actually everything was ok. Not perfect but ok. Nice old building with old nice wooden floors (bad part is you can hear every step from neighbours' rooms.. ) very centrally located old, charming rooms.. but if you look for functional comfort, then this is the wrong place. bar was closed which was a pity. and no possibility to get a dring. enough parking lots!!

the check in and check out was difficult and took long time.. first they gave me a Smokers room!! which is absolutely not acceptable!!!!!!! rooms windows close fine (but my widow needs a repair as it doe not close properly)

This hotel is perfect in regards to location. Next to a shopping centre, a lovely restaurant opposite and a coffee shop next door and the Old Quarter within walking distance, 20 minutes walk from Hendaye's train station for connections to Bordeaux, Paris, etc. Excellent value for money. Wi-Fi is free.

This isn't a criticism because I was happy with everything but comment that certain areas are tired and need and upgrade but still a great place and as a solo traveller this is somewhere I'd recommend and come back to.

the design of the building and room, just lovely. super pleasant to stay in. balcony is also super cute and parking is very convenient. super comfortable beds and very quiet to sleep.

I ended up being 25min late to check out (12.25 instead of 12.00 because of an urgent online work meeting that delayed a little. when i was checking out, the receptionist was warning me with such a negative and unnecessarily complaining attitude (while i checked out trying to continue the meeting from my phone to respect the rules) that i thought it was completely unnecessary to kill my very positive mood abt the place with this attitude.

Perfect location for exploring Irún and its surroundings; walking distance to the city centre, transport, parks and beaches. It's a old style hotel very well maintained. The staff is always present, attentive and kind.

The bathroom in our room was poorly designed, very cramped and easy to bump into things and drop things in the toilet. The bed comfort/sheets was good but not great. We had an additional bed pit in for our son, which slipped easily away from the wall, which kept us nervous that he might fall while asleep.

We liked the fact it was close to the town and the train station. It enabled us to spend a day in San Sebastian. Bed linen fresh and bed comfortable. Also enjoyed the thunderstorm. It is situated in a quiet road and offers foc parking

No hot water for first night but all sorted by the following afternoon. They have a cute bar but it did 't appear to be open, which is a shame as they have a nice lounge area.

We needed to book accommodation within one day prior to travel due to a previous booked apartment being suddenly unavailable. The hotel is old but that is part of its charm. Staff were friendly and helpful, on site parking plentiful and obvious attempts had been made to ensure guests were comfortable. Out twin beds were superbly comfortable and pillows likewise. We had the best two nights sleep of all places we stayed during the trip through France and down through Spain. Bathroom was fresh, shower over bath and as with everything in the hotel, spotlessly clean. Being an older build soundproofing was not a feature years ago and there was a little noise, not much, from the next room. It was noticed that the extremely thick room entrance door was fireproof and also soundproofed. The passages had double carpet to reduce any noise. Our room had two lovely prints, a few decorative items and an old writing desk. These added to the atmosphere rather than some featureless rooms we have experienced in the past. It was also noted that passage ways were decorated with pictures, photographs and prints, all interesting and well worth stopping to examine. The old central stairs and the lift were beautifully polished and certainly a positive feature of the hotel. We had breakfast on the first morning but wanted to leave early so skipped it the next day. There was a wide variety and excellent choice available and it certainly kept us going throughout the first day. All in all we accepted the hotel for what it was, extremely convenient location offering excellent accommodation at a realistic price.

We did not find anything we did not like.

The general slightly old fashioned ambience. Lots of polished wood, creaky floors and faint smell of traditional beeswax polish. The lift is from another era. Wonderful!! The bed linen and towels are of excellent quality and snowy white!

Nothing really. Just being a bit "nit picky". The beds rolled across the floor,escaping from their headboards! The breakfast room just wasn't quite right. Adequate, plenty to eat. Would have been nice to have prepared melon etc. The coffee was DREADFUL. Stewed.

Good choice of hotel, which itself is a gracious old building with nice wooden floors, etc. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Useful sockets and light switches near the beds. It's very close to the commercial centre of Irun for picking up all the things you forgot to pack, etc, and to the tourist office and buses to Hondaribbia. The lady on reception was particularly efficient and nice.

The only thing we would have appreciated in the room that we had got used to in the other (similar level) hotels so far was a kettle/tea and coffee making facility.

Staff very helpful and arranged for us to eat breakfast in the Bar rather than the Restaurant as we had our dog with us. Great Location and we enjoyed a fabulous Indian curry in a Restaurant a short distance away. We have been before in this same Hotel and found that Indian restaurant. Would definitely recommend as a stopover for driving through from France to Spain.

Booked a double bed but got 2 singles although not really a problem. Would have liked facilities in room to make a drink or a fridge with some water would have been nice.

Lovely large room and comfy bed. Nice breakfast service. Location of hotel excellent for sightseeing, shopping, cafes and transportation. Very helpful receptionist (Tamara - thank you very much).

Not the hotel’s fault but exceptionally noisy guests above our room which led to 2 nights with little sleep.
