This hotel is located on the beach. We had a room overlooking the sea, we had amazing sunrises and sunsets from our balcony. The food was great, we had half board, the food was more than enough :), every day new dishes for dinner, lots of seafood, meat, vegetables and fruit.

There were no beach towels, also the sunbeds and umbrella on the beach cost 40 euros for the day! I think it should be cheaper or free for people who live in the hotel. Also in this place the sea is shallow, for a holiday with children is fine, but for people who want to swim, you have to go a long way into the deep water.

Facility is really well ran. Maintenance and staff are excellent. This hotel is busy. They put through a lot of people, and yet the process runs smoothly, the furniture is in great shape, and so are the floors, walls, and elevators. Buffet is out of this world amazing. The food is well prepared, tasty, and the staff continuously monitor the supply; the moment a dish is close to running out, there is a staff member bringing out a replacement. The front desk staff are knowledgable, efficient, and kind. I felt that the staff genuinely enjoyed working there because things were ran super efficiently.

Street side appearance of the hotel is not great, but don't let that deter you; the interior is fantastically well maintained. This may be the result of some sort of bureaucratic delineation between maintenance responsibilities of the city and those of the hotel... I felt that breakfast and lunch at the buffet could have been combined into brunch, so that the later rising folks could access it too. With the present separate breakfast and lunch setup there is an awkward dead zone between 10:30 and 1:30 where buffet is closed. I realize that this may not be possible due to logistics.

Golden Donaire was the perfect choice for our Spanish getaway. Nestled right on the stunning coastline, the hotel offered breathtaking views of the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. The spacious, modern rooms were impeccably clean and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing retreat. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was unforgettable. We especially enjoyed the delicious cuisine at the on-site restaurant, which featured fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and stunning ocean views. The hotel's prime beachfront location made it easy to spend our days sunbathing, swimming, and exploring the beautiful coastal surroundings. We highly recommend Golden Donaire to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable beach vacation in Spain.

The hotel's location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, which was a big plus. There were plenty of activities throughout the day for both children and adults, and the evening entertainment was fun and well-organized. I’d recommend the hotel for its great location and family-friendly atmosphere.

I stayed near room 821, and unfortunately, the elevator next to it was quite old and very noisy. Every time the door closed, it made a loud sound that consistently woke me up in the mornings. I hope the hotel considers upgrading or soundproofing the elevator to improve the guest experience.

The hotel position was perfect - on the beach with easy access to sun beds and entertainment

The Location is great, they lend out towels with a deposit to go to the beach or pool, there is a great kids club with nice and kind caretakers which accepts children 2 times at day and 2 times at evening, breakfast was better than expected

The hotel is really comfortable and the air conditioning was good - no problems at all. The shower is the thing I would like to rate separately! Everything is very good - reception, restaurant, animation. The food was really good! Towels seemed to be changed every day. Location was great - you can go swimming in the sea (very comfortable depth) and then return to the pool area - liked this very much. I have seen feedback that the sea is too shallow and the water is hot - not the case for me. I was there in June and the water temperature was comfortable! Finally - Le Pineda is small but the views are very nice and the beach is very nice!

If it is windy and you are on the beach, expect sand everywhere. The sand there is a very small fraction.

We had a fantastic stay at the Golden Donaire Beach Hotel! The food was delicious, and the hotel's location right on the beach made our experience even better. We were pleasantly surprised with the family room we received—it was very spacious, featuring a huge balcony with a lovely partial sea view at no extra cost. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Best location for beach holidays though the sand wasn’t loose white, but water was very clear.

The food was excellent we were h/b and the choice and quality was superb. Very comfortable bed and daily cleaning services excellent All staff very friendly and helpful particularly reception.

The local area wasn't very appealing so we used the local bus service to get out and about to Cambrils, Tarragona, Salou etc. But no real negatives about the hotel.
