The room was great value for money. The room was nothing fancy, however the hotel itself had fantastic facilities and was in a great location. Walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to see in Madrid. The little coffee shop within the hotel made amazing “Melbourne” quality coffee. The gym was small but well equipped with clean, modern equipment. The rooftop was nice, although the pool was freezing! We didn’t try the breakfast as it wasn’t included in our booking however it looked good!

$50 euro (minimum food and drink spend) to hire a daybed on the rooftop was a bit of a rip off I think. We were going to do it so that we could relax one afternoon, however we were advised you couldn’t even eat there and that you had to go downstairs to eat. The menu was very limited. Also the sun sets on the other side of the building in the afternoon and the beds end up in the shade, so we decided it just wasn’t worth it.

Amenities and atmosphere was really good. Pool has a gorgeous view and location was really good for access to the main city center.

As a holiday guest not a working visitor each morning was horrible hearing the doors slam at the hallway locations for each person as they went to work making it impossible to sleep. It should be asked what the purpose of the booking is for and holiday guests and working guest should be in different areas.

Excellent design both in the hotel communal spaces and in the room. Room was spacious and well equipped with amenities including good coffee. Gym was usable (although needs more weights) and pool area refreshing with nice design. Hotel breakfast had all the necessary basics and was never too crowded when I was there.

Room didn't have a safe. This is a strange choice to be left out since the room was otherwise well equipped with fridge and coffeemaker. Food (and drinks) were not of great value in the rooftop restaurant as the quality didn't match the price. Also at the breakfast, hot items were lukewarm at best and it's the first time in a hotel that I decided not to eat the eggs again after tasting them. Hotel staff is young and based on my interactions with them, perhaps somewhat inexperienced in hospitality industry.

Felt like home tbh, the room was so comfortable and equipped with all necessities. The breakfast was exceptional with a lot of choices and varieties to match everyone's desire (btw i skipped lunch after having a good breakfast). With metro and bus stops in the vicinity, you can easily reach anywhere swiftly. The gym was small but nice with the necessary equipment for a light workout. The area surrounding the pool is big and furnished with sofas and chairs for a relaxed sunbathing. You can ask for towels from the reception instead of bringing yours.

The pool was small and not clean, so try to get a dip as early as you can to avoid the crowd. I hope the administration invests more and expands it.

Such a cool place. Large meet & greet type reception area, with cafe, ping pong table, games, chillout area, TV room and LOADS of other stuff. Really great vibe. The staff are honestly SO welcoming & genuinely friendly. When my bang average Spanish had been exhausted, the girl switched to perfect English to help complete the simple check in process. Other staff literally would introduce themselves eg in the lift, hows it going, seem interested in where we're from, give advice on the city etc etc. SO nice. There was a small roof top pool with beds, loungers etc not that big, but I suppose enough to escape the hottest part of the day (August in Madrid!). Bar on the floor below too. We will go back to this super cool city in the future, and will not hesitate in booking this place again. Thank you so much to everyone for such a great stay X

Location was in a great spot, easy to get around as it’s super close to public transport (5-10min walk to the metro, bus stop right out the front). The staff were super helpful and friendly, food from both downstairs restaurant and upstairs bar was really good. Reasonably priced drinks and food. Complimentary on-site self serve laundromat was also a great touch.

Aircon struggled to get the room below 26°C and had a loud rattle when on high fan. The pool was essentially unusable when we were there as the roof top was shoulder to shoulder and the pool completely full of people. In saying that, there was a heat wave with 38°C+ days.

- Check in was a breeze and every person who I spoke with at the check in counter were beyond hospitable. - There is a pool that actually has a nice view of the palace in the background. It isn't too deep or large, but enough to cool down in the hot summer and that's what I really needed anyways. - They serve food at the bar and there was a lovely French server who was incredibly friendly and helpful. - The AC in the bedroom was amazing - seriously, so damn grateful. - They provide conditioner, shampoo, and body wash in the bathrooms, with a great black tea fragrance. Seriously, it was amazing. - Free laundromat! You just need to download the app but the people at check-in were kind in instructing me how to do so. - TONS of space to lounge around. Like....no shortage of space to lay down and read a book at a ll. - Great wifi. - Great location near the Plaza de Espana.

- One bartender named Juan was kinda rude when I went down from the 5th floor to the 4th. I think he thought I was coming from the pool late but yeah, he kinda made a face. Meh, some people are grouchy.

Staff was friendly. They went the extra mile to make our stay special. The facilities are excellent, and breakfast is superb. Sebastian, in reception, was efficient and kind. Susana at breakfast was very accommodating. Every member of staff was always happy to help. The hotel has a young vibe and is very inclusive. The facilities cater for all needs and tastes. The rooms are always very clean, and the top-up of the tea tray is daily. The location is perfect! I highly recommend this hotel

A recommendation is to add a curtain that is see-through so you can keep the black out curtains open and not be seen from rooms across in the other building.. it feels a bit exposed

This hotel is gorgeous! Highly recommend. Great location - about a 10 minute walk from Plaza de Oriente and you can see the palace from the rooftop pool! Also right next to the Templo de Debod for a magical sunset. I also loved wandering around the park opposite. Great spot for bird and people watching! So many thoughtful touches at the hotel and the service was exceptional. When I arrived there was a special handwritten note on the desk, discreet condoms on the bedside table (just in case), water and tasty snacks. I also really appreciated that if I spoke to the staff members in (admittedly, broken) Spanish, they responded in Spanish and where patient with me even though they all speak perfect, fluent English. I was a bit worried from the name that this would be a 'party hostel' but the word 'social' here actually refers to the fact the hotel is kind of a 'social enterprise' - it's a Bcorp, with a number of policies for people and planet. Would also highly recommend the restaurant - all the food was beautifully prepared and delicious although service can be a tad slow at busy times and there are limited vegetarian protein options. I would recommend to travellers to take an Uber from the airport as it's cheaper than the taxis at the airport taxi rank.

We booked 3 nights under 3 different bookings as we decided last minute to book an extra night. We stayed there for a night and moved to another part of Madrid to be closer to an event venue (I'd like to note that the location was great because we were a 10min walk from a main shopping street. We wouldve stayed there for our whole trip except our event was too far from this hotel but we knew this booking) Staff were amazing for accommodating us the 2nd time we checked in. They let us check in early because our room was ready and also accommodated us when we explained we added a third night to our second booking. They were able to ensure we were in the same room which was great.

The first room we stayed in had a window on the roof and no blind so the sun woke us up in the morning. The second room we were in when we checked in had a blind so it was ideal
