The room was great value for money. The room was nothing fancy, however the hotel itself had fantastic facilities and was in a great location. Walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to see in Madrid. The little coffee shop within the hotel made amazing “Melbourne” quality coffee. The gym was small but well equipped with clean, modern equipment. The rooftop was nice, although the pool was freezing! We didn’t try the breakfast as it wasn’t included in our booking however it looked good!

$50 euro (minimum food and drink spend) to hire a daybed on the rooftop was a bit of a rip off I think. We were going to do it so that we could relax one afternoon, however we were advised you couldn’t even eat there and that you had to go downstairs to eat. The menu was very limited. Also the sun sets on the other side of the building in the afternoon and the beds end up in the shade, so we decided it just wasn’t worth it.

Amenities and atmosphere was really good. Pool has a gorgeous view and location was really good for access to the main city center.

As a holiday guest not a working visitor each morning was horrible hearing the doors slam at the hallway locations for each person as they went to work making it impossible to sleep. It should be asked what the purpose of the booking is for and holiday guests and working guest should be in different areas.

Excellent design both in the hotel communal spaces and in the room. Room was spacious and well equipped with amenities including good coffee. Gym was usable (although needs more weights) and pool area refreshing with nice design. Hotel breakfast had all the necessary basics and was never too crowded when I was there.

Room didn't have a safe. This is a strange choice to be left out since the room was otherwise well equipped with fridge and coffeemaker. Food (and drinks) were not of great value in the rooftop restaurant as the quality didn't match the price. Also at the breakfast, hot items were lukewarm at best and it's the first time in a hotel that I decided not to eat the eggs again after tasting them. Hotel staff is young and based on my interactions with them, perhaps somewhat inexperienced in hospitality industry.

Staff was friendly. They went the extra mile to make our stay special. The facilities are excellent, and breakfast is superb. Sebastian, in reception, was efficient and kind. Susana at breakfast was very accommodating. Every member of staff was always happy to help. The hotel has a young vibe and is very inclusive. The facilities cater for all needs and tastes. The rooms are always very clean, and the top-up of the tea tray is daily. The location is perfect! I highly recommend this hotel

A recommendation is to add a curtain that is see-through so you can keep the black out curtains open and not be seen from rooms across in the other building.. it feels a bit exposed

This hotel is gorgeous! Highly recommend. Great location - about a 10 minute walk from Plaza de Oriente and you can see the palace from the rooftop pool! Also right next to the Templo de Debod for a magical sunset. I also loved wandering around the park opposite. Great spot for bird and people watching! So many thoughtful touches at the hotel and the service was exceptional. When I arrived there was a special handwritten note on the desk, discreet condoms on the bedside table (just in case), water and tasty snacks. I also really appreciated that if I spoke to the staff members in (admittedly, broken) Spanish, they responded in Spanish and where patient with me even though they all speak perfect, fluent English. I was a bit worried from the name that this would be a 'party hostel' but the word 'social' here actually refers to the fact the hotel is kind of a 'social enterprise' - it's a Bcorp, with a number of policies for people and planet. Would also highly recommend the restaurant - all the food was beautifully prepared and delicious although service can be a tad slow at busy times and there are limited vegetarian protein options. I would recommend to travellers to take an Uber from the airport as it's cheaper than the taxis at the airport taxi rank.

We loved our stay - rooms were a great size and beds were super comfy. Shower was amazing too and lovely shower get, shampoo & conditioner were provided. Facilities were great as well - pool isn’t big enough for swimming, but plenty big enough for lots of people to dip in and cool off. Staff were all lovely, and the coffee was great! Didn’t have breakfast but the lunch and bar food we had was all fantastic.

Our room was on the bottom floor and had quite small windows which meant the room was very dark. Great for sleeping but a bit tricky for getting ready.

The vibrant atmosphere and young people running this place has a very low treshold that makes it easy and comfortable to stay and enjoy your time. Great shower and body products to indulge yourself, while water and coffee is available in the room. You have everything you need ; like a small fridge not loaded (luckily no silly minibar). Great airco and Wifi. The perfect stay to visit Madrid!

The bedlinnen didn't get refreshed during our week stay although the bed was newly made but at 38°C and up,.....

The location was convenient — close to the park and within walking distance to the city center. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and delicious options. Everyday cleaning service.

Our room was extremely dark. Despite the modern design, it lacked natural light — the walls were painted black, and the tiny window faced another building very closely, which felt sad and uncomfortable. Also, as it was my first time in Madrid, unfortunately I personally found the city rather dull and not worth staying more than a day.

The hotel exceeded our expectations: not only it's modern, clean and has a peculiar design, it's also very conveniently located (we walked to all main landmarks) and has all the necessary facilities within it's premises (a bar, a restaurant, a pool, also a laundry room). The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they really go an extra mile to make your stay comfortable. The room itself was clean and tidy, with thoughtful little touches like free water, tissues, really nice branded toiletries. We had a great stay 😊

There is nothing we didn't like. I would maybe suggest adding some hooks or rails for towels in the sink area, because there is no place to store them. The building we were in kind of... shaked (?) when our neighbours slammed their doors. But I don't think anything could be done about it and it was a minor thing anyway.

This hotel is unique and unlike any other "traditional" hotel. The bed is very comfortable, which was really the highlight of the stay. Welcome treats were really a nice touch, and the staff was great. The restaurant was good and came in handy since there are no good restaurants nearby. If you are traveling with children or you are 50+, you may reconsider. Having condoms by the bedside took us by surprise. The location was a bit far from most attractions. We booked this location because we wanted to be near the Royal Palace, but it was a bit of a short hike that required climbing upstairs. All English channels on TV were not working, but this is typical throughout Spain.
