I had a mostly pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and nicely furnished, making for a comfortable stay. The staff was also very polite and welcoming, though they didn't speak English, which made communication a bit challenging at times.

One downside was the shower-if you stayed in too long, it would start to overflow, which was inconvenient. Aside from that, everything else was great.

Simple checkin procedure

The shower water did not drain properly, hence there were several centimeters of water during the shower that leaked through the door and all over the floor of the bathroom. I inspected the shower drainage and found the plastic basket to be full of hairs and totally blocked. Even after I unblocked it, the water still did not drain very fast.

Location is in a busy part of town so you can go out to eat. Room perfectly comfortable and clean. Breakfast is NOT at the location but about a 5 minute walk away just by the San Ildefonso in a restaurant. Good coffee and reasonable cake/toast/croissants.

Took a while to check in. There is no parking nearby but we dropped off the bags and then parked on the street outside the parador

The location is amazing, really wasn’t expecting it, it was just a one night stop over but I wish we could have stayed longer, what a place with the Royal Palace and it’s gardens.

Parking was a bit of an issue - not unusual in these small towns

Good location, in the heart of the old town, few minutes walking from the palace. Surrounded by small restaurants. Around the corner we even found a parking spot. The room was comfortable and clean, with a small balcony. The small breakfast was included in the bar 2 min away.

The staff was unpleasant and weird. The breakfast was tiny and very basic. The pillow was super flat.

Location very close to the Palacio Real de San Ildefonso, inside the walls of the town. The hostel is in one of the historic buildings, but all the interiors are renovated and in good shape. The room was not very large, but it's all I needed, with a little balcony facing the street. I also enjoyed the breakfast in the near restaurant (of the same owner, I believe).

The guests in the neighbouring room were noisy: since the walls are unfortunately very thin, just their talking aloud and watching the TV after midnight woke me up several times. Luckily the noise stopped after I let them know I was trying to sleep.

Very nice place and facilities, comfortable and cosy rooms.

The breakfast was very simple - a coffee or tea, orang juice, half of a croissant and plain toast. Not much to kick-off a day with ))

Good price. Great location near the palace. Window onto the street. Nice to have a free breakfast nearby.

The shower did not drain quickly, so the water went all over the floor at first, but I figured out an easy remedy. Some street noise, but not bad.

Small but very clean hostal with a charming lady at the reception. We did not expect this good a hostal for this price. Plenty restaurants in the neighborhood.

Everything was fine. Breakfast was in a café but was more than ok.

Breakfast was adequate and good value for the overall price of the room. Beds were comfortable. We were pleasant with the staff and they were pleasant with us. Would stay there again.

Check in time is limited. This didn't affect us though.
