Absolutely delighted with this hotel. I looked at many options before settling on this hotel as it was the first time travelling as an all ladies group. I was concerned the family room maybe too small for four guests, however it was spacious, clean. and had ample sleeping space with super comfy beds. Cleanliness was immaculate and the choice at breakfast very good with something for everyone. Staff were very helpful and kind at all times and helped us with arranging our sight seeing and navigation. The hotel is in the centre of Granada and in walking distance of lots of sights and restaurants.

Excellent stay. Walking distance to the city centre whilst in a more quiet area. The hotel is very modern. Well looked after. Everything was very clean. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of options. All very tasty and delicious. Staff were super attentive and after a couple of days they already knew us and looked very well after us. I would definitely come back in another visit to Granada!

If you arrive by car, please note that street parking is difficult in this part of the city. I would recommend booking the hotel car park if you prefer the convenience.

Breakfast was varied, yummy, and the breakfast staff were friendly and efficient. On Saturday, the guy in charge of breakfast offered everyone freshly made churros when arriving into the breakfast room. The reception staff were so so helpful and recommended veggie restaurants for me. Check in and check out were super quick and easy. Restaurant downstairs was handy. I arrived late in the day and feeling tired, so was convenient for a quick easy dinner.

Not many (only one) vegetarian option at the restaurant (grilled avocado).

Spacious and quiet room very close to the metro station. Huge bed and super comfortable. Very good breakfast with many healthy and local options. Close to some cafes and restaurants.

The air conditioner didn’t cool very well, but opening the windows was fine and there was basically no noise coming from the outside since our room was facing the inner courtyard.

Great location, friendly staff and efficient check in. The bed in the room was huge, with a comfortable mattress.

Although the bed was big and comfortable, the starched sheets had a very bad effect on my husband’s skin. He was itching and scratching from the first night. Maybe a different non biological cleaning product on sheets would be a good idea.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. We needed some print-outs for tickets and boarding passes, and the lady at the front desk was quick to help - and did it with a smile. Also, we had to leave the car a bit longer in the garage than check-out due to the Alhambra-tour. Front desk allowed us to keep it there without extra-charge. 10 stars out of 10 :-)

The location of this hotel is ideal. It's in a quiet residential neighbourhood with mainly local families and business folks walking around. It's a 10min walk through residential streets to the centre of town. Some reviews on here complain about it but people are lazy! 10 mins to be in a quiet neighbourhood is not a bad thing. Just put your trainers on and walk and make the most of seeing the local surroundings. Lots of places to eat and drink next door and en route to the old town. Shops galore especially local fruiterers and specialist shops. It was a real cultural experience. This hotel is easily reached by tram from the train station. The sound proofing is excellent as it's an old style hotel with solid doors and walls. The beds were very comfy and it was luxury for the kids to have single beds to sleep on rather than a sofa bed in a family room! You can order different pillow types from the reception which was useful. Staff we helpful too explaining how to get to places. Quick lifts to the 6 floors. Sanitiser available. Vanity sets in the bathroom which is useful if you have forgotten your toothbursh, comb and toothpaste!

There was no tea / coffee making facility in the rooms. If you wanted a hot wake up drink you have to go to the lobby and pay 1.50 Euros which I do not think is right. There should be a kettle and tea / coffee provided in the room or for free in the lobby. The breakfast was a bit expensive. They were going to charge my daughter the same as an adult to eat breakfast and she is 12 years old. That was not appropriate.

Clean and comfortable, great location with the Metro outside the door - this made it super easy to get to the bus station for my bus to Malaga Airport. Comfortable bed, good shower, great breakfast. Breakfast staff and reception very helpful and friendly.

Very comfortable bed, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast with gluten-free products. City center can be reached in a short time. We had a problem before leaving and the staff was very kind and ready to help us to find solutions, we very appreciated. In future cases, Occidental Granada will be our choice!

The restaurant and bistro were both closed for holidays on the same period. We normally choose hotels also based on the presence of restaurants due to celiac disease. We were a bit unlucky, but anyway we are very satisfied with our stay!

The room was a good size, with a nice bathroom. Big comfortable double bed. It's a very clean hotel and the staff efficient and friendly. We were able to park our motorcycle in the underground garage.

It's a good 40 minutes walk (depending how fast you are) to the main tourist attractions. Parking in the underground car park is expensive for a motorcycle (18 euro). We would have liked to have had some refreshment from the bar after a very long (and hot) ride, but the bar and the restaurant were closed until 8pm. Even the mini bar in the room was empty. We had no option but to go for a walk to find somewhere nearby for a drink and some food. The room TV only had a handful of Spanish channels and a couple of German ones. We didn't appreciate being woken late at night and then again early in the morning by people having loud conversations virtually outside our room door.
