Location was great. Within 20 minute walking distance of most of the attractions we wanted to visit. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wife was bit by something on our first night. There were a few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and my wife squashed a bug in our room.

The hotel feels more like a 4-star hotel, just without the amenities. Seems refurbished. The Staff is friendly, and the cleaning staff is attentive. I always returned to a clean and made-up room, even though I left at random times of the day. The Hotel is in a top location with multiple metro lines close by. The Breakfast buffet is nice and has all the essentials, but the selection is nothing to write home about, either. Lovely roof terrace as well, which doesn't seem advertised in the pictures? Overall, I could see myself staying here again.

The rooms themselves seemed noise-isolated, but the same could not be said about the room door. It is one of those doors that might as well not have been there. I could hear everything happening in the hallway, which is not suitable for me as a light sleeper. I was so glad for my noise-cancelling headphones during my stay

It was a great experience! The hotel staff (reception, room service and breakfast) was kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. The location is ideal, a short walk away from Plaza de España and the Gran Vía, with lots of public transportation options nearby, making it easy to access the city center. The breakfast is great, with fruits, hot/cold drinks and a good choice of bread and pastries. The rooms were big, clean, the beds were comfortable and no noise was heard from the corridor/other rooms. Ours had an amazing view of the Palacio Real de Madrid, which was definitely a plus. For our last day, the hotel stored our luggage, allowing us to enjoy our last day in Madrid.

The hotel is situated very close to the Plaza de Espana, one of the most lively park and transportation hub in Madrid, served by 2 metro lanes. Also very close to the royal palace, and within walking distane to the dowtown. The staff is very friendly and professional. For breakfast we were able to choose from wide variety of options (cereals, american pencake and dressing, croissant, different type of breads, honey, jam, salami, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit and vegetables, churros, etc, etc. The rooms were big, the family room offered privacy for both parents and children. The hotel offered an airport transfer service. All rooms were clean and the kind staff kept them clean.

The capacity of the elevators are not always sufficient (2 smaller and slower ones for the 8 storey building). Setting permanent water temperature at the shower was a challenge, after setting the desired temperature it get colder or hotter within 30 secs. Other than that the hotel is a great place to stay id you would like to discover the wonderful Madrid.

• No room service, no bar/restaurant at the hotel, which would improve the overall guest experience so much. A beautiful lobby and rooftop, but without bar…👎🏽 • Room felt small and too warm, we could not change the temperature on the termostat. • Uncomfortable pillows. • Value for money is not good…but we stayed in the period of the tourism fair, so maybe the rates were higher than usual. • Breakfast was very poor, only 1 version of eggs (scrabled), there were no omlettes, cooked eggs etc. There were no much bread options, same basic thing every day. • Elevator is too small for that size of the hotel. When there are many guests, the elevator does not work, you cannot call it to come up, and you wait infinitelly.

The hotel is located next o Plaza Espana and the Royal Castle. You can walk to the most distant part of central Madrid within 2,5 km. The rooms are very quite during the nights, the beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet very nice. We had somme issues with the heating, but the hotel staff quickly solved the issue. The reception ordered a taxi to the airport (33 Euros) and ensured you were transported to the correct time. We can only praise this hotel for our complete stay! We had our dinners in one of the two bars next to the hotel (turn left when get out): Laredo or Las Delicias del Jamon. They may look very unempressive, but the food and bevarages are OK. The guests are locals who pay for their own food. Enjoy the vibe!

A few minor details: we missed a handle when we had to go from the shower in the bathtub to the bathroom (slippery bathtub because of soap). The faucet above the sink was not well placed and made it difficult to wash your hands (this is seen in other places in Spain as well).

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The reception staff went above and beyond, allowing us to check in earlier than the usual time, which was greatly appreciated. The room was quite spacious, providing plenty of room to move around comfortably. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the overall cleanliness of the room was very good. The location is another highlight, as it’s conveniently close to the city center, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. There’s also a supermarket and a mall just a short walk away, which added to our convenience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel was in a good location for visiting the palace. The staff were friendly and very helpful, we were offered a choice of different rooms which we could see before accepting. The room was a good size and the towels in the bathroom were amazingly thick and good quality. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room. The bedroom and bathroom were cleaned every day. Overall, we were satisfied and felt that it was good value for money.

Our room was exceptionally hot and we couldn't seem to adjust the heating. We mentioned it at reception and it was definitely better on the following nights but we still could not adjust the temperature ourselves. The road outside is exceptionally busy, even during all hours of the night, and so it was too loud to keep the window open.

Great location close to buses and walking to places like the Palace and Gran Via. The bed was comfortable and big. Although the big bed made the room a bit cramped. Having a kettle and cups in the room was excellent.

The shower was very hard to regulate. The water was either extremely hot or cold. A lot of wasted water is getting it a safe temperature. We stayed 4 nights and only got 2 small bottles of water on the first day. Better not to give at all. Would be better to have a water filter machine in the hallway and provide refillable bottles or use our own

Cleanliness, extremely friendly staff, room decor, can turn main room lights on/off from the bed, ample storage space. Close to a shopping center, some cafes/bars and convenience stores.

View of royal palace was obstructed by tall Rees in front of the windows even on the 4th floor. Hotel employee said it was responsibility of the city. . Fridge didn't cool much and had no controls. If you open the room window a bit, the air conditioner automatically turns off and requires you to close the window and restart it manually using the thermostat. Called front desk to find about that.
