Communal areas bright and welcoming, friendly, efficient, caring staff, relaxed seating area at foyer. The pet-friendliness of the hotel as travelling with 2 cats, location near motorway. Breakfast area clean, well presented, food was tasty, dinner enjoyable. Lots of guests travelling with pets and the camaraderie of chatting with them. It is a huge relief to find an accessible, pet-friendly hotel. The kind receptionist gifted us toys for our cats, unexpected and incredibly sweet. Also, the style of the wardrobe in the room had the bonus of providing a safe, cosy corner for the cats to curl up and sleep in. They felt safe! Very comfy bed, efficient shower. We had a great sleep.

The hotel looked closed on arrival with the big front gate being shut. Initially it was confusing as we arrived with a heavily laden trailer and pets, so were anxious about how to turn car and get in…then we realised gates automatic. Some of the hallways, external stairs could do with some refreshing to be more welcoming. There is a very corroded metal stairwell support outside. The wallpaper and paint in corridors is scuffed, chipped and in need of a refresh, the corridors smelled musty…all these things can be remedied. Food- there are limited options for vegetarian guests, no alternatives to cow’s milk/ yoghurt. Limited vegetarian options, adding a veg lasagne and burger to range would help.

A clean, comfortable, and convenient stopover—perfect for a night while passing through. The hotel offers reliable service, good amenities, and easy access to the road for onward travel. Great that it has electric car charging spots!

Nothing major to complain about—it met expectations for a short, practical stay. It was amazing that it had electric car chargers, but one of them was broken, and there were not enough spots for all the electric cars that wanted to park. some driver had to wake up at 01:00 to do a charging switch over.

It has a lift so perfect for the elderly like myself, staff were amazingly helpful. Prices were hiked it was fiesta week, so normal. Aircon was noisy but it worked. Bed, super comfy, Bathroom was good, but shower tray a little slippy for aged folks, yes free shampoo, but awkward for me at 75 years to press the doings that got the shampoo out of the bottle, took a while but I did it. Coffee/ tea making facilities would have been nice, but now I am being picky. Great secure parking.

Nothing at all to dislike

11th December 2023 Great customer service ( we’ve had to cancel and rebook our return journey 4 times so far as our car needed repairs 2 weeks ago and we’re still waiting for parts to arrive in Murcia 😬) the staff are so considerate and very pet friendly, delicious food, clean and comfortable beds, exactly what you need on a long journey from the UK to Southern Spain, we’ve stayed here several times and look forward to staying again soon for our return journey, apart from the Eurotunnel it’s the next booking we make! We consider it part of our holiday ❤️

We like everything

For me driving from Tallinn to Estepona in autumn and back in spring this is a decent 10-11 driving hours from Costa del Sol. The hotel offers safe parking area, and 24/7 reception if something goes wrong. The personnel are always friendly and the facilities, cleanliness and breakfast all good, as price per value as well.

The room was big with a double and single bed. Since I was alone just one bed and a writing desk for laptop would have been better.

Have stayed many times and like that our request for groundfloor accomodation as we have a dog is granted If the weather is favourable it has a lovely terrace for a drink after a long drive

At busy check in times not enough staff (2) on duty to deal with this and man the bar for us thirsty travellers. The bar and the check in desk share the same card machine ! You need 1 for check i and another for the bare area

The room as immaculately clean and fresh, spacious and bright. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked. The restaurant served good honest food, generous portions served beautifully with a smile. A great place to relax without having to leave the hotel to search for food and drink. Breakfast was truly excellent, plenty of variety on bakery items, bread of many types, pastries and pancakes. Eggs, hams and cheese. Yogurts, fresh fruit, juices. Copious tea and coffees of all varieties, hot chocolate. A selection of alternative non dairy produce. The icing on the cake was that the exit was through a petrol station enabling refuelling with ease without the need for searching around for facilities. Full marks all around, good value for money. A definite on the list for a stop on future journeys.

This is the fourth time that we’ve stayed at this hotel. Excellent location. Staff are very good. Like that it’s dog friendly and that we were able to have a ground floor room. We’ve eaten at the hotel. The food is good and is ready quickly. Wine good too.

Didn’t like the coffee from the machine - next time will pay extra for coffee from the big machine the other side of the counter

The staff in the afternoon/evening of my stay were excellent.

The rooms are not sound proof enough. The couple across from me were listening to music and had sex until 1:28 at night. I barely could sleep and it really bothered me because the next day I had an expected 7 hour drive and I was really tired. I am now staying one night at Ibis Alecante and the staff sucks and parking sucks

Clean comfortable room. Very pleasant staff, Free parking.

The hotel was dog friendly but like many did not allow dogs in the eating area. Our option was very high stools in the bar. A normal height table would have been preferable for seniors with back issues. Sadly, served stuffed pancakes which were cold in the middle.
