It is close to airport… and to go to the city like the tourist places it takes one hour but the bus stop is very nearby and there is bus every 10 minutes… we wanted to clean the room and change towels and we used to tell the receptionist and the house keeping did very good cleaning. I really liked the night receptionist Sara … as she places and guided us how to go around… there was children area so my kid was enjoying coloring and playing….

Food they change bit the menu we stayed there almost 7 nights and was getting bored with food eating same thing

Honestly, this is the best Ibis hotel I've stayed in so far. Very clean, room service is very good, the air conditioning is working great (which in BCN is a must), the breakfast starts at 4.30, so if you have a plane early in the morning, you won't miss the breakfast before leaving. And there are plenty of things to choose from at the breakfast, even for special diets, such as lactose free milk or decaf coffee. As a bonus, there is a microwave next to the reception, which can be used all day. And also, a little kids corner to be mentioned. And the bus station and taxi station are right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend it.

The room is very small, but you should expect this when you book an Ibis room.

This hotel, despite the name, is not really in the airport, but in the nearby town of Viladecans. This was a positive point for me, as we stayed here a few days. The room was nice, the staff was very nice and helpful and the location quite ok. The room can easily receive 3 people, so no issue there.

The room has almost no cubby to place anuthing. If you stay more than one night, you might want to have a little wardrobe or some more shelves. There is a table and a chair, just one, and the nightstands. So yeah, for a 3 person family staying a few days it felt more awkward than it should just because every surface was housing a pile of things that should have stayed hidden

nice clean friendly hotel. i was very happy with the hotel.

the location of this hotel ,,,if you don't have a car... is a disaster if going to the airport. you will need a taxi. that will range from a minimum of 22e to what ever or how much the taxi driver will try get away with, . it would be cheaper to stay in the city and use the train to airport costing 4,60 e. the answer if the hotel could arrange ,,. is a shuttle bus and charge 5e for the journey running every 30 mins at peak times. it would avoid the extra 50e needed to use taxi for the return journeys. this extra cost makes the hotel a lot more expensive, pity.

Everything, except one thing (the pillows). All the rest was perfect!!! Mc Donald's are right next to and happy with the hotel and the staff. Especially the lady at the reception in the morning calling the taxi for us. Thank you. Muchas gracias.

The pillows ! Too soft and saggy, but kinda dangerous for toddlers to sleep, they can sink during the night. That's why I removed it so we won't have any accidents. But everything else was perfect. Thumbs up. Gracias gracias ☺️

It's an ibis budget - so you know what to expect and what to get. It's adequate, comfy rooms and we had a good night's sleep. Kudos to the receptionist who gave us milk at three in the morning for our toddler. The location is close to the airport and we used it after arriving from a late night flight into Barcelona. A pleasant stay overall.

Well, the price wasn't really 'budget'. I am used to pay a third for an ibis budget for what I paid this time but who knows which event was going on in Barcelona or whether it was simply demand and supply.

clean, simple, comfortable

It was not as close to the airport as I expected. The cab ride to the airport cost almost as much as the ride from downtown to the hotel.

The hotel is a reasonable distance from the airport by taxi ( 11 km). There is regular transportation by bus to the city center and can be found in front of the hotel. The room is not spacious but acceptable and good ventilation as the window can open. The breakfast was more than adequate with drinks, fruits, breads, pastries, and cereals.

The double bed mattress was somewhat irregular in support making sleeping with another person not totally comfortable.

The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Basically exactly what was needed for a stopover before a flight. Simple functional shower. The location was good, there was a bus from the city which runs until midnight. The receptionist lady was nice and welcoming - however there was a long line so they should have surely had two people manning the desk.

Still quite expensive for a simple hotel, I guess this is just Barcelona. Note that it is still a somewhat pricy cab ride to the airport too (~35€), though a quick trip.

We booked the hotel because it’s close to the airport and had an early morning flight. ✈️ Breakfast is good and it starts 4:30am which is perfect if you need to grab a bite before the flight. It’s kind of far from Barcelona city center it takes around hour and a half once you get used to subway lines there 😅 we used bus to get to the subway from the hotel but maybe there is an easier way to get to Barcelona, not sure.
