This is our third time staying at this hotel. We love the peace and quiet, the staff and the location. The roof top pool is always quiet with sunbeds if you want to relax and a great view from up there too. The hotel is undergoing some changes just now so the reception area has changed to the other side of the building. This area could do with a seating area for guests as it seems like a waste of space but maybe that is in the pipeline. The staff are always helpful if you want anything ie we asked for a kettle in the room. The cleaners are marvellous, with bed sheets and clean towels every day even although if you hang your towels up to mean that you don't need clean ones, they still change them. Overall, we love it here and we will book again for our next stay in Salou.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but the room decor could do with a bit of upgrading

The room was great. We upgraded to a superior room as they were doing a deal because they had only reopened after the Christmas break. It was well worth it. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The shower was great and we loved the jacuzzi bath. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The room could have been a little warmer as the weather was quite cold. The heated rooftop pool was cold but I think that was to do with the hotel only reopening from their Christmas break.

Excellent location close to the beach and Portaventura. Great breakfast and comfortable room.

Since the rebrand the hotel has lost the friendly feeling and feels quite corporate Not the hotels fault but a shame a building is being constructed in front meaning sea view is lost and rooms on that side are now quite dark

The first two days were cold and windy, so the rooftop pool meant a lot to us – it’s excellent. The rooms were clean, we got plenty of towels, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Especially if you have a sweet tooth. The hotel’s location is also very good, just 3 minutes from the sea.

We have no complaints, just one small thing — there was a lack of vegetables at breakfast. Everythink is great.

In a quiet location, yet close to beach, with cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of Spanish hot and cold options, with good coffee, teas and juices. Small swimming pool and relaxing area on the roof. Also wellness treatments available in the hotel.

Everything was great, tho the shower could do with a rail, as the floor was very slippery.

loved the pool, mostly empty. the room was quite big with a balcony. bathroom was spacious, so was the shower. breakfast was good, not many warm options, but lots of pastries, different sorts of juices, cheese, marmelades etc. they had vegan milk. staff was friendly and helpful. the location was perfect, if you’re looking for a quiet stay - ponent beach was almost empty at all times, barely any kids (late september) and only a 3min walk! the centre is just a 15 min walk away

room could be cleaner but meets the standards. construction in front of hotel - doesnt matter as of now but once its done, will probably block the view. i wish the breakfast offered more warm options as more options for plant based people. more veggies/stuff other than cheese and sweets to put on your bread. - i could still overall have a great breakfast though. one day the juice was spoiled - told the staff and they exchanged it- can happen though.

The hotel is in a quieter area of Salou which is perfect for what we were looking for. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially the room maid and the waitress at breakfast time works her socks off. The breakfast selection is superb. The pool area is absolutely spotless and usually very quiet - almost like having your own private pool. Our room was fabulous - huge, comfortable bed and spacious shower with a spa bath The beach is a five minute walk away and the town centre is lovely with lots of restaurants nearby. I love the fact that it is a more authentic experience in this area rather than the noisy tourist part of the town. This is our second time staying at the Regente Aragon and we will definitely be back again.

There is nothing not to like

Good road connection and directions plus car parking available for a disabled member of family albeit off site there’s a drop off point right outside the hotel.

There’s no lift access directly to the roof top pool there are still two flights of stairs so not accessible for disabled guests

Great location close to beach, shops and restaurants. Great breakfast selection. Comfortable beds and we enjoyed the pool! Easy bike rentals right at the property.

There was construction right across the hotel with work going on for the whole day. We were out most days so it didn’t bother us too much.

The hotel location is good, near the seaside and bus station to other cities. The room is big and has all facilities needed. The rooftop heated swimming pool is great for a morning or afternoon dip.

The room was not very clean, needed dusting and once I used the bathtub I could see dust in the tub after the water was drained. There was no toilet brush and the room had a humid smell. The balcony is way too small, doesn't fit a chair. The hotel is gastronomic but the restaurants were not open, so couldn't feel the experience and the breakfast was nice with different options of cheeses, cold cuts, tortilla, and sweets.
