We chose the hotel based on its airport location. It has been recently refreshed so very good level of comfort. We thought it was very good value for money including breakfast.. We highly recommend the breakfast buffet which presented very well with a wide variety of choice and the staff kept refreshing the dishes in a timely manner. We took advantage of the hotel's airport shuttle service which meant it was easy to get to the airport terminal.

It was built in a commercial neighbourhood so not a terribly interesting location and few alternative dining choices.

Beautiful interior, large rooms with a comfortable King bed. Free shuttle and shuttle and only 5 minutes by shuttle from airport.

Only issue was that they forgot our 4 am wake-up call. Fortunately, it was for back up in case I slept through my phone alarm.

This is a great place to stay if you are waiting to go very early next morning to BCN airport (transfer to airport is included). Hotel rooms are really nice and clean, and AC and other services are working as they ought to. They have a well equipped gym which I and my son highly appreciated! Great also to easily pick nearby public transportation to spend time at marvelous beaches that are much less crowded and more beautiful than those of downtown Barcelona. The hotel let us store luggage as we arrived few hours before check-in, meaning that we got more quality hours at the beach. Nice also to take an evening walk to nearby Emilio Sanchez tennis academy and boarding school, where we received good food and excellent service.

I’ve stayed a couple of times in this hotel when arriving late to Barcelona airport due to flight delays or wanting to wait for the next morning to collect my hire car, and I would stay again anytime that this happens. The rooms are excellent: big and comfy beds and excellent shower room. Free shuttle service from/to the airport. Their breakfast buffet is excellent, plenty of savoury and sweet options to choose from. I didn’t get it the first time because I thought it was too expensive but the second time time, I had to wait for 1/2 hour for their shuttle service and I was hungry so I thought I might as well. And it was well worth the money. It actually felt more like a lunch buffet than a breakfast buffet! The only reason it doesn’t get a 10/10 is because of the lack of service during night time hours. One of the times I got there after a very long delayed journey, all I needed was something to eat and a drink, and this was not available. But either than that, everything was excellent.

The proximity to the airport and the included shuttle to the airport were awesome! Great for a layover or early morning flight. The hotel is contemporary and has a restaurant. The room and bed were comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The beverages in the fridge were complementary.

The bathroom's cleanliness could have been improved. There were pubic hairs on the toilet and the bidet. Multiple staff members were less than friendly. I had an issue with my booking and called several times to resolve it. In my first phone call, the staff member was friendly and helpful, but the issue was not resolved. I had to call 4 additional times to resolve the issue and was transferred around to the same departments and hung up on twice (not accidentally disconnected, but intentionally hung up on because they said they couldn't help me and then ended the phone call). It was eventually resolved. The proximity to restaurants and stores was a minimum of a 30-40 minute walk, so it's not the most convenient location for anything other than the airport.

Our flight was cancelled due to the blackout on the Monday, so we had to find a place for 2 nights. We needed to find somewhere that def had power! The Melia Inn did not disappoint - the staff were calm (they hadn't lost power) and the room was very comfortable, the breakfast was great, they only offered a buffet dinner on the night of the blackout, which was fine. I used the gym, which was on the top floor - it was pretty standard. The restaurant staff were great. The shuttle worked well on the way back to the airport

Once we booked thehotel, after sorting out the flight rebooking, it was difficult to get through to the hotel to find out when the shuttle was coming to pick us up from the airport, but I imagine that was due to the aftereffects of the blackout. Otherwise nothing, it was a great stay despite the circumstances!

Asked for 2 beds got 2 beds. Father and son. Was close to airport via free shuttle bus. Got assistance getting taxi. To football stadia in Barcelona. We were there to watch international football match between Costa Rica who we follow around the world and Catalonia . Food was very good. Had evening meal late evening after match. And breakfast early before shuttle back to Airport. Hotel did what we wanted. Secure comfortable stay close to airport. For short stay to watch a football match. Did what it said on the tin.

Nothing. Everything went as to our plan. Would stay again

Great location! We had a 24 hours layover and did not want to be confined in the airport hotel but wanted something nearby. The townhouse room option gave us alot of space to reorganise our luggages. Had complimentary minibar as well! Good working space in the lobby.

a more extensive food menu would have been great. Someone apparently ordered a sandwich and sparkling water at midnight and bill it to our room which delayed our check out the next day for around 20 minutes as the receptionist was trying to figure out what happened. As we had to catch our uber, I told the receptionist to please check with their night staff or cctv as we were sound asleep at the time of the receipt.

Close to Mas Blau metro station and only 10-12 minutes from Terminal 1 by airport shuttle; great bed…super comfy pillows…nice dining table for room service; great shower; inner door that blocks out interior noise; friendly bar/room service staff; the deli burger was fantastic and well-presented in a bento box; super reliable airport shuttle service; lobby area looks incredible..like a giant, peaceful library.

A bit expensive for an airport hotel; no Smart TV :(

Very nice hotel Comfortable, cleaned, with lovely amenities in the room, hotel staff very kind and efficient airport shuttle again with impeccable staff looking after

The quality of food at the restaurant was not great, even the coffee was poor quality. I did not eat my meal however the waitress clearly did not know how to handle the situation, I felt it for her because she was clearly not properly trained in how to deal with simple issues, so I just paid my bill and left trying to reassure her was all good.
