Pretty much perfect. Quirky set up with characterful buildings, high end furnishings and toiletries. Staff on reception were excellent as were the shuttle drivers. The location is quite special and they had thought about how to compensate for being so far up into the old town to minimise hassle and maximise ease.

At these prices you create expectations of top notch service. The reception etc staff delivered on that but the breakfast/pool service was a bit lacking. Well meaning but slow/inefficient and a bit forgetful. But with a bit of focus/training they’d be perfect. Breakfast ended up feeling a bit stressful rather than the lovely experience the food and location deserved.

Lovely staff. The service dropping you into the old town. Turndown service was great. Clean rooms. Beautiful view from the pool however staff don't come up to ask you if you would like a drink etc.

No included water in room or facilities to refill your water bottles. This would be helpful when travelling. It was very expensive for a room which didn't have a view or a balcony. The experience was lovely but you can get nicer rooms for that price.

Beautiful and unique hotel located in the very historic Dalt Villa, at the very top of the old town. Our room was in the tower, with an enormous terrace with a beautiful view. The rooms and bathroom are spacious, with very comfortable beds, ours had a mini fridge always stocked with water to stay hydrated. The reception was kind, helpful and responsive to all our questions, and provided beach towels for us to use for an afternoon at the beach. The pool area is intimate with a nice poolside bar service, comfortable lounges with some shade - a very relaxed vibe. Many lovely restaurants, bars, shops, museums and cultural experiences just nearby, though the hotel feels like an oasis from the bustling parts of town. Note that it is quite a vertical climb from the main old town as the intramuros area is very old and UNESCO protected. They have a little golf cart shuttle service to help you which is really easy, but worth noting you will need to walk up and down a fair bit! Really special hotel.

After the first day we did decide to skip the hotel breakfast, which was not included in our room rate. As we are not big breakfast people, it was a bit expensive for a continental (although lovely quality, with lovely artisanal bread, homemade fig jam). But this is a personal choice, not a negative per se.

The hotel was laid out in “stages” over the gradients of the hills with clusters of rooms here and there. We had to walk a short way down the hill to access reception and the main restaurant. We stayed in the tower part (circa 10th century) so were taken with our luggage in a golf buggy to the door. Accessing the pool was out onto a quiet road and down a passage. None of this was an issue at all and added to the charm. The most outstanding facility was the drop off/pick up service to the meeting point in the town. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes after a quick WhatsApp message to the hotel, it was like having our own personal taxi service. The roads up to the hotel were many and steep so this was an absolute luxury! The room was beautiful in an understated way with stone floors and no fussy decor. Excellent air con and a very comfortable bed. Lovely attractive pool area but quite small and not much shade, no parasols. Without exception, all the staff were efficient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A stay in this historic hotel is highly recommended.

A small let down was the breakfast service. It was quite expensive for what was on offer and rather than a buffet the waiters would bring platters of cheese, meats, breads etc to the table and would then disappear with them. We were never asked if we wanted more after the initial offering so we felt a bit awkward wanting another croissant etc. We were served with butter, jam and chopped tomatoes but the portion size was extremely small ~ now where near enough for one person let alone two. The coffee machine in our room was on a low shelf within a cupboard. This made it awkward to access and use.

What can I say about Hotel La Torre del Canónigo Hotel and the amazing team there, especially Geraldine, Juliana, Jorge and Lewis. who organised everything immaculately. In some ways, I would want you to find out in your own way because it is something you have to see and experience for yourself, but suffice it to say, I felt a choice set of words might encourage you to take a leap of faith and enjoy the hospitality, generosity of spirit, and warmth that is Hotel La Torre del Canónigo as well as the exceptional setting, magnificent scenery and very high quality of service. If you are looking for a tranquil yet cool, atmospheric, hotel in an idyllic setting with perfect views to the beautiful Ibiza Town, then look no further. If you are looking for a hotel which can give you complete privacy, leaving you to your own private experience (we stayed in one of the amazing Terrace Suites with Sea Views), yet also have attentive staff available to consider all of your needs - no matter how big or small - La Torre del Canónigo is the place for you. I had a particularly special occasion I wanted to celebrate, and Mario and the amazing team at the hotel went out of their way to make us feel relaxed and welcome and well looked after, which created a truly memorable 'once in a lifetime' experience. To be served in such a generous way, and in such a dedicated fashion, is unforgettable and a memory we will forever cherish. In terms of cuisine overall, the quality is exceptional; amazing locally sourced ingredients prepared to the highest quality and all of the options from the Breakfast Menu and Room service Menu were of an exceptionally high standard (the lemon tart, however, has to be experienced, it is that good). Truly a five star and unforgettable experience. It does not get better anywhere, globally, across all standards. I am looking forward to returning soon. Thank you so much, Mario and the Hotel La Torre Del Canónigo team!

