Hotel is 50 meters from the beach and main attraction street. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner are great and delicious. Restaurant is very clean and staff all around you to help. And there was no smell of food, always fresh smell. Room is clean and comfortable. Swimming poll big enough to have chill out. Hotel management remember and prepare birthday cake for my daughter, also decorated room for surprise her. If you are going by your car, try to use C zone, it is 15 Euros for 24/h, others cost more than 30€, there is one just 200 meters away to hotel. I highly recommend Alegria Mariner, we really enjoyed stay here for 5 days. Thank you Alegria Mariner.

Nothing.

It was really close to the beach. It was the 3rd week of April...nobody swimming in the sea or pool yet as too cool. Not far to walk to the shops. ( only good for souvenirs or essentials like towels, swimwear, groceries). A few supermarkets nearby. You can walk 20 mins to the bus station & travel to places like Girona airport, Barcelona, Girona etc or get the green bus that stops at bus stops along the streets to take you to the Bus station to save walking. Scooped Ice-cream is €3 approx, per scoop in alot of the Ice-cream Stands. You can buy tickets for boat excursions down at the promenade, to the right( as you look out to the sea). There are police travelling around frequently. We didn't see any trouble. It's a lovely spot for a beach holiday. ☀ ☀ ☀ there's a hairdryer in the room.

No kettle in the room. We went out & bought 1 & 2 mugs for tea/ coffee. Buffet breakfast, was o.k. The sausages are not like Irish sausage...not browned. The rashers are very fatty streaky. The bread & pastries were super fresh. The coffee quality from the machines was really bad. Luckily I had brought sachets of Nescafe.( was better than all the types of coffee from the machines). We had scrambled eggs & fried tomatoes every morning. You could have boiled too if you preferred. The staff were all friendly. Breakfast finishes by 10.30 a.m. They close right then. The butter was nice too. You can also have fruit, salad items, cheeses & cold meat selection @ breakfast. Also yogurts( lemon, strawberry or natural) and cereals. The orange juice from the machine was nice too.

It felt like we were staying at a major hotel brand as everything was up to standard: The room smelled great and was always kept clean by the staff. The AC was really nice to have for some hotter October nights. The shower was spacious, and there was always hot water immediately available and a great water pressure. We loved the breakfast buffet and it didn’t get boring over the week we were staying there. Off-season parking was free (otherwise 15 euros per day). They had great beach towels available for a small deposit.

Our towels got replaced more often than needed (even when we didn’t put them on the floor). But we didn’t get any new hand soap when we ran out of it. Also the room planning was a bit odd as we didn’t have enough space to pull out the desk chair before it touched the bed.

The hotel is in great location, literally a minute away from the beach, shops and bars. Room was spacious with a nice view. Breakfast ok but the same every day. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dinner was a disaster, it was literally very little food suitable for me and I'm not a fussy eater. Nothing nice for desert either apart from jelly, yoghurt, rice pudding and mousses. There's literally no insulation in the room you can hear everything from people next door especially if they're laud like ours were. No Wifi whatsoever it was looking to log in every 5 mins and I gave up using it after a few hours. I booked twin room and got double but that didn't bother me that much.

Just come back from a solo 4-night stay, stayed in room 362. I loved it! Will definitely coming back if I visit Lloret de mar again. CLEANLINESS All areas were kept immaculately clean. Saw the pool being cleaned every morning. Housekeeper came every morning. The poolside was always very clean, ashtrays emptied often, glasses taken away etc. STAFF Staff were friendly, helpful and always seemed to be working hard, nobody stood around doing nothing. HOTEL The layout of the hotel was fantastic. Elevator worked perfectly. Reception area very large with lots of seating. Locked luggage safe cupboard to use. Checkout was 10am but my flight home wasn't until 10pm so they allowed me to still use the hotel facilities to wait (though the do cut off your all-inclusive wrist band). POOL I did not use the pool but sat poolside at least once a day. BAR Good selection of drinks to chose from from the poolside bar (only drinks with a heart next to them were included on the all inclusive - all the others were at a 50% discount for all inclusive guests). LOCATION The location was great. Less than a 5 minute, flat walk to the beach. Main shop/restaurant area was a 10-15 minute, flat, walk away. This hotel is on the quieter, more family focused side of Lloret de mar, the other side being a lot more clubby and loud. DINING ROOM The restaurant was okay, nothing to write home about. Options changed each day with a few staples remaining (pizza, chips, plain pasta etc). Buffet area always kept clean and tidy. Plenty of seating and also a bar within the restaurant. ROOM The room was lovely, the bed very comfy, air con in the room, plenty of lighting, nice bathroom and fully working shower. Bottles of water and some snacks provided as I entered the room. In-room fridge nice and cool. Plenty of room in there for 1-2 people. Overall I loved my stay here and will be coming back :)

BUFFET FOOD TO BE HOTTER I would have liked the buffet food to be hotter. A lot of the time when you sat down to eat it, a lot of it was only luke warm. I would have liked it to be kept hot, or at least the plates warmed. AIR CON NOT COLD ENOUGH The air con in the room can only be set to a min temp of 21. That was fine for the time I stayed there, but at peak summer I can see this being an issue, it was also a little hard to work the thermostat and instructions not very clear. POOL VIEW FROM THE ROAD I did not use the pool during my stay, mainly because of the view from the roadside. People wait outside of the restaurant for transport etc and can see straight in. I would have liked this to be more private, maybe some privacy screening needs to be implemented?

Location

Our room and bathroom were very outdated and in poor condition. We had read reviews mentioning beautiful renovated rooms with egg chairs on the balconies, which was one of the reasons we booked. Unfortunately, we were given an old, run-down room instead. Another major issue was that the hotel did not address the noise from young people partying and disturbing other guests nearly around the clock.

Great location, on the silent side of Lloret beach. 2min walk to the beach, really convenient. Comfy bed and great AC, had no issues with anything. Staff were very nice and helpful every time we asked. Overall, it was a great relaxing stay

The noise in the dining area!! You need to train your staff to not handle cutlery and plates so loudly. Also, you need to pay for drinks even if you have the dinner plan included. You have to buy even the water, unless you ask for tap water, which some of the staff (one older lady, apparently in chief?) is reluctant to give. She was also quite rude to the younger staff, sad to see. Everything else was great!

ALEGRIA Mariner offers an unforgettable experience, characterized by its hospitality, delicious food. We liked that they answered all the questions sent before arriving at the hotel. I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. I had a clean room on the 6th floor, with a fridge and a large, very comfortable bed. Thank you for the sea view room, gorgeous. Alegria Mariner offers breakfast and dinner, Swedish buffet style in the restaurant. The hotel is close to the promenade and the sandy beach.

The staff were brilliant so polite and friendly all the time, they took time out to speak and say hello. It was my 40th birthday whilst we were there even and can back to balloons in the room one day. The room was spotlessly clean everyday. Beds were super comfy, the staff continuously were clean and collecting plates and glasses. Plenty of sun beds and tables to sit at.

The food was not great same kind of thing each night. Luke warm on some occasions but there is a microwave. Breakfast was fine couldn’t ask for more. There was music one of the nights but I think some entertainment would make it almost perfect.

Location is perfect - just couple of minutes from the beach and many shops / restaurants. Staff was very helpful and polite. We really enjoyed the view from the balcony and a swimming pool. Breakfast was ok. To sum up it is a really great value for money.

The only disturbing thing was weird unpleasant smell in the main lobby. Also, it would be great to have a coffee machine or at least an electric kettle in the room.
