be more helpful and cheery! Cleaners were great.

The location was excellent with access to all local attractions and facilities. The staff we spoke with were very personable, giving us lots of advise on places to visit, ensuring we even had the information relating to local buses and bus stops. With the exception of the mattress this is an exceptional hotel.

Bed was uncomfortable, we did raise this with staff the morning after our first nights stay, unfortunately the person we spoke with was unable to offer us a solution as all the mattresses were the same in each room. No central seating area.

Room was comfortable but a bit dated. Also with wooden floors, lots of footsteps if the upstairs guests (Germans) are too uncivil to take off their shoes, and although the guest in question was too portly to get up the stairs without loosing her breath; she had plenty of it to draw attention to her bedroom activities later in the day. Bring earplugs and you will have a lovely stay.

Located about 2km from Old Town and about one minute walk from the beach… on a quiet street. Room was large with both air con and an overhead fan. Stocked minibar in room. Super comfy bed with great pillows 😊

I had no issues but for anyone driving, parking is quite limited. A lot of reviews mentioned thin walls and noise from lift; my room was directly opposite the lift and I was not disturbed

Location was perfect for all activities yet far enough away from the very touristy zones. The room was quiet and clean with everything we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby decoration is terrible! Lobby is dark and looked like a haunted house when we arrived. The "antique" baby carriage and "antique" lady's pajama on a mannequin make no sense and look like a funeral. Not a good first impression at all. Luckily the hotel was good in all other aspects.

We were upgraded to a room with a sea view which was absolutely stunning, definitely worth it. The beds were extremely comfortable. Location was one of my favourite areas of San Sebastián, you can get the bus 20 minutes or walk 30-40 minutes along the beautiful beach to the centre. It’s very quiet and felt safe.

Shower temperature was very temperamental and the pipes were quite noisy, could hear all our neighbours for example. I think it’s just the consequence of an old building. The staff were not the most friendly, but still fine.

A beautiful, authentic building perfectly located away from the busy old town, close to Monte Igeldo funicular. Literally cross the road to the beach & an easy stroll along the promenade to the old town, restaurants, shops & night life. The room was a reasonable size with full length doors that let in a nice breeze. The fridge was a bonus. The staff were pleasant & helpful.

The hotel was very dark. It was difficult to see to put your key in the door. The air conditioning had a noise of running water, so we could not sleep with it on. The bed was very hard. The bathroom was very small & the water gushed from the smaller shower head. The water did not drain away & pooled in the base. Unfortunately these issues did not make this hotel good value for money.

Very good stay overall, only two small things that could have been better: - the toilet in my room was squeezed into a corner, and I could not sit properly on it, I had to sit sideways because there was no leg room to sit straight - also, I brought a plastic bag to put my dirty clothes in, and a 1.5l water bottle to refill. These were both thrown away, as the cleaner assumed they were rubbish. Maybe the hotel can add a policy e.g ‘please put any rubbish in this area’, so that they don’t throw away things by mistake