This is a stunning boutique hotel in a labyrinth style old building at the very peak of Ibiza Town’s old fortress. Staying here gives you a totally different perspective of the island both in terms of the stunning views, but also a sense of history and escapism as you wander around both the hotel and the surrounding streets. I had an incredible massage outside on one of the terraces and love lounging by the little pool during golden hour and sunset. The food and breakfast is also really good here 👌

The most affordable rooms are expensive for their size - which is probably due to the old structure of the building. I have stayed here on my own for a day or two at a time and often kept my suitcase on one side of the bed for ease as there is no real floor space and I didn’t want to completely unpack. The good news though is that the beds are very spacious so it wasn’t a big concession. If you were a couple with 2 suitcases you would struggle to stay in the smaller rooms

Highly recommend it. It was the best experience in the Small Luxury Hotel. My stay was above my expectations. I experienced the stay in the middle of the castle, among olive and lemon trees with the view over the old city and port; resting in the area of the cute modern pool area with the best Dalt Villa bubbles cocktail; the breakfast satisfied my gourmand tastes; most important I felt taken care off by the staff that is so friendly and professional - and if i was lost or needed help in any area they were on whatsap 24/7. They even tried to help me in Spanish with the issue of my stay in the next hotel (they didn't have availability for a stay longer than 5-6 nights when i decided to stay longer in Ibiza). The room was so nice and comfortable. Also there is a service to bring hotel guests up to the hotel from the meeting point down the city - anytime needed, both up and down. I will definitely return with next occasion.

Nothing to say here.

Excellent service, we were situated high up in old ibiza town, the hotel offers an excellent pick up and drop off car service if you need it.

Be sure to book a standard room for extra space. The basic room is extremely small for 2 people.

Hotel is really nice and special in such a georgeous locations , amazing view from the pool ( with super Ibiza vibe and style , but at the same time very quiet with allot of privacy ) , and no noisy and really you can relax allot ! In the room the towels and all are first class quality and I really like it ! Also to recommended is to walk around the hotel area , super cosy and hippy caffe , but at the same time allot of museum !

They need to put high quality products like shampoo and all things .. The breakfast is really very expensive and this is not good, the resultant of the hotel is to expensive , because there is nothing special just the views of Ibiza !

I didn't just like this gorgeous hotel. I LOVED it, underline, capital, bold letters. The staff, the location (it's over three separate buildings, and that was great for me, to literally go down from my tower bedroom to breakfast, and to the reception area and delightful bar, and to the partly olive shaded, beds and towels aplenty, pool area) Those a la carte breakfasts sitting overlooking the best view ever, in sunshine, or on a less warm day in the restaurant with inspirational, innovative decor. One of those holiday experiences that restores your faith in the leisure industry. Beautiful room and bed/bedding, fabulous shower, daily room service with turn down service. We were given a room upgrade - thank you, to a room with a tiny balcony overlooking the street, but all the rooms that I saw looked fabulous. Also allowed because the hotel was not too busy to have a late departure. Nothing was too much trouble. I don't know what it will be like in high season, but after weeks of grey and gloom in the UK, this was the best restorative, holiday. Beautiful memories, will never forget, and already hatching a plan to get back.

I would have loved a slightly warmer pool, but it was off season and I'm sure in season it's fabulous for a refreshing dip. There was nothing to fault here, simply the best location (with warm, friendly, professional drivers to take you up and down to the marina, town, even in the pouring rain on those cobbles). Simply the most kind, helpful, warm, generous hearted - How can we make your holiday better? staff.
