Firstly the reception staff are excellently welcoming. Greeted with warmth and happiness, any questions they will answer and help as much as possible. The hotel in itself is beautifully kept and the building well maintained, I love the fact you walk in from outside and it's well air conditioned, clean and contemporary. Gym facilities and a wellness centre for relaxation and massages. Sorry next time I shall indulge and book in. The service staff, responsible for the ensuring rooms are made up and cleaned are excellent, very welcoming and embracing. Very polite and professional and even though in my room, still can still be present too. Trustworthy, beautiful personalities and just generally very nice people to be around at any time. I am a solo traveller but this hotel by far is where I have been for the past 3 years. I stay here while I celebrate San Joan and honestly the location is fantastic 10 minutes right out of the gate and you're heading to the quieter location of Cambrils, air of caution though for the street vendors selling counterfeit goods, do not purchase from these, they are not bargains and you are aiding a lot of criminal activities in the background, but also enabling a level of illegal working of Senegalese and Somalian unethical ways of life which the local policia and guardia de civil are working hard to crackdown on, across the road is the gelato parlour and the harbour perfect for the water taxi into Cambrils main town which again is a fantastic day to taste fantastic foods and experience the Catalan culture. Left out of the hotel and you will embrace the full typical tourist night life of Salou. It's very hustling and bustling, the hotel's location enables the opportunity to feel you are going out and able to come away from the heavy footfall.

Having to come home after such a lovely 7 nights away. I needed to return to spend lots of love with my husky and parrot.

It's located super close to the beach and bus stops that can take you to Cambrills, Salou Center and even Barcelona Airport. Swimming pool and included breakfast were great addition. It was inevitable to bring sand into the room but it was cleaned everyday. Fresh towels changed when requested. Breakfast was a bit bland and repetitive, but in general the hotel was great value for its price.

Our room was more ascetic than shown on the photos. We had only one small bedside table for 2 people. I assumed we'd be able to get an iron or laundry service but none of that was available unfortunately. Also no glasses in the room, again something I assumed was a necessity as seen it in almost every room I stayed.

I like my stay in hotel Planas. We had nice room with nice view. I really like location. When we came back from beach we had always clean bed and bathroom. Sitting in front the hotel was very nice and specially in the evening very relaxing and nice lights.

I'm very happy and positive person. Staff specially in breakfast was not smiling not happy . Maybe its age because they are old or is 0 English. We stay there for 8 nights and breakfast was everyday same and one morning was very busy and we didn't had a clean table. One morning I ask for ice coffe and I get cup of ice and espresso :D but coffe was very good. Everything else was very good. For sure we will come back.

I was staying in a single room without a balcony which I thought I would have a problem with but after 10 minutes it didn’t bother me at all because the room was just for sleeping in, the shower was powerful and very hot so no issues with at all, check in was very easy I think I started with a boss who passed me onto a younger coworker and he very nice and told me all I needed to know about the hotel and it’s facilities. I was looking for a chilled holiday and this place was ideal for it, 3 minutes to the beach and any shops restaurants and bars are very easy to get to

I had a very comfortable stay. Additionally the reception lady called Muriel was more than helpful helping me try to get a taxi in the pouring rain. She came to find me also and make sure I was okay. I will definately return and overall treatment of staff in general was good. The location is ideal near to the beach and it was affordable. The room was clean and spacious for one person Room 103 I recomment.

Not much choice with the breakfast and the scrambled egg was not good. Did not look inviting with lack of fruit salad and yogs. But that would not stop me from returning.

Room was small but had everything we needed. Clean and nice swimming pool, great location, good breakfast.

They didn't keep our luggage for two hours after checkout, I had never seen this in any hotel before. They offer us to use their lockers, which costs you 2€. It's not a lot of money, but I think it gives a really bad image to make their customers pay for this, even if it's just for a couple of hours. Also, more minor thing, we couldn't choose a double bed, they gave us two single ones.

We was with my man 1 week. --The location is convenient, literally in 3 minutes the beach. You can throw on a towel and go to the beach directly from the hotel. --Breakfast is monotonous. There was nothing new every day. But there was everything you needed for a snack: scrambled eggs, bacon, buns that could be fried, cheese, yogurt and fruit, cookies, coffee and tea. You can eat a hearty meal. -- When we moved in, we were received by a very friendly receptionist. Positive and friendly, but the others were not very smiling. They seem to be very tired. -- In hotel was very clean.The cleaners were wonderful. They cleaned every day, changed towels. They always gave extra towels. They cleaned up very quickly.

--The staff was very tired and I wanted them to rest more. Especially a man who is constantly at breakfasts, lunches and dinners. He worked non-stop for a whole week. It's not good, it's a pity that it is. Please give this man a vacation. -- It's a pity that there were no glasses in the room. I wanted to drink water or wine, but I didn't have any.

The breakfast was lovely part from a little bit repetitive.Maybe less scrambled egg and more boiled or fried eggs would have made a change and maybe a few yogurt added on but apart from that it was lovely and fresh with plenty options on breads and juices coffee and teas .overall very happy

The only one thing I didn’t like is the showers in the rooms were very confined when Entering as the sliding doors were tight and not been a twig(athlete) of a man it would be nice if larger showers were available.

Breakfast. Monday & Tuesday bread rolls & pastries were stale scrambled eggs dried up. we did appreciate that hotel wasn't busy but stale food just not acceptable Also, when booking, I choose double bed but only got twin room.

Very good location , just a little road noise in the morning but slept fine . Breakfast very good and plenty of choices , fresh orange juice perfecto.

No real faults as a happy time spent relaxing and that part of Salou close to shops and the beach just over the road , so very pleased as pool was also a big hit .
