Great experience at Grand Palas. Rooms are wide and comfortable, I asked for a double bed and they immediately accommodated. Hotel gives you access to spa facilities which are quite pleasant, featuring a variety of options to bathe and relax in. Staff was always very helpful and welcoming, check-in, parking and overall experience with staff went quite smoothly. Even with a busy hotel, rooms are quiet and you get a deep sense of rest and relaxation, which is not the case for most hotels in the area, especially such a loud/crowded one like La Pineda/Salou. You really find yourself in a quiet little paradise and disconnected from a the loud and vibrant surroundings

My only minus to this trip is the fact that the listing shows a room with a spacious terrace and we received one with a balcony instead. Apparently both rooms have the same rate but when I asked there were no more terrace rooms available. While the balcony was nice enough, it would be good to specify the type of terrace or balcony you are paying for. Looking at the hotel room pictures, this was immediately one of the features that encouraged us to choose this hotel, in order to have a private terrace to relax and sunbathe for our anniversary.

Spa was great, and the room was spacious, and the breakfast was ok but not a lot of options.

The hotel is not 5 stars, some broken things or scratches on the wall, old rusty showers etc... and no smart TV, only cable

We had an amazing experience. We purchased the cheapest room but they upgraded us to a deluxe room for free. We had unlimited access to the spa (regardless of the room) which was incredible and Adults Only after 18:30h. We ended up having dinner at the hotel: it was high quality buffet food. The quality of the food and drink were very high. The overall decor and building was very nice.

The key card for the room stopped working on 3 occasions which means walking all the way back to reception to get it reset. Also there was conflicting information with using a head cap for the spa as when I first attempted to purchase one on my first day and time in the spa the receptionist said I did not need one as I had very short shaved hair. Then a couple days later was told I must have one to be in the spa, I had no means to purchase one without going all the way back to room to get payment and so left the spa. The lifeguard also came across quite rude when I was trying to explain how I had been told different information earlier in the week.

Great hotel in great location a couple of minutes walk from the beach. The Bedroom was huge, modern and very comfortable, couldn't fault it. The bar and restaurant were good and the included breakfast was very good. Great choice. We booked and paid for secure parking and had a great spot on the foyer with a bollard which was good. Lovely walk along the sea front.

Beautiful hotel with lots of facilities and not too packed. Loved the 1 night of entertainment as nice and peaceful if you like going to bed early. Probably would be busy in july/August but we stayed 1st week of June so perfect for us

Location was perfect, rooms very nice, spa really good.

Food was all buffet and not everything that was supposed to be hot was hot. We got a couples package in the spa. The room we were in we were cold during the massage, no hot towels over your body. When lady was finished she just walked out and we didn’t know if we were done. Lack of communication.

Breakfast was very good but foods that should be hot tended to be a little on the cool side. Juice and coffee first class. Nice range of fruit. Cereals were fine

We with our 10 y.o boy took the Family room. There is no privacy in bathroom at all. Glass wall (with semitransparent blinds that doesn’t work at all) + glass door with no blinds at all. It is very strange hotel room.
