Location was great. Within 20 minute walking distance of most of the attractions we wanted to visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wife was bit by something on our first night. There were a few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and my wife squashed a bug in our room.

staff were absolutely amazing; polite, well mannered and well presented, accommodating, kind, patient and almost all bilingual. the shared facilities were just as nice as the pictures, the rooms are massive, and the location was absolutely perfect for exploring madrid for the first time.
only comment i could make about my stay is that my bathroom omitted a sewage smell from the toilets in the morning which was annoying but would dissipate quickly after opening a window. i absolutely could have complained about this and could have gotten a better room, but because my short and every other aspect of my stay at the hotel was so good that I didn't want to bother the staff.

The hotel feels more like a 4-star hotel, just without the amenities. Seems refurbished. The Staff is friendly, and the cleaning staff is attentive. I always returned to a clean and made-up room, even though I left at random times of the day. The Hotel is in a top location with multiple metro lines close by. The Breakfast buffet is nice and has all the essentials, but the selection is nothing to write home about, either. Lovely roof terrace as well, which doesn't seem advertised in the pictures? Overall, I could see myself staying here again.
The rooms themselves seemed noise-isolated, but the same could not be said about the room door. It is one of those doors that might as well not have been there. I could hear everything happening in the hallway, which is not suitable for me as a light sleeper. I was so glad for my noise-cancelling headphones during my stay

Beautiful hotel, perfectly clean throughout. The room was so comfortable and the location is great - only a few minutes walk from the metro and cafes/restaurants/shops on the doorstep. The staff were very friendly.
The noise at night was terrible and kept us awake throughout our stay. This wasn't the fault of the hotel or staff but our floor seemed to be full of people going in and out, slamming doors, shouting and partying until 5am. The hotel was perfect but our lack of sleep did affect our stay. The walls were very thin so just be aware. Maybe some quiet hours should be enforced.

The hotel is beautiful and colorful in a very tasteful way, fitting to Madrid. The location couldn’t be better, close to everything yet just outside the crowded touristy area for a bit better food. The staff was just so friendly and kind, I was traveling solo with my toddler and everyone went out of their way to help me and make us feel welcome. The breakfast manager was particularly amazing, fetching milk and little utensils for her when she was quite hungry. I would love to come back to this hotel.
The rooftop is beautiful. Would have been amazing to be able to get a drink or some food up there.

Close to Plaza de España and Gran Via, and the royal palace, cathedral, and galleries, this is a conveniently located hotel, which appears to have had a bit of a refit recently, judging by some reviews I read. Also near a station on the Metro, which is easy to use. I had a generously sized room and a comfy bed. I used the room service ordering online using a QR code. The food appeared to come from outside the hotel, yet arrived in good time and was reasonably priced (for room service).
The strip the hotel is on is a little ropy, but not scarily so. The aircon was a little fierce. Not a great view from my room.

This was a perfect stay as a couple and that just needed a cool, clean space to sleep in while over for a weekend visit. It’s modern, clean and the air conditioning worked (thank god). It’s in such a good location next to the palace with a beautiful rooftop bar two doors down from it and a cafe on the corner to get a little morning coffee. Staff were friendly too. Perfect if you plan on spending all your days and evenings out exploring as it doesn’t have any typical hotel facilities, so if you just need a room then it’s everything you’ll need. I would say it’s great value for money too if you consider it per person.

It was a great experience! The hotel staff (reception, room service and breakfast) was kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. The location is ideal, a short walk away from Plaza de España and the Gran Vía, with lots of public transportation options nearby, making it easy to access the city center. The breakfast is great, with fruits, hot/cold drinks and a good choice of bread and pastries. The rooms were big, clean, the beds were comfortable and no noise was heard from the corridor/other rooms. Ours had an amazing view of the Palacio Real de Madrid, which was definitely a plus. For our last day, the hotel stored our luggage, allowing us to enjoy our last day in Madrid.
Nothing.

The hotel is situated very close to the Plaza de Espana, one of the most lively park and transportation hub in Madrid, served by 2 metro lanes. Also very close to the royal palace, and within walking distane to the dowtown. The staff is very friendly and professional. For breakfast we were able to choose from wide variety of options (cereals, american pencake and dressing, croissant, different type of breads, honey, jam, salami, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit and vegetables, churros, etc, etc. The rooms were big, the family room offered privacy for both parents and children. The hotel offered an airport transfer service. All rooms were clean and the kind staff kept them clean.
The capacity of the elevators are not always sufficient (2 smaller and slower ones for the 8 storey building). Setting permanent water temperature at the shower was a challenge, after setting the desired temperature it get colder or hotter within 30 secs. Other than that the hotel is a great place to stay id you would like to discover the wonderful Madrid.

This is one of my 3 favorite hotels in Madrid, it's right near Principe Pio station which is convenient. The highlights are the staff, who are without exception always friendly and accommodating to reasonable requests. I love the big lounge room off of the reception area, it has some over the top decor which is lively and fun. Usually there's nobody using it so I like to use that room for short meetings when visiting. The breakfast is also really nice, it's worth it, there are some unusual options (freshly made pancakes) and the staff in the dining room are very helpful.
The one improvement I would recommend is adding more features to the in-room TV unit, I believe it's one of the only hotels where it's not possible to "cast" from a device, and I prefer to use my own YouTube or other entertainment rather than television.
